When it rains, it pours for Kate Gosselin!
Hot on the heels of her reality show, Kate Plus 8 being canceled and publicly begging for TV work, a new report has emerged claiming the eight Gosselin kids like hanging out with their father, Jon Gosselin in his little apartment much more than they enjoy Kate and her massive sprawling mansion!
“Kate is in such a bad mood all of the time now that she doesn’t have a job and she’s taking it out on the kids,” Jon a source discloses. “The kids love going to Jon’s place because everyone is in such a great mood!” Apparently she’ having reality TV camera withdraw or something!
After spending years making America believe Jon was a negligent parent who was distant from his kids and recently implying that he was “mediocre,” even telling the Today Show that she “waits for their” call because the kids beg to come home when visiting their dad, it seems Kate is actually crappy parent! “She’s always irritated and screaming at the kids for every little thing. It’s gotten really bad and the kids walk on eggshells when they come home from school.”
The source goes onto describe “The kids are actually begging to stay longer and they say things like ‘mommy is so mean’. It’s driving Kate crazy!”
In addition to the above report, the Huffington Post is also reporting that Kate is frustrated at the lack of TV offers! Because, you know, getting a normal 9 – 5 is completely out of the question since after all – she is entitled to be on television forever.
“She has approached many different networks, including pitching a travel show idea to her old network, TLC, but so far no one has said yes,” a source said. “She assumed that given her fame, producers and networks would be knocking her over with job offers and is, to say the least, very surprised that she hasn’t received a single one.”

I must agree these kids never smile. They do look very depress and unhappy. The mother, children and father all need to be in therapy. Where are the kids grandparents. These kids need help.The mother underestimate tv. Hollywood is always looking for the next big star. People stop watching the show and that’s a fact, because of her attitude. She needs to move on. Kate was always, always a lowsy mother and a lowsy wife. Back in the day, when the kids were small, rarely did you see this woman do anything in a nurturing way to get close to her kids, it was always fake drama created for the camera’s. I feel for those kids. Kate’s biggest mistake was taking her husband out of the equation, that guy was a very very good father.

The “source” speaks of Kate’s “fame”..sorry for all the little quotation marks..but anyway..Kate IS famous for WANTING to be a diva..when clearly, she is NOT. My heart truly breaks for these kids. I fear all the money that has been legally set aside for college funds may,instead, go towards therapist fees..

Has anyone ever seen her kiss and hug or tickle, or laugh, or play with her kids? I’ve seen her lose it when they got their hands dirty, or left a shoe on the floor. She needs parenting classes, therapy and a job. Kids need therapy, love, attention, and laughter. The kids just always seem so frightened and sad.
Kate is a lonely, miserable, shrew….would you want to work with her. Kate resents her mother because she was fifteen in high school and got pregnant with her sister. Her mother was still in high school and at seventeen got pregnant with Kate (crazy bitch) that is why she resents her parents and no communication at all.
Her mother ended up being pregnant twice in high school…..go figure

She’s finally seeing how hard it is to actually parent, without a bunch of people helping her for the reality show. I wonder why in gods name did she decide to have 8 kids in the first place? Now she has to raise these 8 kids without that money coming in and just her and her bootyguard/lover (lololololo). I’m really scared that Kate is going to go off the deep end pretty soon because she has no job, the money is fast drying up and she needs to provide for 8 kids. It turned out that she was the nasty parent.
What is new? The kids always look unhappy with her. Kate “Meltdown” Gosselin has consistently demonstrated that she’s impatient, over controlling, and narcissistic. If something is not up to her standards, then she complains and throws a hissy fit. She is hardly the role model of a loving, nurturing mother and soon she’ll be worse because she’ll resent having to actually WORK to support them.
Once they grow up and get wise to the fact that she used them to finance her bank account, they’ll tell her to stick it where the sun don’t shine. It would serve her right if they went to live with Jon and she had to start paying him child support!!
Sally you have a very strange sense of humor if Khate’s behavior makes you laugh. “The constant degrading and belittling of Jon was the best part”. Since when is it funny to degrade and belittle another human being, much less the one you are married to and who is the father of your children? The woman is a shrew and her show was cancelled because that had been patently obvious since about the second season of J&K+8. We were forced to endure her for much longer than any of us wanted to and she should consider herself very fortunate indeed that she got away with as long as she did. Enough already! The woman needs to go away forever.
The happiest day of these kids’ lives will be when each of them turns 18 and can take control of whatever money was (hopefully) socked away for them. Of course, knowing Kate and her expensive tastes, I’m sure if it isn’t in a trust those accounts will be cleaned out well before then.
So sad for these kids. The older they get, the more they’re going to understand what their mother put them through to make a fast buck. Jon wanted them off TV 2 years ago and since then the kids have had some serious problems in school. As soon as that happened, a good mother would have done whatever she could to protect their privacy and not blab about it on every talk show that would have her.
She’s a user and a grifter.
@ella 61, Yes maybe I do have a strange sense of humor. I think it’s funny when two fucking idiots pay someone thousands of dollars to get knocked up and then poop out 8 kids they can’t afford. I like to watch idiots get what they deserve. Let it be a lesson and a warning to every other idiot out there that spends their last dime on fertility treatments.

This woman had the fortitude and desire to bring 8 beautiful kids into this world……but somehow thought the world would adore them and shower them with riches and rainbows…….She never stopped to think that at the end of the day, SHE would have to love them, care for them and be responsible for them. Shame on her and God bless those kids…I guarantee that the plastic surgery, tanning, nails, hair, makeup and PR poeple have eaten up any money that they will need for THERAPY, let alone college. we will forever hear from the Gosselins…..shame it will probably only be from Kate. This world is F’d up!
If you watched the show and followed the bitch, you’d know she banished Jon to the garage apartment and kicked him under the bus. You’d have also seen him bathing, diapering, feeding, and minding the littles AFTER he came home from work.

I actually jumped for joy when I found out her show had been cancelled. The kids need to be taken from her and given to Jon. Do a Jon plus 8. At least he is alot nicer and more calm with the kids than she is.
I think it’s sickening and infuriating that Kate doesn’t even like children and she ended up with 8 of them! Does this hateful woman know how INCREDIBLY blessed she is? I have friends struggling with infertility who would give everything in the world to be parents just once. Kate Gosselin is a disgusting, despicable creature and my heart goes out to the children who have to live with her. I hope that one day Jon takes her to court and removes them from her clutches.
I always say this: Kate dumped Jon about 6 months before he was “caught” with the girl leaving the bar. Her brother and sister in law spoke about it in an interview. She had told Jon she “didn’t want to be married any more”
She did him a favor and it seems he has risen above the reality show fame trap and just gone back to work. He was more of a caregiver than Kate to the kids.
I had to stop watching the because of the way she treated Jon as the show gained popularity. She will go away eventually.

I’m positive that the kid’s teachers or school administrators are well aware of what Kate has done to them, and have strongly suggested therapy. Didn’t 2 of them get expelled? There’s clearly a problem here.
To those of you who don’t understand what’s wrong with Kate looking for a job–what’s wrong is that she’ll ONLY accept work if it’s on TV or in showbiz. Because she deserves it. She’s a star, don’t you know?
I don’t give a damn who Kate might “think” she is, but if she’s abusing those kids in any way (yes, constant yelling fits and freaking out counts as abuse too), Child Protective Services in PA — should be monitoring her ass. Period. Especially if it’s gotten to the point where the kids don’t even want to come home.
The fact that she generally spends more time shopping and on a frickin’ tanning bed than being with her kids, to me, speaks volumes. And again, no matter how much of a “pseudo-celebrity” she thinks she is.
I can just see all the tell-all books being penned by these kids as young adults — in the not so distant future. Shame.

Of course no one wants to hire her. What if somebody eats a slice of pizza or something? All hell would break loose.
I predict most of those kids will be living with Jon when they get old enough to make the choice themselves. Older kids DO get to have a say in which parent they live with.
It’s funny if you watch the old shows, she never really did anything. She just stood at her command center, the kitchen and barked orders. Jon take this one for a diaper change, put them in these clothes, takes these for a bath. Meanwhile a team of volunteers that came in regularly was in the background, (caught on camera a few times) doing all the laundry, work etc. Jon and the volunteers did everything. She pretended to cook a few times, ooooh throw everything in a crock pot, big deal. While she served her kids crackers and grapes, cheese. Slaved for hours on that. And you can bet they all were really eating Craft Services there for the crew, most days, so she really never cooked either, except when they were “filming” her cooking. .
I’m still wondering how she thought she would support them when she was jumping thru hurdles to conceive them.
also, not that i’m a fan of either…but I’ve often thought of how the public would have reacted if it was jon talking down and being condecending with a few love taps thrown in there to kate and not the other way around.
Kate Gosselin has recently spoken to Matt Lauer that she vows to return to TV. She says that she’s concerned for her viewers, that they may be “devastated” and that they must feel as though they’re losing a next-door neighbor, now that her show has been cancelled. She’s cried to the media that she’s scared how she’s going to provide for her kids, yet she has been seen recently driving a brand new sports car. She has stated that she does not want a mediocre life for her kids (i.e. the life they led before the fame and fortune.) YES, I agree. Seems she’s used to all the publicity and $$, not wanting to do for herself. Sound familiar? It’s half the darn country! Why would someone want to educate themselves and make something for themselves when they can be on some reality show ruining the upbringing and childhood of your children? Now, that would not be fair, would it? Not feeling sorry, here! Glad that the children might find some NORMALCY now!!
Kate is a mess & she’s not only making herself looking dumb/stupid – she’s making the children feel like they should bow down to her because she’s Kate. Some one should offer Jon a bigger space for living quarters where he can have the kids & then Kate can go “ho” herself around – doubt if she’s make it that way either. Who wants her? Wow. It’s so hard to read all of these terrible comments about a mother of 8 children who is trying to live her life just like the rest of us. Do you all have children?? I have 3 & I have to get on to them daily, almost hourly! From day 1, Kate was a great mom & worked very hard to manage the household. Yes, she was disrespectful to Jon at times, but he was also very passive & would not step up & lead his family. Speaking from experience, affairs are devastating, even without 8 children & cameras. Give her a break. She’ll pick herself up & move on!
Her 15 minute of fame is finally over. I watch this show from the start. Jon was a great father & husband. There is a double standard because if he would have treated her like he would have been acused of abuse. She was an abusive wife. He did go alittle crazy when he first left but it was a reaction to finally getting away from her nastiness. I stopped watching because I wanted it to be canceled because she did not deserve the positive things she gained from it. The media without even knowing Jon crucified him nightly. I am glad she is off. I ‘d watch him if he came back on!
Kate is pissed off because she lost her TLC paycheck along with all of the freebies, perks, and attention that allowed her to live a lavish lifestyle of first class travel, spa treatments, private trainers, housekeepers, nannies, etc. She also had the luxury of solo trips to NYC, LA, Miami, etc for shopping and more “stah” living. Welcome to the world of a mediocre life.
I do not know the state of her finances but I would bet my healthy 401K that there is no way she saved enough to sustain HER lifestyle. I do not know her. I never watched the show. I base all of my opinions on her words and actions during interviews.
I am so sorry Kate, you brought it all on yourself – however, as usual the kids (and their kids) are the ones who will really suffer. Good luck to the children and their future spouses.
I for one am simply glad that Kate Gosselin is no more.Let her stay home/get a regular job, move into a more affordable house, who needs 26 acres if you are not a farmer?Her kids would be better off with less STUFF and less Vacations. Whatever happened to kids who actually go to school everyday, do homework,play sports etc.?Kate could actually attend school functions, anyway I just hope she is gone for good.
