Ray J’s relationship with season 1 winner, Cocktail, seemed to turn sour just weeks after the 1st season ended. It’s rumored Ray J dumped Cocktail so he could film a second season of his hit dating show. With names like Popper, Lava, Fettucini and Trouble, surely Ray J will find his one true love among this bunch.
The new season is set to premier on VH1 on Monday, Nov. 2 at 9/8c.
World famous R&B superstar Ray J is back for another season of For the Love of Ray J. Last season Ray brought 14 beautiful women to his home to see if he could find love — and he thought he did. After going through challenges, dates and eliminations Cocktail won Ray J’s heart and the two of them hoped things would work out, but it wasn’t meant to be. Just because things didn’t work out with Cocktail doesn’t mean Ray didn’t have blast. Ray wants to give love a second chance, so he hit up VH1 and told them he wanted to do it just like last time, but better.
“My daughter Brienna was really sick that night,” says Kim, also claiming Kandi was aware that she wouldn’t be able to make it to the concert.
“She’s understanding,” Kim said. “I wouldn’t miss something like that especially after all the work she did on ‘Tardy for the Party.’ I wouldn’t just not show up.”
Since the producers didn’t explain the reason for Kim’s absence, it gave viewers the impression that Kim intentionally skipped the event.
Kim is also upset about Lisa comments of her possibly having a disease referring to Kim’s “cancer” scare during the first season reunion. “Who talks like that?” she said. “That’s so low! She’s a mother and a wife. That’s not funny. It’s a little too much for me. It’s one thing to make fun of somebody and make it cut but to really insult them…”
Not sure if I’m buying Kim’s excuse and claim that Kandi knew she would not be showing up, considering Kandi seemed to be looking for her after the performance.
TheJonandKate Gosselin saga doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Jon says estranged wife Kate is trying to prevent him from seeing his twins on their birthday. Both Mady and Cara celebrate their 9th birthday today.
“She’s trying to prevent me from seeing my kids on their birthday because she doesn’t want to see me,” alleges the dad of eight, in a recent interview on Entertainment Tonight (ET) that aired Wednesday night.
Both Jon and Kate have to take turns living in their $1.1-million Pennsylvania home when they have custody of the kids, but Jon says he’s “just going to stay” when its his turn.
“I own the house, so I can do what I want,” he says.
A few days ago, Kate accused Jon of taking $230,000 from their joint bank account, leaving her with $1000. Kate sent Jon an email saying, “Due to recent events, it will be too stressful to the kids to have both of us here as planned. I would like to split the evening so they can see us both.” The email also limits the time that Jon can spend with the kids on Thursday from 4 to 6pm
In the interview with ET, Jon also claims that his “kids didn’t care” when they found out their parents were splitting up.”When we told them we were going to get divorced, the 5-year olds said, ‘What’s for lunch?’ The only two people who really cared were [9-year-old twins] Mady and Cara,” Jon told ET. “Cara broke down and Mady said, ‘Oh, I saw this coming.’”
Jennifer Hudson is introducing the world to her new born son. Jennifer gave birth to her first child, David – named after her fiancé, David Otunga (Punk from I Love New York 2) – on Aug. 10.
“I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy,” says the American Idol alum. “Who better to devote my time to than my own child?”
Below are excerpts from her interview with PEOPLE -
How hard was it keeping your pregnancy under wraps?
“David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there.”
Has his personality emerged yet?
“He has a lot of personality, like David. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favorite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle; that’s all he wants.”
Bravo had planned to film a two-part show this week that was due to air on the network on October 29 and November 5. The taping has now been rescheduled in light of the death of castmate Kandi Burruss’s ex-fiancé Ashley A.J. Jewell.
Dwight Eubanks confirmed this news to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The hairdresser and honorary “sixth housewife” said he didn’t expect AJ to be edited out of the upcoming episodes.
“I don’t see them editing him out. It’s television. It’s reality. We just have to prepare and get geared up for next year,” said Dwight.
He also added that he is uncertain of Kandi’s future on the show, saying: “She’s had such a dramatic year. She had her uncle die, too. She has her own career to focus on. Now her life has changed with her daughter and taking temporary custody of [AJ's] twins.”
Kandi has however previously voiced her desire to return for a 3rd season before the passing of AJ.
Never shy to give her opinion, The Real Housewives of NYC star told Jon, “I think you’re defeated. You need to pull yourself up from your bootstraps and get back to your kids and get your crap together.” Bethenny continued, “You need to pull it together.”
Jon– who halted production on Kate Plus 8 – replied, “That’s what I am trying to do.”
“Everyone’s mad at you right now,” sneered Bethenny, 38. She goes on, “America has a big problem with the fact that [your kids] are growing up on a television show. You never know what the effects will be 20 years from now.”
Referring to some of Jon’s latest antics, Bethenny added – “It looks like you went through a rebellious phase.”
Jon responded, “Of course. I went from [age] 32 to 23. My therapist has told me that. My therapist told me I went from 32 to 23.”
In other news, Kate Gosselin refuted Jon’s claims that the show was harmful to their kids. Kate said Monday on the Today show. “Times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love the crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. It is not harmful to them. They are angry.”
