With the February 20 premiere of the 4th season of Basketball Wives just weeks away, here’s to hoping VH1 is still filming as the drama rages on for the show’s stars!
As it’s been widely reported, former BFFs Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams are currently on the outs! It appears poor Jen might be out of the “circle” for good after Evelyn fired off a number of nasty tweets to her former bestie.
So what set Evelyn off? Just Jen’s recent comments that Evelyn was jelly of her friendship with Atlanta housewife Nene Leakes.
First, Evelyn tweeted: “So @iamjennifer thinks I’m MADD that’s she’s hanging out with @NeNeLeakes ??? Bitch pls! Interview coming soon…. #ItsOnContacts.” Evelyn then accused Jen of “running her mouth” to the press to remain relevant and accused her of being “insecure.” Yikes. Below are more of her tweets -
Yes, Evelyn’s fiance Chad Ochocinco had to step in and be the voice of reason. Not sure what this says about this union when ‘Ochocinco’ is the level headed one in the relationship!

Moving on to Vanessa Bryant, who has now — sadly for us but good for her — turned down the offer to appear on Basketball Wives LA.

If you recall, TMZ broke the news days ago that the producers of the show were putting together a very lucrative offer for her to join the cast. Well it seems Vanessa, who is said to have received $75 million in her recent divorce from Kobe Bryant, realized she has nothing to gain by aspiring to be the next Shaunie O’Neal!
According to the report by The Insider, a source with knowledge of the situation said, “No disrespect to the other ladies but ‘Basketball Wives’ just isn’t Vanessa’s style.”

@Noelle- There is nothing ridiculous about colored contacts, people wear them as a fashion accessory, like eye shadow. It’s no more ridiculous than Evelyn wearing her weave to try to have “white girl” hair, IMO (Evelyn’s words, not mine.).

First of all Jenn is pretty with or without the contacts there’s nothing wrong with enhancing your looks. Just like many of you who wear padded bras to enhance your breast or wear body suits to help you suck in that GUT that you have acquired over the years (men included). We all do something to try and spice ourselves up a little and hers just happen to be contacts and to me she’s beautiful with them.

Jenn’s colored contacts could be considered an “accessory” if she wore them sometimes. She wears them EVERYDAY, which makes her natural eye color an accessory. It’s called self-hatred. It’s an unfortunate part of our history.
