Season 3 of Real Housewives of Potomac is just around the corner (tonight!). After a first season that failed to hit the mark, the cast members stepped it for Season 2, so will the third time be the charm for series?
Cast member Gizelle Bryant shares some of her insight on what to expect next season. Just like Season 2, she’s still going at it with the self-proclaimed grand dame Karen Huger and Monique Samuels. Unlike seasons one and two, Gizelle has signifcant love interest. She is still going strong with boyfriend Sherman Douglas who made a a quick cameo appearance during the Season 3 reunion.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Gizelle shared, “Karen and I do our thing. We have highs and lows, that’s the nature of our relationship and we work through that this season. I think this season we were more low than high. The good news about it is Karen and I love each other. I had a struggle with her this season because I didn’t think she was being hones.” Most likely this is alluding to Karen’s delusion of her questionable financial situation.
When it comes to her beef with Monique, Gizelle insists, “Every day, she’s fighting with me in her mind. It’s strange, but it’s only in her mind.” Really? Obviously I haven’t seen any episodes from Season 3, but on Season 2, Gizelle was the one who refused to welcome Monique into the group. Gizelle came for Monique over and over again. Monique had to defend herself against Gizelle many times over. So did things really shift while they filmed Season 3 or is Gizelle just viewing this situation in her own favor?
On a happy note, Gizelle is hopeful about her relationship with Sherman. She shared, “We are going one day at a time! When you’re over the age of 40 it’s tough because you’re stuck in your own ways, but I can see myself getting married again.” Would that be on the show? Maybe Real Housewives of Potomac Season 4?
