The anticipated reunion smackdown showdown between Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi aired on ABC last night and boy did things get ugly.
The former engaged Bachelor couple sat down together with the show’s host Chris Harrison to dish on what went wrong in their brief relationship and engagement. Below is a recap:
What Went Wrong?
He Said: “The relationship was going downhill but I wasn’t ready to quit fighting.”
She Said: “The first month together was great. He was crazy about me. From there it went straight downhill. It felt like a relationship when cameras were rolling or we were out on a red carpet, but when we were at home [it was] lonely. I just wanted him to be around me and talk to me and kiss me like a normal relationship.”
The Star Magazine Interview Vienna Got Paid For -
He Said: “I’m so mad at you. I’m disgusted with you.”
She Said: “Either way, our relationship had been public. The world was going to want to know what happened . . . I hadn’t had a voice this entire time… You are a fame whore is what you are.”
Life After The Bachelor -
She Said: “My impression was that you were a pilot and we were going to go back to Florida and Dallas and live a normal life. Instead, we’re in L.A. and you’re pursuing a career in acting.”
He Said: “At least I was pursuing a career in something.”
Who’s To Blame?
He Said: “She breaks me down, she undermines me, she’s mean . . . this is it, right here.”
She Said: “He was always mean to me and treated me like I was a child.”
My take on this – I absolutely believe Vienna’s side on this story. Why? Well mostly because I believe the story of Jake’s ex-girlfriend Tanya Douglas. Tanya came out right after the Bachelor ended and said Jake only went on the show for fame, and even tried to get back together with her just days after proposing to Vienna. I believe the reason Jake was so hell bent on staying with Vienna was because he wanted to save face over his two timing ways, and prove to the public he really loved Vienna, though he most likely did not. I also believe Vienna when she says Jake only kissed her in public and wasn’t intimate with her for months. I do know that Jake’s Dancing With The Stars partner, Chelsie Hightower, wasn’t a big fan of him, and most people who worked on the show didn’t like him either. Overall, I just think Jake’s a bit weird. Is he gay? I didn’t give the rumor any merit at first, but after hearing what his ex-girlfriend also had to say, I must say I wouldn’t be surprised if he was.

I don’t necessarily disbelieve Vienna however, she was acting like a spoiled brat last night. Clearly, she’s not mature enough to deal with real life and didn’t really give a shit what Jake was trying to say. I couldn’t believe how many times she interrupted him. I was like “STFU already and let the man answer his questions.”
He’s just fake/phony, living for the cameras. She is immature, yes, but I believe she spoke the truth. His anger was a “break” from his carefully constructed “good guy” persona. She was no different than she was before. That’s why I believe her over him.

Vienna was not acting spoiled or a brat. You can tell she was really hurt by it and she had deep feelings for jake. What she was saying about jake was easy to believe due to his mannerisms and his little smirk on his face.

Nimeo, I agree – the host definitely came down on Vienna and not on Jake. I really don’t like Vienna, but I think she was under the impression this was a real relationship. Jake is so fake – he was an arse to her! Can’t stand either of one of them, but I think she’s telling the truth.
I can’t put my finger on it-but Jake’s mannerisms, the smirk on his face-something is just a little off about him
Vienna is definitely a media hog … however I wanted someone to B**** slap Jake. He accidently let his control freak nature out in front of the cameras, then blamed her for it. Was she supposed to just sit there and let him tell his lies for 30 minutes with her hands folded neatly in her lap and her mouth shut?? I don’t think so. She’s no angel, either, but he’s a jackhole.
I think he picked her because he thought she was young enough to control … then found out she had a voice, which hacked him off. He had to maintain that “perfect” role he had carved out for himself, so when everything went wrong she had to carry the blame.
Both of them need to sink back into obscurity.

@ 14 Nimeo…Chris Harrison is an asshole! He was harsh on Vienna because ABC didn’t get the scoop and she sold her story to another media outlet. I heard Vienna say she didn’t get a dime to do the Bachelor show, I don’t blame her one iotta for selling her story and getting the truth out about Jake, after all those months with Jake she deserved some sort of compensation… at least free therapy.
I am not overly fond of either Jake or Vienna, but I do understand why she sold her story, Vienna certainly didn’t owe anything to Jake the Jerk or to ABC, she was just a pawn in this nasty game.
Chris Harrison is just afraid all the negativity about Bachelor/Bachelorette drama will cause a decline in viewership and possibly the show’s cancellation…oh no, that would mean Chris Harrison would have to go back to HGTV.

Wasn’t a fan of Vienna from the get-go, but I have gradually begun to dislike Jake even more. I thought he was annoying initially on Jill’s season, and the more I saw him, the more I disliked him. He is a complete douchbag and he seems to be verbally and emotionally abusive. He is a liar and I do believe he is gay. Just admit it Jake!
I believe Vienna but they’re both fame whores. The relationship was destined to fail because it was a sham to begin with…maybe she (and some viewers) was naive enough to believe it was actually real but come on. Wake up!!!! It’s ABC, it’s the Bachelor, it’s Chris Harrison and it’s that creepy Fleiss douche…I say fuck them both. Here’s to not ever hearing about these two ever again. Or the Bachelor and its bevy of fame-whore wannabes for that matter.
Watching Jake on Dancing With The Stars, you could see some of his character being revealed. I believe his actions do show he has a bad temper. Does anybody else think Jake and Kate would make a good couple? There has been comments lately about her finding a new man, and they did seem to get along on DWTS. I think they would be perfect. I find them very similiar Fame-Whores, big-mouths, tempers, etc. Perfect couple in my eyes, but then we would never be rid of either. I found he talked down to Vienna, and no woman should take that.
I had a really hard time watching that interview. Jake was passive aggressive the way he sat so cool and controlled while Vienna fell apart. He would not address anything she said. He kept his mouth shut and that made her more frustrated. He knew how to push her buttons by refusing to validate anything she said. He is cold and manipulative. Vienna, be glad you are done with him!

Who in their right mind would assume that a reality dating show where a guy gets to sift through a bunch of whores in search for true love would produce anything more than an epic failure?
