It’s actually happening!
Just two months after announcing their engagement, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and playmate Crystal Harris have set a wedding date.
Hugh, 84, and Crystal, 24, both appeared on the Piers Morgan Tonight show this week, during which they confirmed they will be tying the knot on June 18. In fact, the two are planning to tie the knot at the Playboy mansion.
“It will be intimate with a close number of friends here at the mansion,” Hugh said of the nuptials. “No big blowout affair. Something very personal.”
An insider reveals to UsWeekly that they’ve set the list at less than 300 guests, adding that Crystal is close to making one other important choice: the wedding gown. Crystal, who’s engagement ring is worth $90,000, is reportedly eyeing a strapless dress by designer Romona Keveza.
As for Hugh’s ex Holly Madison, she made it clear two weeks ago that she will not be in attendance.

If anyone read the expose by one of his girlfriends about how the mansion was run when he had his 7 very young blond bombshells…you would find this repulsive.

I always thought HH was an especially charming and intelligent man…however his penchant for young girls and the way in which he wants them to behave like adolescents rather than the young women they are when they live with him is disturbing.

This 24 yr old is going to stand by when he has another heart attack and is possibly left a drooling invalid? He is old enough to be her GREAT grandfather. To me with all the girlfriends living at the mansion at the same time and being given an “allowance” that fairly screams Pimp!!
I just don’t get it. Why bother marrying someone you already have living with you at his age, and well, her reasons for marriage are obvious I guess….I still don’t get it tho.
@12 MamaG…I agree. I think Hugh has always been with women who are 20 something. I don’t care if he was 40, 60, or 80 something…he’s been with these really, really young women. I know he’s young in his “ways”, but I find it very ODD that he’s old enough to be with someone young enough to be his grandchild. I guess if she doesn’t care, or her family, then I shouldn’t. If it wasn’t this woman, it’d be another. All kinds seem to be lined up. I’m reminded of the Anna Nicole-Smith case where she was with that man old enough to be her grandfather or great-grandfather. I couldn’t do it. No way. Not for all the money, publicity, etc. in the world. I married a man 2 yrs. younger. LOL. Married 25yrs, too. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
I’ve watched a few shows where they show the exterior/interior of Hugh’s Playboy mansion. It’s very nice exterior I think. Love the architecture. However, I think it looks filthy on the interior. I also wouldn’t want to take a dip in that grotto. Nasty.

I know Holly has made her statements that “she only wants what’s best for Hef & that she’s always going to be protective about him”. I think she’s very hurt. 7 or 8 yrs. with Hef & he would not even entertain the thought of marrying her. That’s gotta sting.
@18 Chell Bell – I think Holly was willing to wait and wait and wait – she should have left after a couple years. Hef might have realized maybe he does want to be married. Just seems odd that right after Holly he marries the next girl. I think he realized how easy someone who is good to him can up and leave. Maybe he figures with a marriage certificate it makes it a little harder since you have to get attorneys, etc. involved.
I saw some of the interview and it was hilarious!
First, Crystal was yelling with excitement the entire time and wanting to answer all the questions herself.
When Piers asked Hef what he had in common with her and why they were getting married, he dribbled out some answer but never said it was because he loved her.
When asked if any of the ‘other girlfriends’ were upset, they both skipped around Holly to the point that Piers just said, what about Holly?
Hugh replied, that many were fans of GND and knew Holly and that the fans just needed to separate Reality from a Reality Show! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When Piers asked Crystal what they did, all she said was they stayed in bed and watched old movies. Same shit Holly used to say!
How boring is that watching these old glamour movie stars that Hugh has a big crush on and listening to Hugh go on and on about how Marilyn was the first centerfold even though he never met her.
Which is exactly what he did on Piers. Hugh is really stuck in a time warp!

@meinnyc – I am going to have to check out this interview now. For each his own, and if they are happy then good for them. I wish I could interview them – LOL. I would flat out ask – Are you with him for money? I guess that’s what would be really refreshing – if I could see an honest interview. I would love if Crystal would come out and say “Yes, money is a big reason why I am with him”. Because if Hef wasn’t rich there is no way she would be hanging out with an 80 something year old man.
