More details are being revealed about the now infamous White House dinner party crashers, Michaele Salahi and husband Tareq Salahi. Michelle, a former Redskins cheerleader, is one of the Bravo housewives cast to be on the upcoming Real Housewives of D.C., which is currently being filmed.
Most reports and articles portray these two as being wannabes, posers, desperate social climbers who might also be broke. A quick look at Michaele’s facebook album will reveal photos of her with a number of celebrities ranging from Oprah, Jack Black, Matt Damon, Fergie, Star Jones, Ashley Judd, and even reality star Omarosa. This clearly exhibits the first sign of a poser – one taking an excessive number of photos with celebs to prove they are in the “in crowd.”
A CNN report paints the couple in a worse light, as they have been named in 16 civil cuits, and have left quite an extensive paper trail in federal bankruptcy and state court filings. One of their court cases includes a long court battle with Tareq’s parents over their family winery. Court records show Tareq sued his mother, Corinne, and the case was dismissed. Corinne sued Tareq and the case went to trial. Tareq and Michaele won control of the winery in 2007, but it has run into debt since then. The winery filed for bankruptcy back in February, and owes over $900,000 in debt.
In addition to federal bankruptcy, Tareq and Michaele may now face criminal charges. If they lied to federal agents in order to get into the White House dinner, that is a federal crime, says Fran Townsend , CNN national security contributor.
Bravo released the following statement regarding Michaele, “Michaele Salahi is under consideration as a cast member, as such Half Yard Productions were filming the Salahis on that day. Half Yard was only aware that per the Salahis they had been invited as guests.”
Not exactly sure what Bravo means by saying Michaele is “under consideration” to be a cast member. To my knowledge, she has already been cast and has been filming for months along with the other D.C. housewives. To sum this up, unless Bravo decides to do away with the DC franchise all together, there’s a 100% chance Michaele will be coming soon to a Bravo channel near you.

Depends on the outcome and if there are charges, I suspect they cut her or the entire DC franchise. Guess we gotta watch what happens.
Just another “happening” that goes to show you that The Real Housewives series are really not “real” at all. They are not even socialites and putting on a show to bravo and on facebook trying to impress everyone into believing they are people who they really are “not.” Disgusting!!! I hope the two of them go to jail and I hope they get cut from the D.C. Housewives series. Oh, they do blend in with the other Real Housewives stars, they are damn broke like most the rest of them. Perhaps they’ll fall into the Real Housewives curse – foreclosure or even death as has happened 3 times already in the series.

I think this guy is potentially dangerous. I bet the secret service is doing a full investigation into his backround and are not liking what they’re seeing. Most people who have been caught trying to gain illegal access to the White House have been psychopathic and their plot was not a spur of the moment thing. It’s usually well planned, months in advance. His wife is crazy too, just judging by the fact that she thinks she can be a model. Her giraffe neck is disgusting.
I hope they’re not rewarded for their behavior by allowing them to appear on the talk show and news circuit. They should pull the plug on that show and they should be treated as criminals, just like the Heenys.
Again, Bravo thinks most of the public are idiots. Bravo never did a back ground check on these 2 to see they are broke? They think this is what the public wants. Please, if an updated show of Little house on the Prairie were on. The public would watch that instead of this mess, who are nothing but classless idiots. I am so sick of these Jon & Kate plus 8 fame whores anymore. Bravo, you are the idiots in all this mess. Hope the White House goes after your attention seeking money whore helpers too.
Why aren’t they in jail?
My understanding of Secret Service protocols and laws governing protection of the President and Vice-President, is that sooner or later they will get arrested and charged.
Just a matter of time.
There is a law that makes it a federal crime to be in the vicinity of the President – just by virtue of being there uninvited or causing a problem. Its a widely interpreted law designed to give maximum latitude to courts in order to protect the Chief Executive.
The SS is probably looking at the entire set of circumstances since someone may lose their job or assignment (may get reassigned to New Mexico for example) due to this situation.
BravoTV is going to any length to create publicity for these Real Housewives.
Criminals, walk-aways, bankrupted, broke, bad renters, arrested, jailed, sued, DUI’s, failed businesses, pawnbroker and other bottom-feeders – that’s who are the “Real Housewives” on Bravo.
A I the only one, or does this guy’s tux look ill fitting (who wears double-breasted tuxes anymore?), and the jacket and pants don’t look as though they’re made of the same fabric.

No way! According to the Redskins cheer leading organization, they have no idea who Michaele is, never saw her before. She showed up at a Redskinks cheerleader reunion, in uniform, and no one new her. The only thing they own is brass, lots of it.
