BravoCon might be over, but the post event drama is still burning hot. So many of your favorite Bravolebs were in attendance for this iconic event. From The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to Vanderpump Rules. They were all there. However, if you were expecting a “moment” between Lisa Vanderpump and her former costars, it didn’t happen. How great would that have been though?
Lisa’s shocking exit from Real Housewives sent everyone into a frenzy. The woman some people have crowned as the Queen Housewife had enough and walked away. It’s been over a year since Lisa stopped filming with the other women, so maybe she’d be open to reconciliation. It turns out time does not heal all wounds. If you were hoping to see Lisa and Kyle Richards interact, you were majorly let down.
The Bravolebrities all went to New York City for BravoCon, which had to be awkward, especially for anyone currently embroiled in a feud. Even though Lisa Vanderpump left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mid-season and ditched the reunion, she still has her own show, Vanderpump Rules. So, of course, she went to BravoCon to represent. The only problem is that Lisa’s former RHOBH costars were in the house as well.
On Friday night, Andy Cohen taped a special episode of Watch What Happens Live, which aired last night, with a ton of Bravo stars. Lisa was there with the Pump Rules crew. After her interview segment with Andy, she peaced out, apparently. Did she just have a better place to be? Was it simply time for bed? Or was she trying to avoid Kyle Richards and the rest of them?
Last season on Real Housewives of New Jersey, viewers watched the bridezilla of Bimini, Danielle Staub, torture everyone with her pre-wedding antics. Later that season, when Marty Caffrey insulted Margaret Josephs at Jennifer Aydin’s anniversary party, Margaret helped Danielle’s husband take a dip in the pool.
After just two months of marriage, Danielle and Marty split up. So that makes Danielle a divorcee three times over. It was an ugly divorce, with restraining orders and public insults flying back and forth. Later, Danielle even claimed that former friend Margaret is the one who broke up her marriage. How exactly did Margaret do that?
This weekend is the first ever BravoCon. I have to admit that it sounds like a lot of fun. Tickets for the event went on sale in August and sold out immediately. Three days of all your favorite Bravo reality stars from all your favorite shows. The convention is featuring panels, photo ops, live shows and more. There is even going to be a Real Housewives Museum with photos, dresses worn at the reunions and Housewives memorabilia. Maybe Real Housewives of New York’s Aviva Drescher’s famously tossed prosthetic leg will make a guest appearance!
Bravo fans attending the event will also be able to try a special product inspired by one of the network’s favorite stars. Vanderpump Rules’ Lisa Vanderpump is being honored with a sparkling rosé that will debut at BravoCon.
I am still struggling with the secondhand awkwardness induced by Teresa and Joe Giudice’s post-ICE interview with Andy Cohen. I could feel the tension between the screen as the estranged spouses accused each other of cheating and talked about how they didn’t find their partner attractive while in prison.
That special was only an hour, which means there was plenty of footage left on the cutting room floor. Recently, some unreleased footage came to light with Joe talking about how tough it was to watch Real Housewives of New Jersey while he was in prison.
It’s been so tough to watch the disintegration of Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson’s friendship this season on Real Housewives of Orange County. It seemed like they had a true friendship, beyond the show. However, it appears that Gina pulled a Cady Heron in Mean Girls and ditched her old friends for the Plastics, I mean the Tres Amigas.
Most of the RHOC viewers have rallied behind Emily. I mean, come on. How sad was it when Gina just got up from that fashion show to ditch Emily so she could sit with Shannon Beador? How sad was it to see Gina making fun of Emily with her new
master BFF Tamra Judge? It was also so awkward when Emily wanted Gina to hit Vegas fresh off of her DUI and in the middle of her divorce. There is a whole lot to unpack. The relationship really fell apart this season. Will they be able to bounce back? Or is Gina under Tamra’s spell?
We haven’t seen Danielle Staub (yet) on Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 10, but she’s making waves away from the TV screen. Danielle and her ex-husband Marty Caffrey recently shared photos and videos hanging out together on Instagram. Yes, after restraining orders, months of public mudslinging, and a divorce that was just way too messy for an eight-week marriage, these two hung out. And made a public spectacle of it, of course.
One of Danielle’s many enemies, Margaret Josephs, weighed in on their reconciliation during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live last week.
What are your thoughts on this season of Real Housewives of Orange County? Overall, I would say that it is a bit of an improvement over the last few seasons. Maybe it has something to do with that cast member who used to be a regular on the show and was demoted and hasn’t been on as much…what is her name again? Nicki…Ricki…Micki…oh yeah, Vicki Gunvalson!
This season’s newest cast member, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, has made quite a splash–but maybe not always in the most positive ways. Unlike last season’s freshman Housewives, Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson, Braunwyn has let it all hang out. Sometimes, maybe too much. From making out with Tamra Judge to oversharing intimate details of her odd marriage, Braunwyn is assuring she doesn’t fade into the background. Recently, Braunwyn found herself being truly initiated into the group by being yelled at by another cast member–Gina. So, how does Gina really feel about Braunwyn after their tea party dust up?
