America’s headache sweetheart Kate Gosselin, who graces the cover of People magazine in an interview in which she fears for the future of her eight children now that her reality show on TLC has been cancelled, is now receiving some choice words from her ex-husband Jon Gosselin.
After Kate revealed to the world that she was scared for the well-being of her family, her former punching bag door mat media whore cradle robber now normal ex-husband doled out some tough love, reminding the trained nurse (What? She didn’t go to school to be a fame-grubbing reality star?) that “[r]eality TV is not a career.” He urges his one time love to “[g]et back to a normal life — a simple life. Provide for your family.”
Jon continues, giving some positive support to Kate (although not the kind she’s looking for as it doesn’t involve paparazzi, networks, or a magazine spread). He says, “Things will work out the way they should work out. Obviously there are families out there that have several kids – people work normal jobs and things work out. Everything is possible.”
Jon, who became tabloid fodder for dating girls half his age while hosting Vegas parties and hanging with Lindsay Lohan’s dad, reveals he is happy with his simple life, stating, “I go to work every day and provide for my family. I spend time with my kids – spend time on the weekends. I spend time with the girlfriend I’ve had for over a year now. And enjoy a normal lifestyle.”
As for Kate’s worries that she won’t be able to provide for her kids in the manner in which she’s they’ve become accustomed, Jon reminds her, “I don’t have a farm on 24 acres and the kids seem to have a great time at my house.” While a court order prohibits him from going into detail about support payments and visitation, Jon can divulge that he sees his children a lot while continuing to pay child support.
I’m sure that support is very helpful to Kate, as reports recently surfaced (after her dire People cover story) that she had bought herself quite the little toy. As soon as the People story broke, media outlets were reporting that Kate had purchased a sweet new ride…a new two-seater $50,000+ Audi TT to be exact. Um, no. She got that practical vehicle months ago when she thought the money would roll in forever her show was safe.
To all the haters, Kate fires back, “I bought this car used in April, six months ago. The paparazzi that are following me as we speak chose not to photograph it until after my show was cancelled and make a big deal out of it. I love the tabloid media!” The ol’ ‘blame it on the paparazzi’ gag. Because they are smart enough to predict that they shouldn’t photograph your new car because soon you’ll lose your sweet TV gig and pics of this car will triple…that’s exactly what happened. Priceless.
As for Jon’s advice, Kate doesn’t have much to say. “I don’t really have anything to say about Jon’s comments because he doesn’t live my life. I don’t listen to anything he has to say.” And what a life it is, Kate. Gracious!
WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON REGARDING JON AND KATE? DO YOU THINK SHE’S STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY AS MUCH AS SHE SAYS SHE IS IN INTERVIEWS? MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON HER NEW RIDE?
PLEASE NO NO NO! Let’s face it this woman is on TV because everyone wants to see just how badly she can treat someone and she continues to get away with it!!! She brings rude to a level of shame that should not be rewarded or tolerated anymore! Please no more Kate!

Please make Kate go away. Her ego is too large for the world. Jons advice is practical,but she is a diva now and cannot give it up. She is yet another talentless ho we have to put up with like Kartrashian. If I only had a magic wand.
I am floored that Kate is playing the victim, please! She brought all of her woes onto herself becoming self-absorbed and overcome with her “fame”. What did she do? She gave birth to a litter, not the only one, I might add, to do so. Mrs. Dionne gave birth to quints in the 30′s and with no fertility drugs. Everyone accused the parents of selling them out and giving them a circus-like life with hordes of people gawking at them through glass ,as they tried to go through their daily lives. Why is Kate any different?
She says that she can’t struggle alone with “no job”? All the while living in a mansion, collecting millions of dollars for royalities, TV, personal appearances you name it. She should come back to earth and be a mom again and not some psuedo celebrity. A K-Mart Angelie Jolie, to whom Kate has had the audacity to compare herself to. Be a mom and take care of those children! Who knows what damage has already been caused?
I am shocked and saddened by how judgmental and mean people can be. You do not live her life, or his. So easy to look in through a window and point fingers but the real reason people like to do so is because they have darkness within themselves. Just because you put others down does not mean that you are better than them. I really believe that every person who has an ugly thing to say would jump at the chance to reap financial rewards if given the option. If you have that much hate for someone you don’t even know, you might want to go about fixing it before it ruins you… because we all know it is not Kate or Jon you are hating.
This self entitled horrible woman was banned from my TV long ago, after I saw the video of her refusing to give her thirsty kids water while drinking bottled water in front of them.
When the kids were born, she used government resources, her community and churches (faking being the devoted Christian) seeking donations and childcare help. She took advantage of those who gave generously of themselves, including family and former friends, often ungraciously complaining when something wasn’t exactly as she wanted. She took full credit for the best selling first book she DIDN”T AUTHOR (it was in fact, written by her friend Beth). When the show was at the height of its popularity, she had staff to help around the house/ with the kids (even though conveniently it wasn’t shown on camera) She lied about the state of her marriage, having just renewed vows on the show to get a free Hawaii vacation but shortly thereafter, kicking Jon out of the house to live above the garage (TLC didn’t capture any of that either – so much for reality TV!!). She lies constantly to any media outlet who will listen, whining about how she desperately needs money “for the kids” when actually she’s saved a small fortune over the years
The only priority in Kate’s life is Kate – NOT her kids. Somewhere along the way, she turned into a stage mom and the eight became the means to support her in the lifestyle to which SHE has become accustomed. She has been seen over and over in footage complaining and only worrying about herself vs. being a patient, loving, and giving mom.

Kate, hot? Evidently you haven’t seen the photo of her with her wrinkly, sagging stretch marked stomach. Somehow I don’t think it would have mattered if Kate was a super model, Jon would still be thanking his lucky stars today that he’s no longer married to that shrew!

Jon voluntarily quit the TLC show, no longer wanting he or his kids to be part of the limelight. There was a TLC lawsuit that was later settled.
You know if Jon wasn’t paying child support, Kate would be publicly slamming him up and down, using the opportunity for people to pity her.
To the person who responded that we are being mean spirited and judgemental towards someone we don’t know. Ditto. People are only responding to negative human qualities being showcased and rewarded. It does not mean we are harboring a secret darkness, or a desire to be like reality show stars.

@55- When you become a reality TV participant — you present your “life” to millions of people worldwide, who then begin to “live” your life in effect by seeing it played out in front of them each week.
Therefore, do not ask these same people “not” to judge. Because guaranteed — they will. And as far as secretly wanting to emulate Kate Gosselin’s fortune and fame by popping out 8 kids and then using them as little mini ATM machines? Personally speaking? Um, no.
Therefore, so much for being “jealous” of this woman, or anything she represents.
