Real Housewives of New York
Real Housewives of New York’s Sonja Morgan is back in the Hamptons, folks. This time without the aid of mass transit! Tinsley Mortimer must have prayed to Jesus and Coco Chanel to take the wheel. She managed to deliver them safely to Ramona Singer’s house (that is far, far away from the highway). Fresh off a photo shoot, Sonja had her mermaid extensions and a neutral attitude on this trip. Hope she packed some Mane ‘n Tail shampoo!
Since the group is divided and she is not currently in dispute with anyone, Sonja finds herself having to navigate between the camps. One thing remains clear, whether it’s dueling restaurant invites or clambake dis-invites, none of these people can consume a meal without drama.
During the last episode of Real Housewives of New York, Sonja Morgan pleaded with the blondes to have some compassion for Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps. Bethenny was reeling from Dennis Shields’ death just three weeks before. Luann was fresh out from her second rehab stint. As much as Sonja tried, Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley just weren’t having it. In one of those conversations, Sonja remarked that Dennis was a smart guy.
Even though the conversation wasn’t even about the recently departed Dennis, Ramona steered it in that direction. She actually had the nerve to say, “How smart can Dennis be? I mean, he was on drugs.” Really, Ramona? Why would anyone ever say that?
Last week’s Real Housewives Of New York gave us a Mermaid Moonwalk. This week Ramona Singer terrorized a clambake by stuffing whole lobsters in a plastic grocery bag. This is why Real Housewives Of New York is the best!
“I’m not quite sure if I’m invited or not but I’m inviting myself,” shrugs Ramona, arriving at Barbara Kavovit‘s much-anticipated clambake. She believes wine is the salve that soothes all social wounds. So by bringing two bottles of rosé, PLUS a fancy pie, there’s no way she’ll be turned away. Who knew she’d leave with so many party favors.
The blondes vs. brunettes dynamics continue on tonight’s Real Housewives of New York episode. Dorinda Medley sits out Barbara Kavovit’s clambake, after she was unceremoniously disinvited. However, Ramona still attends even though she was not welcome as well.
Ramona is still at odds with Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel. Plus, she doesn’t seem to like Barbara too much. At all. Those two will definitely be screaming at each other later in the season. Right? So why would she go to this party? Oh, yeah: for the camera time. And the clams, right? Maybe Ramona just had a major craving for some seafood.
Life is a cabaret. Or at least that’s what Luann de Lesseps thinks. The first two episodes of Real Housewives of New York Season 11 have centered around two of her major feuds. Luann wants nothing to do with Dorinda Medley since the Jovani heckling.
And, then there’s Ramona Singer, who Luann is on bad terms with every other season. It’s tradition at this point. This time around, Lu has a lot of support. At this point in the season, she has Bethenny Frankel and the new girl Barbara Kavovit as her post-rehab ride or dies. Barbara even went so far as to disinvite Ramona and Dorinda from her party just to make sure Luann was comfortable. She may not be a full-time cast member, but she is proving herself to be a loyal
soldier friend to Luann!
Real Housewives of New York come and go. Some stay visible in the public eye after leaving the show, like Carole Radziwill. And some fade away like Jules Wainstein and Kristen Taekman. Still others make occasional returns, like Heather Thomson and Jill Zarin. And one former New York Housewife even came back full time, Bethenny Frankel.
A past New York Housewife we have not heard much from lately is Kelly Bensimon, she of the meandering conversation and the confusing Kelly speak. Although she popped up for a few guest appearances on New York after Bravo’s major casting reboot after Season 4, Kelly has not been on the show in several years. She is now sharing an update on what she has been doing-and hinting that she might be ready to rejoin the reality television world!
No one loves a themed event as much as a reality TV star does. And, of course, St. Patrick’s Day is no different.
There were plenty of reality TV stars that dressed up for the holiday and shared photos with their social media followers.
