Basketball Wives Cast Mate Kenya Bell Sued For Spousal Support

It was bound to happen, ladies; you start raking in the dough and eventually your ex-husband will come knocking and want some. Basketball Wives cast member Kenya Bell is feeling the sting of her newfound independent paycheck now that her ex-husband, basketball player Charlie Bell is demanding spousal support.

See, while Charlie makes a modest $100k playing basketball in Italy, it’s nowhere near the lifestyle he was accustomed to while playing for the Golden State Warriors, and it also doesn’t touch Kenya’s alleged reality star salary of $300k for her first season of Basketball Wives (a figure she denies).

It’s much more likely that this is just mindgames between the couple; Charlie admits he has plenty of savings in the bank (good for him for beating the odds and not being a bankrupt athlete) but he, like Gregg Leakes and Bob Whitfield and plenty of other reality husbands, feel responsible for Kenya’s casting on the show and her newfound success and “fame.” So, naturally, he wants a piece of the pie.

Kenya has retaliated saying she wants a portion of his savings account. Will these two crazy kids just get back together and work it out!?

And for those of you thinking that that petition to remove the show worked, it didn’t! The Inquisitr reports that the show is already filming its fifth season.
