In the cast shakeup heard around the world–OK–in Housewife Land–the departures of OG Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge from the Real Housewives of Orange County were recently announced. After Vicki’s demotion to Friend of last season, her exit was not a total shock. Tamra’s departure was a little more surprising. Housewife OG’s and long-time cast members are probably shaking in their Louboutins–if they are smart and their reality egos allow for reflections on their Housewife status.
Vicki went out relatively classy–thanking her fans for their support. Tamra took her leave when she was only offered three episodes to wrap up her storyline. Then she appeared to unfollow her former co-stars on Instagram. Who could blame her? Being shown the door has to sting. If all that wasn’t enough, both Vicki and Tamra have more fallout to deal with from their lives as former Housewives–besides tarnished reputations, that is.
There are a lot of categories at the Emmy Awards, which is why they have a separate show solely for the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Even with the first day of the awards, there were still a lot of awards to sit through during the main show.
No need to watch the whole broadcast if you recorded it. If you missed the Emmy Awards, don’t worry, we got you. We have compiled a list of winners from the categories you care about: the reality TV awards, of course. It was a major night for RuPaul’s Drag Race and Queer Eye.
With the new year comes a massive list of new and returning reality TV shows. We already welcomed back Mob Wives, The Little Couple, Love & Hip Hop, and Millionaire Matchmaker in December, so I hope you still have room in the DVR for what’s on the way.
The new shows include Donnie Loves Jenny, Preachers of Detroit, Friends to Lovers, Christina Milian Turned Up, and more.
Among the returning shows we have Little Women LA, Celebrity Apprentice with Brandi Glanville and Kenya Moore, Sister Wives, Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars with Reid and Aviva Drescher, Dance Moms, and more. Check out the complete list of winter premiere dates below.

And that is just the beginning! We still have The Voice, featuring new coaches Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani, Manzo’d with Children, Kendra on Top, focusing on Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson‘s marital woes, True Tori, and more to look forward to. As if Khloe Kardashian having to share the stage with sister Kim's ex-husband Damon Thomas wasn't enough (I'm still crossing my fingers they'll end up biffles–how hilarious would that be?), now we have a list of the X Factor's contestants' house rules. Admittedly, while I love a singing competition, much of my viewing of them comes from YouTube clips. You all have to remember Susan Boyle's Britain's Got Talent audition, right? I get teary just thinking about it. Simon Cowell, the hardazz, chewing on his pen while falling in love? Priceless!
That said, I've been lukewarm on the X Factor thus far this season. I was actually glad that Britney Spears didn't turn into the train wreck that seemed to be expected of her, and after getting Demi Lovato's newest song stuck in my head 24/7 and knowing her struggles, I like her as well. Who is there for me to snark on if I like everyone involved? Thankfully, knowing what the contestants are and aren't allowed to do, I have a new outlet, and it's awesome. Let's face it, the rules I'm about to share with you are less about compliance and more about human decency and common sense. Thankfully, peeps who are trying to make their name on reality television have neither!
