For those of you that believed the firing of certain Housewives meant the next season of Real Housewives of New York would feature less arguing, cattiness and back-stabbing, you may be out of luck! I mean they kept Ramona Singer on their payroll after all, and allegedly doubled her salary!
The NY Daily News is claiming feuding has already begun amongst the ladies, despite the addition of three new cast members who were supposed to bring a different atmosphere to one of the most popular series in the Housewives franchise. While insiders promise the show will be “totally different than last season,” that doesn’t appear to be the case! Suspected new Housewives Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson and Aviva Drescher apparently wasted no time in choosing sides and waging battles!
With the foisting of veteran Housewives Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon an insider is claiming that the remaining originals Ramona, LuAnn de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan have almost immediately started forming rivalries as well as new alliances with the newbies. Is this Survivor or Housewives — I’m confused?
“It’s Sonja, LuAnn and Heather vs. Aviva and Ramona,” the source reveals. “LuAnn and Sonja are now the queen bees of the show.” Does this mean an end to the dreaded (re: inappropriate and immature) Ramonja!?
Ramona and Aviva were friends prior to filming with some reports saying Ramona brought her into the show. Avivia’s previous relationship with Pinot have led her to take a “more neutral” stance in forming relationships with her other cast mates. Better watch out Aviva or your first season may be your last (see: Barshop, Cindy)!
A source reveals that one of the new ladies planned a cast-wide trip to London and everyone was included except Pinot! “Everyone was invited but Ramona,” says the source, adding that Ramona may have been excluded because she is getting “the diva-bitch edit this season.”
“Ramona is still a troublemaker,” says the source. “She delivers drama big time” in the upcoming season.
So, while the other Housewives were abroad celebrating freedom from Ramona Singer Pinot Grigio, Ramona soothed her hurt by throwing herself a “raucous” birthday lunch at Manhattan’s Bar Italia. “She had 24 of her closest friends there and did not seem to miss the other housewives one bit,” a guest reported. “So excited! Headed to my birthday luncheon at Bar Italia with 20 of my best girlfriends!!” Ramona Tweeted.
Oddly not included in the guest list was former blonde bestie Sonja – even though the two have birthdays close together! Sources tell the NY Daily News that there is now “tension” between the former besties.
I also noticed neither lady issued a Happy Birthday Tweet! Photos of the party from Ramona’s Twitter are below – noticeably absent are members of the Housewives cast! Noticeably present – some very scary plastic surgery!
Ramona’s party was not without her product promotions as her real friends surprised her with a pinot grigio themed cake. “We had it done by Heather Barranco Dreamcakes. It had an edible bottle of Ramona’s label of pinot and edible pieces from her True Faith jewelry line, all made of out hard sugar. The cake looked and tasted great.” It is pretty amazing!
After guests were forced to imbibe Pinot’s wine for the afternoon Turtle Time came out in full-force as everyone hit the dance floor to relive the glory days of Studio 54. “Ramona had a blast,” says the insider to Wetpaint. “We all did. We spent the afternoon eating, drinking and getting down on the dance floor!”
Did the party also feature a pinot grigio fountain? Because I’m pretty sure that’s all Ramona really wanted for her birthday! A photo of Ramona with her namesake cake and her wine is below. It’s Pinot-licious! If you’re into that sort of thing…

Omg i kinda feel bad for ramona, now that alex is gone she has no one to help her against luanne and these other new women, and worst sonja not her friend? After 20 years?!!! Season 5 hurry!!!!!

The photo from Ramona’s party is so funny. They all have the #4 blond hair color!! Also, I have been watching the Housewives since the beginning. The show used to be about lives of women, their silly money spending ways, their marriages, their lunches and get togethers. Now, the shows are all about women fighting. Maybe this is what Andy Cohen, a gay man thinks of women. I have never had a fight with a female friend and if there is a small conflict I can talk about it with my friend and we resolve it without screaming at each other. These shows have become real garbage. Now, they are creating “new drama” ahead of the NY season. Give me a break Andy!! we are not buying this any more.

Okay, WHY does Ramona continuously wear dresses that seem to ENHANCE her little pooch? It’s not big, and she has a fantastic figure, but every time I see her, all I see is gut.

someone needs to stage a bleach intervention with Ramona and her group. Ramona will bring the crazy for sure because no matter how much she toots her horn about being a business woman, she’s a few cards short of a deck and her alcahol problem just shines a light on it.
What is it with all of these housewives wearing the one shoulder Wilma Flintstone dresses? I hate them. One stylists, one cookie cutter look. Boring!

It’s ALL staged! “Fake” a lot of the backgrounds even are! And if a scene goes awry they re-shoot it! That said: I can’t help it, I love to watch most RHO shows!! I miss the good ole Ramona and Jill days! Hate the new Sonja crotch shot days! They should have taken the high road and dumped Luann and Sonja. Kept Jill, Kelly and Cindy! Cindy was funny.. She was just getting the feel for it and she’s axed? Glad she’s a self made very RICH woman already! Unless Mario’s going to dump Ramona and Bravo knows it, and wants to capitalize on the PAIN as they do so well? I don’t see why they kept her? This show is just doing Ramona more harm by the Season! She’s not a strong or tough girl! She seems to need a strong woman to lead her!! So far Bravos not sending her the right ones! These are NOT digs at Ramona either! Bravo’s using her, yes they use everyone! But, this seems cruel! Good thing she’s making a lot of cash for it. She’ll need it for therapy!
Trying not to sound insulting isn’t easy. But, the woman next to Ramona in the Birthday pic is either her Sister and their eyes are just “That way” or she went to the same Dr. to have hers done. They look so much alike!!!

wow another drunk to watch make a fool of herself yet again for another year so fun NOT!!! thought she was supposed to be teaching young women something well that is NOT what i want my young women how to be guess i was right in tuning out of this show !!
Ramona is a little whirlwind of activity. Yes, she makes LuAnn squirm. I like that part. The fact that they brought LuAnn back is a mystery to me. If the firings were because the fired housewives were mean, then why wasn’t LuAnn included. She’s the meanest of all.
I’ll miss Alex. She was loyal and honest, a trait we don’t see much of on this show.
So, this new bunch is picking “sides,” eh? That should be interesting.
All this constant fighting makes me too tired to watch.
