It is pretty clear that Luann de Lesseps is one of those girls who thinks they are having a wedding year instead of a wedding day. Everything and anything will be all about Lu’s wedding to Tom D’Agostino. This is the happiest I’ve ever seen her. Not that I actually know her, obviously, but I have been watching Real Housewives of New York from the beginning, so I feel like I do.
We all know Luann has been married before – hence the countess title, but she is just over the moon about her second wedding and she has no qualms when it comes to talking about how excited she is for the upcoming nuptials. Luann is so pumped for the big day that she actually plans to wear more than one outfit.

The Countess made an appearance on SiriusXM’s Wake Up with Taylor and she discussed her vision(s) for her wedding day apparel. Luann declared, “I’m actually doing a couple of wedding dresses because it’s a big occasion.”
So what does the future Mrs. D’Agostino envision? “I’m doing traditional to walk down the aisle – lace, not poofy. I’m not kind of a poofy person. I’m never a poofy person. [It will be] very fitted and lacy and at the same time a little sexy.”
This is Luann’s second marriage, so people have been wondering if her dress will be white. Luann explained her plan: “My thoughts are, ‘Why not wear white?’ I’m doing a little white, a little cream, a little blush and I’m switching it up because not only is it our wedding night, but it’s also Tom’s 50th birthday and it’s New Year’s Eve.”

I guess it makes sense to wear three dresses if it’s really like three special events rolled into one: a wedding, a birthday, and New Year’s Eve. It still sounds pretty excessive in my opinion, but the rationale actually makes sense to me, in an extravagant way that I could never imagine applying to my own life, of course.
Oh and in case you were wondering if Luann will be singing at her own wedding, the answer is yes. Luann explained how this plays into her wardrobe choices: “So I’m wearing three dresses; the traditional one, the one where I might sing a song for him, and it’s New Year’s Eve, so it’s time to ring in the new year. I am going to sing in the short dress. The end-of-the-night dress is a bit revealing with some bling, but elegant at the same time.”
Personally, I think three dresses is a lot, but I am not a Real Housewife, so I really don’t get the lifestyle. Good for her though. You do you, Luann.
