Can Big Brother 15 get any worse? Note to CBS: This is NOT a challenge!

Big Brother  houseguests  Amanda Zuckerman,  GinaMarie Zimmerman, Aaryn Gries, and Spencer Clawson (just to name a few) have all uttered reprehensible remarks on the uncensored live feeds. CBS has aired some of the comments but not all – not even close to all or even the worst of the worst.

Of course, this is not new information, but the fact that Spencer's recent live feed comments (meant to be a joke) about child p*rnography have prompted police action is.

Spencer's disgusting "joke" involved him pretending to be McCrae Olson. In an attempt to embarrass McCrae as much as possible, Spencer said, "I like to beat off to child p*rn. I love it. I love it when they're around three or four years old. My favorite ones are when you can tell they're in a basement."

Spencer's employer contacted local authorities as a result of the backlash:

Due to the volume of feedback Union Pacific has received from the public about Spencer Clawson's August 5 comments on the CBS reality show Big Brother 15, the company wants to reiterate that it has taken all the action it can under the Collective Bargaining Agreement until Mr. Clawson is released from the show. Mr. Clawson took an unpaid leave of absence to participate on Big Brother 15. Union Pacific has notified law enforcement of Mr. Clawson's August 5 comments.

Yesterday, Chief AJ Gary from the Conway Police Department told TMZ, "Due to the nature of the comments, our department moved quickly to look into the matter. At this time we haven't found that any criminal act was committed."

Big Brother 14  winner  Ian Terry shared his thoughts on the controversy surrounding Spencer. Ian tweeted, "Spencer was clearly being facetious."

"Various posters are discussing the incident without referencing that it was clearly a (bad) joke, which allows for it to mutate into something that it doesn't mean," added Ian. "I think a lot of people are making a big deal about this because Spencer is an overweight, middle-aged man. I can't imagine that if some young, attractive person made these jokes that we'd be accusing them of being a pedophile."

Um. Wow. I seriously want to cry. What is wrong with these people?

Big Brother is my favorite reality TV show – always the highlight of my summer – and I hate what these people are doing to its reputation. I feel an obligation to bring attention to this kind of news – cause, you know, I have a heart and I write for a reality TV blog – but ugh. I want my Big Brother back.

TELL US – YOUR THOUGHTS ON SPENCER'S JOKE? SHOULD CBS HAVE REMOVED ANYONE FROM THE HOUSE THIS SEASON? WHO?
