It looks like Shannon Beador has a comeback in the works. She was very open with her weight struggles on Real Housewives of Orange County last season. Now she is back on track with her health and she even has a new business in the works.
Just like other Housewives who have come before her, Shannon is taking her talents to QVC to launch a line of prepared food.
Shannon spoke to Bravo’s The Daily Dish about her prepared food line called Real for Real Cuisine. According to the article, the meals are all 450 calories, they can all be prepared using an oven or a microwave, and they can be kept frozen for 12 months.
Shannon shared, “Last season, I was talking about opening a restaurant, which is still on the back burner, but the divorce happened, so everything is kind of on hold with that. And that concept was to create affordable but flavorful low-calorie meals in the restaurant. So that’s what we’ve done for Real for Real Cuisine.”
If anyone knows what it’s like to make a true lifestyle change it’s Shannon. She explained, “You guys have seen me [when] my weight’s been high and when my weight’s been lower, and then it goes high again. I’ve realized that at my age I need to make a lifestyle change. I don’t have to sit there and starve myself for three weeks so that I lose the weight. What I need to do is make a lot of smart decisions so that I can have a cocktail or two on the weekend or order whatever meal I want at a restaurant. So it’s just creating a healthy balance. You don’t have to be 100 percent healthy all the time. You need to live your life.”
On April 5, Shannon shared a photo of herself at QVC with the caption “Had an incredible day @qvc ! Real For Real Cuisine is officially launching April 18! So excited!! #pinchingmyself #womenarestrong.”
On April 16, Shannon posted a mid-flight selfie with the caption “Philadelphia and @qvc bound!
