In 2019, Lisa Vanderpump quit Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during Season 9. If you need a refresher, the entire season revolved around “puppy-gate.” RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK Kemsley, adopted a dog named Lucy from Vanderpump Dogs. Lucy allegedly bit their children, and PK. (I’m not even going to pretend to be upset that Lucy bit PK.)
Instead of returning Lucy to Vanderpump Dogs, as the adoption contract required, Dorit rehomed the pup. Lucy later turned up in a shelter. That is why reading contracts is important, Dorit.
Chrishell Stause, who stars on Selling Sunset, actually found love when she competed on the most recent season of Dancing With The Stars. Chrishell was partnered with Gleb Savchenko. The duo had chemistry, but no romantic sparks flew.
Fun fact: Gleb was Lisa Vanderpump’s pro partner when she waltzed around the ballroom in Season 16. And Lisa had an “emotional affair” with Gleb. TMI, Lisa.
Life is certainly not all diamonds and rose for Lisa Vanderpump, but her life does often come close to the saying. It feels like forever since we’ve seen LVP on our screens. She unceremoniously left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2019. She couldn’t take the mean girls anymore, so it was Goodbye Kyle [Richards], and goodbye housewives.
Then COVID hit, which meant no Vanderpump Rules either for the restauranteur. Recently, however, things have been turning around for Lisa. She has a new show, Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump, coming out on E! in March. The show will take place at Villa Rosa, where Lisa will literally overserve guests and spill some tea. So yeah, I’m there! The high of good news however doesn’t last for long. Now, Lisa and husband Ken Todd are being sued (again).
Lisa Vanderpump is still a very busy bee in the world of reality TV. Despite her exit from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she still manages to stay relevant. She has made some missteps along the way, but overall, it doesn’t seem like she’s missing RHOBH. She even managed to snag a new reality show.
But now Lisa is looking back on her time in another spotlight outside of Bravo. She appeared on Season 16 of Dancing With The Stars and decided to dish about her, erm, experience with her dancing partner.
Gone but not forgotten. Lisa Vanderpump has managed to remain semi-relevant since her exit from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s doubly impressive since her other show, Vanderpump Rules is also in need of some serious revival. While Lisa would have you think everything is going well, viewers have other ideas.
Either way, Lisa’s faithful followers were overjoyed in July when news broke she had snagged a new show surrounding her Vanderpump Dogs rescue. Fans had to hold on tight, though, since some people didn’t share that die-hard loyalty to LVP. There’s still a few theories that puppy-gate was just a launching pad for Ken Todd and Lisa to start yet another venture. Deep breaths everyone.
One thing we can look forward to if and when Vanderpump Rules comes back is Scheana Shay being pregnant and in a seemingly healthy relationship. Never forget, Scheana gave Lisa Vanderpump a reason to pitch the spinoff to Bravo by having an affair with Eddie Cibrian, Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband. Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney tried to make Scheana the villain on the show. However, that ultimately failed when it couldn’t be denied that they were actually awful people.
Throughout Scheana’s tenure on Pump Rules she has been trolled pretty hard. By fellow cast members, fans, and even shady former producers. Bottom line, if crappy people like Jax Taylor can get their happy ending on the show, I think Scheana, deserves the same. I know I’m not the only Scheana fan in the room either.
Remember Vanderpump Rules? If this were an ordinary year (where did those go?) we would be watching our once favorite SURvers right now as they made fun of Scheana Marie, fought over petty BS, and got sloppy drunk. Alas, the reckoning of 2020 put a stop to all that. Production for Season 9 is still halted due to COVID and Bravo fired OGs Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute for racist actions against Faith Stowers. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also got the ax “parted” with Pump Rules in 2020.
So, who’s left? Lala Kent, Scheana, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy and newbie Charli Burnett. That sounds like enough for a show to me. But it seems like Bravo is slowly backtracking on last year’s exodus. First, Andy Cohen publicly mourned the changes. Now, it’s Lisa Vanderpump’s turn to plant the seeds for redemption.
The prettiest mess there ever was. Erika Jayne’s split from husband Tom Girardi is some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama we’ve been asking for. Despite being the most watched franchise of 2020, fans are still begging for some intrigue from this cast. The gang-up on Lisa Vanderpump two seasons back followed by the communal Denise Richards drag has been exhausting. Erika to the rescue!
grifters Giardi’s have caught themselves in a pretty impressive bind. It started with Erika filing for divorce in November. Then we all learned about the renewed fraud allegations against Tommy. But it’s expensive to be Erika, and she has since demanded alimony from her elderly soon-to-be-ex-. Uh. Which part of this being burn victim and orphanage money does she not understand?
