Months after the shocking finale episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired, it seems there is still a major rift between sisters Kim and Kyle Richards, as the current issue of UsWeekly reports “Kim is not speaking to Kyle.”
During the now infamous limo fight between the two sisters, Kyle physically threatened Kim as the two had some nasty words of exchange during which Kyle stated Kim was an “alcoholic.” Since that episode aired, the two have yet to be seen together in public. In fact, Kim’s only public appearance since came via a brief joint interview with sister Kathy Hilton on the E! network, to wish Paris Hilton a happy birthday.
Many fans continue to wonder the status of the sisters’ relationship as there have been conflicting reports in the media since. And while Kyle stated a month ago that the two were in “a good place,” adding “the show has taught me to handle her in a different way,” the latest report by UsWeekly seems to dispute that.
According to UsWeekly, the sisters are definitely “not talking.” The reason? “Kim has had it with Kyle.”
The story goes on to confirm previous reports which stated all of the original BH housewives, including Kim, have signed on to return for a second season, though an insider adds that Kim, 46, was on the fence about returning. “Kim finally signed on but told Kyle she wants nothing to do with her next season,” reveals the insider.
The source also adds that on the next season, “Kim will face her alcohol problems on the show.”
While Kyle’s behavior on the show was bad enough, it’s likely Kim’s disdain also stems from the aftermath of the show. In the weeks following the airing of that volatile episode, there were numerous reports in the press that seemed to have been planted by ‘Team Kyle’ sources. Majority of these reports attempted to paint Kim in a very negative light, while pretty much attempting to do the exact opposite for Kyle.
As for the Bravo hit show, numerous reports state filming has already began on the second season.

She did used to be an attractive woman…and watching this and a Larry King interview, she was actually very articulate and poised. She doesn’t interject “like” into her sentences…still don’t like her. And still think she’s a reprehensible famewhore for how she exposed all her dead friends secrets and profited from her murder. Ever hear of “rest in peace,” Faye?

@ jane: as for ur post about kim, i guess i saw it from a different perspective. i thought kim kept trying to put a positive spin on her life regarding dating, children, house, friends, childhood acting career, kyle, etc. i can see this especially in her interviews in which she enjoys being wacky, funny, and sunny. she seems like she’s just trying to be a happy camper. even in the reunion, kim kept emphasizing that everything is good, good, good. the only one who kept pushing a darker image of kim’s life was kyle. when that backfired on kyle, that really cant be blamed on kim, can it. there’s a way to help people lift themselves up, then there’s a way to ground them into the earth.

and if kim is going to deal with her alleged alcohol issue in season two, then i think she’s going to handle it in a more positive manner than kyle ever could.

Wow, gone for a few days and all hell breaks loose. Honestly, I think Kim and Kyle are talking allllllllll the way to the bank.
I didnt read every post, but I did read enough and want to throw my two cents in. You NEVER and I mean NEVER get over the death of a loved one. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost a special one in their lifes.

@156 Nicks: Your post is timely, as I was just about to respond to my biggest fan. Perhaps divine intervention stepped in, as the causes of the obviously negative impression I have created in the Reality Tea Clubhouse is meaningless in the grander scheme of life. I’ve simply become disappointed in the tone and direction of the comments, and feel that they could be so much more interesting and less trite.
Having been called on the carpet regarding my point-of-view, my lack of writing skill, my poor grammar, and my use of expletives, I feel compelled to tell you that my writing, which is so distasteful to you, served me quite well for the 20+ years I toiled as writer and editor at a highly respected NYC publication. Which, by the way, was left-leaning, highly intellectual and greatly encouraged “snark” and those who grasped it.
In 2010, both my mother and father passed away, and my sister was murdered in her Upper East Side apt,, which has never been solved. They comprised my entire family. I strongly suspect that my unending grief has manifested itself in an elevated level of sarcasm and negativity.
So there you have it. I’m well-aware of my failings. For old time’s sake, meinnyc, ellipses (or dots, as you call them) are the bain of many writer’s lives, particularly when so overused and I think that’s what got us off on the wrong foot. I’m sorry–it just drives me crazy.
I truly apologize for offending so many, but let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Very cliche, but life’s too short.

Kyle lacks character, a moral compass, compassion, strength, and general kindness. Kim is the polar opposite of Kyle. She is strong, kind-hearted, loving, talented, genuine, and unaffected. She should stay far away from the poison of Kyle who works hard at grinding her down into the ground under the guise of some sort of twisted sisterly love. The kind of “love” Kim can do very well without. Let Kyle spread her special kind of love onto her very good friends Traylor & Faye Resnick. Two of the most despicable human beings I’ve ever known to exist. Kyle’s BFF’s. So much so, she referred to Faye as a sister. Run Kim run. Your life will be so much better w/o the vile that IS Kyle.
P.S.–Kyle, if you are reading this, Karma is a bitch & it will meet you when you least expect it. Can u even imagine darling little Portia making Sophia feel worthless, publicly humiliating her, trash talking her to her friends, building barriers between she and her children, & looking on as others throw stones at her, all in the name of sisterly love, of course.

michelle: i think kyle might be the type to approve of one sister bullying er pushing another sister who might be considered less successful. i just think that kyle’s type of “love” is conditional, not unconditional. from what i’ve read, that’s how mama richards was too.

looks like the sisters have seen each other now!
Kyle has shown she is a despicable and morally corrupt person in how she handled Camille, Kim, and the drunk woman at the white party. Kyle is abusive emotionally and physically and never learns or owns up to her reprehensible behavior. After watching Vile Kile, I totally believe Camille who is a million times the person Kyle can never be.
I would not put it past Kyle to have swindled her sister Kim out of her house.
