Seems like Danielle Staub failed to come completely clean on her past during the finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Danielle only admitted to being arrested, changing her name, and being a past stripper. What she failed to admit was that she also used to be a prostitute/high paid escort.
The Gawker got their hands on the court documents involving Danielle’s 1986 arrest, and it definitely sheds more light on her past.
The documents revealed the following -
1) In 1986, Staub went by the name Beverly Merrill, but her working name as a high-end prostitute was “Angela Minelli.” She was living in Miami, and one of her clients was Daniel Claudio Aguilar, a cocaine dealer for the Medellín cartel.
2) Danielle wasn’t in the wrong place at the wrong time as she claimed. She was heavily involved with the kidnapping which came as a result of a cocaine deal gone wrong, which Danielle also had a big part in. Danielle’s job was to help test the cocaine that was being sold for $48,000.
3) During the kidnapping, Danielle helped make phone calls to the victim’s family demanding a ransom.
4) Danielle was picked up/arrested with six kilos of cocaine and $16,000 in cash.
5) After her arrest, Danielle turned on her boyfriend/kidnapper known as Aguilar, and helped in convicting him.
6) During the trial, Aguilar’s lawyers tried to undermine Danielle’s credibility by repeatedly pointing out that she was a prostitute who worked for an escort service and coke addict.
7) Danielle’s ex husband and author of the Book – Cop Without A Badge, Kevin Maher, has critized her for appearing on reality citing the fact that Aguilar might want to carry out his revenge on her. Aguilar was released from prison in 1994.
I guess being a past prostitute/escort isn’t something anyone would want to admit to, but why go on a reality show knowing you have all these skeletons in your closet? If you are going to come clean, you might as well come all the way clean.
In other news, the big rumor that refuses to go away is that Dina’s husband, Tommy Manzo, has left her and moved in with a younger girlfriend. Sources say Tommy is living with his girlfriend in an apartment close to the Brownstone where he works at. I guess time will tell whether or not Dina is truly separated from her husband.

Danielle is disgusting. I heard she and Jacqueline are no longer friends.
I can picture Danielle explaining these latest revelations to her daughters by claiming the author of ‘Cop Without A Badge’ and her ex-husband are trying to smear her name because she called them both liars on national television. She’ll probably also tell her daughters and others that she was forced to plead guilty to these counts in order to cop a plea or something along those lines, since it’s not clear how these counts play into the charges.
Surely she’s been preparing for this day. If not, then Danielle is even more mentally disturbed than first imagined if she believed all aspects of her past would not eventually come to light after joining the cast of the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey.’
These new revelations make her tears and accusations against Dina and Caroline appear particularly hollow. This latest news also makes the husbands and sons (at the finale dinner) who seemed to side with Danielle after laughing and brushing off their own wives and sisters look a tad foolish. One thing’s for sure, Danielle is no longer welcomed in Chris (her former white knight) and Jacqueline’s home. According to Jacqueline, Danielle will never be allowed to see the new baby. She has not said yet what exactly Danielle did this time, but Jacqueline now agrees that Dina and Caroline were right about Danielle all along.
Meanwhile, last night’s reunion was a huge disappointment, especially since it ran for only 30 minutes. I’m not even excited about the second half now. (Unlike the ‘Real Housewives of New York’ reunion.) Danielle’s hair extensions did nothing to offset the newly hardened sallowness of her face. She claimed to have had only lip injections and absolutely no plastic surgery …Uh-huh. Jacqueline, on the other hand, had balloon lips that wrecked her features.
Dina brought a high school photo of herself to prove that Danielle was wrong when she claimed Dina had fake lips. After seeing the old picture, Danielle agreed that Dina must’ve been born with big lips.

enough already! move on! i don’t think she stood a chance. theresa is the one who keeps it all going by talking incessantly about daniel. why? b/c she knows if she doesn’t stay in good with the manzo/laurita family they will disregard her too, after all she is not family! so she keeps the focus on danielle. little does she realize her daughter gia will probably end up even worse. danielle did what she had to do to survive while gia will expect the world to cater to her. you can already see a troubled child in the making. i love the whole cast with the acception of theresa. the more she puts out this hatred the more she will create it in her own kids. my goodness look in the mirror theresa, you ain’t so hot to be talking about anyone!
Hello Ladies! This is a TV show! The editors show us what they want and the characters are acting in a “reality” form. It’s truely entertaining!!! As for the characters, I love ‘em all! Dina … gorgeous & a low-key bitch. Caroline – beautiful family not to be messed with. Jacqueline – seems weak … but we all know better. Teresa – a good Italian broad but really … who spends cash like that live without the IRS. Danielle – you have a past so what … but you’re acting like you’re about send a dead fish to someone (it’s a message!) Truly good entertainment! My girls & I love getting together for some wine & girly time over the NJ Housewives because they’re the most real!!!! Good luck ladies!!!!
