With or without Kate Gosselin, the show must go on and it did on the latest episode of Dancing With The Stars.
The stars danced on Monday night to either the Argentine tango or the samba, concluding the night with a first ever three minute swing marathon. Coming in first place for the second week in a row was Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough. The duo received a score of 26 for their sizzling samba. A score of 10 for their swing marathon put them at the top of the leaderboard with a total of 36.
Coming in second place for the first time ever was ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who thankfully ended up shirtless by the end of a hot and sexy samba dance. “You nailed it!” applauded judge Carrie Ann. The dancing couple received their best score yet of the season, a 25. Coming in second place at the swing marathon contest gave them a total score of 34.
Surprisingly coming in 5th place this week was Evan Lysacek, who’s samba dance failed to impress the judges. Evan, who has been in the top two the entire season, received a score of 21 for what the judges called his “worst dance” yet. Coming in 5th place during the swing marathon put him at a total of 27.
In last place this week was the Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka, who received a score of 21 for his samba dance. Jake, who was the first eliminated in the swing competition, ended the night with a total score of 25. Another couple will be given the boot in the results show tonight.
