A week after betraying her alliance member Jeff Schroeder, which ultimately led to death threats for her family from deranged fans, Big Brother 13′s Shelly Moore found herself voted out of the BB house.
In a new interview with Reality Wanted, the 41-year-old Centerville, Ohio native explains why she played both sides in the game, and whether or not she regrets turning against her alliance with Jeff and Jordan. Excerpts from Shelly’s interview below -
Q. RealityWanted: When you originally aligned with Jeff and Jordan, were you planning on sticking with them through the entire game or did you always know you’d have to turn on them at some point?
A. Shelly: I knew I would have to turn on them at some point. I absolutely knew there would have to be a separation.
Q. RealityWanted: You went back and forth between the newbies and the veterans this season. Did you feel torn at all about where your allegiance should be?
A. Shelly: No, I didn’t feel torn. My allegiance always would have stayed with the veterans because they had better gameplay. But on the other side, I needed to keep the newbies close and I knew they saw the veterans as such a threat and were so scared of them.
Q. RealityWanted: Did your fight with Jeff the morning of his eviction play a part in you turning on him?
A. Shelly: Yes.
Q. RealityWanted: You told Julie that voting out Jeff was a dumb move but what do you feel was your best move in the game?
A. Shelly: My best move was being able to actually work to manipulate both sides. I was pleased when I was able to convince Kalia not to put Jeff and Jordan on the block and get Lawon up there. I was happy I could get her to hear my arguments. I think for the most, working both sides worked out great for me.
A special episode of Big Brother aired last night during which one of the remaining five HGs was evicted. That honor went to Kalia, who was deemed as a bigger threat, rightfully so, than her alliance member Porsche. Jordan threw viewers a curve ball by voting to keep Kalia, thus forcing a tie. It however appears Rachel was aware of Jordan’s plan to vote to keep Kalia. No word yet on why Jordan voted the way she did. A new HOH competition was then played and ultimate floater Adam emerged the winner!

NOMINATIONS - Adam nominated Porsche and Jordan.
POV Winner - Porsche won the POV! She is therefore guaranteed a spot in the final 3. This leaves Jordan and Rachel on the chopping block. At the moment, it appears Porsche’s plan is to vote out Jordan due to her past win.
The reason Jordan voted Porsche was because of her pinky swear with Kalia. She discussed it with Adam and Rachel beforehand and they knew it was just a throw away vote as Rachel would have the ultimate say vis the tie breaker. Jordan didn’t want to have blood on her hands with anyone on jury in the event she made Final 2. Although IIRC her pinky swear with Kalia was not putting the other up, I didn’t think it wasn’t not voting them out. Kalia guilted her into voting that way by helping her remember it was not voting the other out.
I’m gagging as I say this, but with the 3 left, I’m hoping Rachel wins. Hope either Lawon or Shelly wins America’s Favorite. I so don’t want Jeff or Jordan to win. I loved them their season, but this season they turned into entitled, arrogant brats. And Jeff was a homophobic douchebag!
Well, reading that spoiler really bums me out. I was hoping to see Jordan and Rachel in the end! Damn! Oh well, if they vote out Jordan, hope Rachel wins it all!
I am all for Adam winning!
yes people are going to bitch that hes a floater hes a floater yadda yadda, he hasnt done anything blah blah blah..but guess what…rather you like it or not.. Floating IS a game strategy in the BB game and Adam has followed it out to perfection!!! Floater until the end when you need to win the most important competitions!!
He NEVER ONCE had a target on his back. He NEVER ONCE was in the middle of drama. He NEVER ONCE was in the spotlight. He NEVER ONCE swayed from his word! all the above has to be suuuuper difficult to do, especially when your locked inside a house with crazies and whackadoos! That man has some awesome patience.
Jordon isn’t a ‘floater’ because she never swayed sides…but she IS a Coat Tail Rider…
Rachel def deserves to win. Been on the block 4 times AS THE TARGET!!! and she’s still in the game! but i jus dont want to see her win. I dont want the BB winnings to go towards a ridiculous outlandish Brenchal wedding. Rachel is a better person w/out Brendon IMO
Porsche..now SHES the ultimate floater. and in a bad way. she didnt wake up til day 55. and she’s won a couple important things…esp this POV WIN! big props to her! but Floater Porsche vs. Floater Adam… Adam deserves the win! He may not have busted his ass from the get go..but he knew what he was doing! stay low, stay true, be a good guy, get to the end, then win win win win!!! Keep it goin Adam!
* I hope Porsche evicts rachel though….if rachel is in F3 neither Porsche or Adam will have much of a chance..esp with endurance things coming up.
I agree with you Kellie. If this was a few weeks ago I’d never want Rachel to win, but now I hope see wins. She definitly is the hardest and smartest player.

I agree with OklaHW, Rachel deserves to win. As much as I dislike her, compared to the others she has played the game the most. Porsche can win competitions but can’t talk game! It’s so pathetic when she does.

No! Not Porsche for the POV! Jeez, I have no idea why in the world Rachel, Jordan, and Adam would have chosen to keep Porsche in the game knowing how well she’s gotten her game together for competitions. She’s clearly a bigger threat.
I’m all for Rachel for the win and Adam for 2nd place. OklaHW said it well. While everyone else *cough* Shelly *cough* chose to lie and make empty promises throughout the game, Adam was one of the few to actually maintain his integrity and do as he said. Someone write him a check for $50,000!
well now jordan can finally go to the jury house with jeff she wanted to be with him this summer and i cant wait to see the look on jeff face when jordan walk through that door and i’m rooting for porsha or racheal to win bb13. I’m so happy that porsha won pov now jordan can take her floating ass to the jury house.
Agree 100% with #1 Super Reality Junkie: Jordan’s was a throw away vote, my take on it is that Jordan seems to be more manipulative than her sweet appearance, she did not want to get her hands dirty!
Jordan wasn’t playing that well anyway. Adam would be smart to take Rachel to the final as she has made tons of enemies. Adam really flew under the radar. It’s a good thing he was able to pull off that HOH win.
Jordan and Jeff seemed very likeable at first; however, became very arrogant and entitled. Now Jeff is just a bully. Would like to see Porsche win. Rachel played hard and I would like to like her, but she needs way too much medication.
I want to see Rachel win, she has played her heart out despite being on the block so many times. I also like Adam, he has let others take him this far but still deserves a shot. I like his character.
So Rachel or Adam play your hearts out and may the best man/women win!!!!!
Porsche REALLY benefited from the golden key. The vets gave it to her without realizing how good she would be in these competitions. She hasn’t been perfect, but she has won 2nd place so many times, and with so great competitors out of the house she has a great shot of reaching the final 2.
I think the Shelly fiasco really undid Jordo and she never really recovered from that “trauma”. Plus her heart just wasn’t in it this year for herself. She wanted Jeff to get a second shot at winning and when he left, her passion for the game left too.
But I firmly believe had it not been for Jordo, Rachel would have not had a shot at the final because she would have been evicted weeks ago. And Jordo wouldn’t have made it these last 3 weeks without Rachel too. They did make a good team. A better team than their male counterparts gave them.
In regards to Shelly, she was my newbie fave this year but didn’t like how the whole split from team J&J went down because she did it too early. Had she not been too premature she may very well still be in the house. And I think she knows it.
Another fantastic year of BB is almost over and the BB withdrawl will commence.
Bring it on !!! Not sure who I like the most to win at this point. Yes, send poor sad Jordon to the jury house. Last night she went to her bed early while the rest played cards and talked all evening.
Adam and Porsche are coming on strong at the end of the game – we’ll see if one of them can end Rachels chances.
I HOPE THAT PORSCHE WINS. HOWEVER, I GET A LITTLE PEED OFF THAT BB STARTS SO LATE IN THE SUMMER THAT THER’S NOT ENOUGH TIME ALLOWED FOR THE SHOW, WITHOUT DOUBLE EVICTIONS, ETC. EVERY YEAR THEY ARE ALWAYS IN A RUSH TO END IT SO THE FALL SEASON CAN START. NEXT YEAR START THE SHOW IN JUN E AND QUIT HURRYING IT ALONG.
Guess the show tonight will be delayed due to President is getting ready to speak – they’re saying something about a new security threat.

All good! Rachel is HOH. I don’t have the live feeds but there is talk that Porsche and Adam are really close and I suspect they had a deal all along.
At the beginning of the game Porsche got caught up in some major girl drama with Cassie (Cassie went after her), but that was squashed really fast because Cassie put a target on her back by getting close to Dom and fighting with Rachel when she came to Porsche’s defense.
I think this scared Porsche and why she chose to keep a download. As her friendship with Adam grew I also think she emulated his game.
She was also the 2nd golden key recipient so she was able to breathe and figure out how to navigate herself with the key players. Served her good!
I think she started winning only when the stronger players were gone!
Even Jordan couldn’t win when the players dwindled. I think at the end she was ready to go because she was ashamed she couldn’t win a comp AND these were all the players
she kept calling WEAK and didn’t deserve to me there!
Poor thing!
Jordan and Brendon did act like self-entitled brats this season.
Is Adam a big floater? I am not sure. He won his own and many POVs and always voted pertaining to his word or best for his game.
I always thought it was funny how people accused him of being a floater and horrible player (mostly Kahlia and Dani) because he wasn’t going to vote with them that week! I think Adam got a kick of being a ‘wild card voter.’
I honestly think Kahlia just wanted to win HOH because she LOVED that room! Also, she can have all her own snacks!
Rachel, she deserves to win. She really deserves it. Always a target but somehow manages!

I don’t have to listen to Kalia’s mouth anymore — just sooo happy Kalia left…– Best move of the game. Wanted to celebrate! She did nothing but eat and ramble on and on … AND CRY!!!! Don’t mind the last 3 at all. My choice for winner is Rachel, even thought I never thought I’d say that.
One more thing, Jeff is my favorite player. Everyone that says Jeff is a bully, you’re crazy. All he did was speak his mind, not bully anyone. He is a straight shooter and people didn’t like that, they wanted him to be a liar and cheat like the rest of them.
Rachel wins HOH – 1st. stage and now it’s up to Adam or Porsche to take the next.

RC – re. 2nd. stage – no one knows for sure when they’ll have it – probably will be taped & shown on finale. Rachel will compete w/winner of #2 and they’ll show that and eviction on live finale. Yes only one show left.

at this point, i don’t care who wins. i am sooo glad that three faced, lying excuse for a woman, shelly doesn’t have a chance and i hope she doesn’t get america’s vote for the money. she doesn’t deserve a damn thing!
I never thought I would be rooting for Rachel but she was the best competitor and she deserves to win.
I think Shelly was self delusional. She lied all the time and for some reason she thinks she didn’t. I don’t hate her but she is a liar. I don’t want jordan adam or portia to win because the did nothing
