My good gracious!  Another Kardashian post so close to Christmas?  I must be on the naughty list this year.  I'll be honest, I'd rather receive a lump of coal than to have to pontificate on this fake family during the holidays.  I do it for you, dear readers.  You mean more to me than my disdain for this crowd.  Isn't that what Christmas is all about?  You're welcome.  😉

In today's news, Kris Jenner is trying to maintain her now faux marriage to husband Bruce despite a ridiculous amount of divorce rumors circulating in the media.  Also, sources are claiming that Nick Cannon was also a victim of Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape.  I can't wait to hear the chain of information that led him to this conclusion!

Finally, Bruce is opening up to the media about his ties to Newtown, Connecticut and the Sandy Hook murders.  While typing that makes me want to vomit (let this community grieve without reality television intervention!), it's what he's talking about now.  I used to like you, Bruce, but I've lost all respect if you're trying to maintain relevancy in light of this horrific event.  Sidebar, and this has nothing to do with this blog, but from here on out (sorry for the soapbox) will we please refer to the Sandy Hook shootings as a mass murder and the man that took those innocent lives (I won't give his name more credence here) as a murderer?  I read a compelling article the other day that noted in school shootings the public regresses to words like "shooter" and "victims" instead of using "murderer" and "slain" or "dead" in these types of tragedies.  If someone killed a gas station attendant, we'd call it a murder, why don't we say that now?  Off my soapbox and onto the Kardashian kraziness.  I taught first grade for several years, so I am a tad raw at the moment…as no doubt you are.

Moving along (so, so sorry for the rant!), Kris is determined to make sure that her failing marriage doesn't drown the empire she's created around her children (notice I don't say the empire created FOR her children).  What won't this woman do?

According to Radar Online, Kris will do whatever it takes to maintain a united family front in the media.  A source tells the site, “Kris and Bruce are all but over. They have grown apart and their relationship is all about business these days rather than love or romance. They’ve built a brand together though, and that’s very profitable for both of them, not to mention the amount of valuable assets and business ventures they have together.”

The insider reveals that couple of more than twenty-one years is flailing, but the family matriarch would never let it play out in "her" reality, explaining, “There’s no way Kris is going to go through with a divorce right now, despite the problems they are having. She’s determined to keep up the façade of a happy marriage at all costs. Showbiz and her career come way before any chance of divorce."

Kris is clearly teaching daughter Kim well, because MStarz is all about Kim drama.  Although she's not painted in a positive light, her name is still in the media, and we all know that makes Kim's momager beyond proud.  The site claims that Mariah Carey's husband called it quits on a relationship with Kimmie thanks to her infamous sex tape.   Discussing the demise of his time with the reality star, Nick Cannon spoke to Howard Stern and admitted, "This was my issue. We talked about this tape…And she told me there was no tape. If she might have been honest with me I might have tried to hold her down and be like 'That was before me' because she is a great girl. She's actually one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. But the fact that she lied and told me that there was no tape?…And I still think she might have even had a part to play with it."

Oh Nick, I applaud your efforts to be a gentleman while trying to get your name in the press about a very old sex tape.  Seriously?  Can we all just agree that Mariah is thrilled that Kim lied to you?  You're much better off, my friend!
Furthermore, and in the news about which I don't want to write, Bruce is telling Us Weekly about growing up mere miles from Newtown, Connecticut.  Bruce, I love your immobile face, but now is not the time to speak of your ties to that community.  He tells the magazine's site that he grew up two miles from Sandy Hook Elementary School where his younger sister attended kindergarten.  He shares, "Not in a million years would you ever think that this quiet little town would have such a terrible, terrible tragedy happen there. I mean, I woke up and turned on the news, and they were saying this was happening…you just can't believe it," adding, "I just get mad inside at humanity sometimes, and how a twisted mind can be so evil."

Please, please, please, don't get me wrong.  I don't for a second doubt Bruce's sincerity or heartache.  I just think he needs to let those families have their time without throwing in a Kardashian connection to their tragedy.  If you think I'm wrong, please sound off in the comments.  I welcome and respect your input.  I just think that Bruce could have sent his condolences without making himself a part of it.  Maybe his ties to the community will help…who knows anymore?
