Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker – Patti Stanger will finally be tying the knot at the age of 48. UsWeekly is reporting that Patti is newly engaged to beau Andy Friedman.
Never one to bite her tongue, Patti tells US – “I feel like it should have happened years ago, so I’m kind of shocked.”
Pattie and Andy, a 51-year-old real estate executive whom she met through a matchmaker have been dating for five and a half years. He popped the question in Maui, Hawaii, on her May 31 birthday.
He proposed with a 4 carat ring. Patti says, “I have a rule, if you go out a year and he doesn’t propose, it goes up a carat a year.” The two plan to marry in 2010.
Advising others on how to get a ring while being 48 years old, unmarried and in a 5 year relationship was starting to seem like an oxymoron. So congrats to Patti for finally getting that ring.

I guess I sent my first e-mail to the wrong place but I just wanted to let you know that I am a old 74 year old woman and have seen your show before and then again last night (2-8-10) when Kevin and Randy were on I sure hope they made it as I think they should be together.
I married very young with all the odds against us and here I am 56 years later still happely married.
