I believe that in response to Honey Boo Boo being an example of the dumbing down of our country, it was Bryan who replied that Twitter was actually even worse. Truer words, Bryan, truer words. Now Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline Manzo has come under fire on the social media site.
Caroline was a recent co-host on Anderson Live and she shared her experiences of getting death threats in the Twitterverse from some pretty rabid fans. Seriously? Don't people realize that they don't actually know the stars of these shows? I highly doubt many of them would give any of us a second thought. Not that they aren't decent people, but they've got their own stuff to worry about! Anyhoo, some Caroline haters have been sending her less than stellar messages via Twitter, and she wants to remind us all that–breaking news!–it's just a television show!

Telling Anderson that some fans take it too far, Caroline reminds viewers, "Listen to me, don’t take it so serious. It’s a show. We don’t need death threats … It’s just a television show. I don’t take it that seriously. I don’t wish bad on anyone."
Caroline feels badly for her behavior last season when she was perceived as a major bully. She says, “You know what it is? You’re gonna survive it and then when you look at yourself and say, ‘God, I acted so foolishly.’ Over what? It’s not worth it."
She continues, “I at least know how I feel and the past is where I want it to be. It’s in the past. I feel good about [this season] and I’m going in with a very positive attitude and you know, Caroline is back!”
While Caroline doesn't think she'll ever get back to the friendship she once had with Teresa Giudice, she is hopeful that the pair can at least be civil going forward. Caroline shares, “I don’t know if we could go back to where it was, but I’d certainly like to be able to get into, ‘How’s the kids? How’s everything?’ Civil. We can be civil, certainly. But if it will go back to where it was, that’s doubtful.”
Anyone want to take bets on how long this will last?
