LeAnn Rimes Talks About “Parenting” Brandi Glanville’s Sons With Eddie Cibrian

When is LeAnn Rimes going to learn a lesson? I’m sure that she thought that her appearance on the ITV show Loose Women was a good look for her since she kept talking about how harmonious her home life is, but it always seems like a sensitivity chip is missing whenever she talks about her step children.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian’s sons have the love of three parental figures, but a lot of the time it seems like LeAnn thinks that she is the boys’ actual mother. I know that Brandi is a pretty polarizing character, but I cannot help feeling bad for her when LeAnn is constantly talking about “parenting” Brandi’s sons in the press, although Brandi has said they all get along well now.

Once again, I want to emphasize that I’m not just being a hater here. I really do think it’s great that those kids have so many loved ones, but I just think that LeAnn needs to watch what she says sometimes in these interviews. I’m sure that she takes on some parental duties with the boys, but it is not just she and Eddie who are involved in their lives.

LeAnn seems to forget that the boys have a mother who is also a part of raising them since she said, “My husband and I are a team and that’s how we have to approach parenting. They’ve always been super respectful of me. They are good to me.” It’s great that she and Eddie are on the same page when it comes to the children, but if she is a part of any parenting team, it is a three person team that includes their mother Brandi. It’s not fair to act like she is their sole motherly figure, especially in such a public forum.

LeAnn also talked about how it took the family a long time to gel: “My stepsons are nine and 13. They were two and six when I first met them. It was quite the adjustment. I think any blended family, it takes a while. Over the past year, year and a half, I feel like we’re finally settled in.” It’s definitely nice to know that everyone is comfortable around each other, I just can’t help feeling bad that Brandi is constantly excluded in these interviews. I know that there are a lot of people who don’t like Brandi, but it’s still not cool for LeeAnn to act like she is the mother to Brandi’s kids every chance she gets.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK THAT LEANN IS OUT OF LINE TO TALK ABOUT “PARENTING” SOMEONE ELSE’S KIDS?
