Dancing With The Stars Finals: Hines & Chelsea Tie For The Lead!

It was finals night on Dancing With The Stars as the three remaining celebs danced their hearts out!

The remaining finalists had to dance two dances last night, a regular dance and a freestyle routine. First up was Disney starlet Chelsea Kane, who danced a sultry samba with partner Mark Ballas for a score of 29. Kirstie Alley and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy also performed a samba for a score of 27. “It could have been a little bit crisper, but it was a lovely job and deserving of being in this final,” said judge Len Goodman of Kirstie.

Dancing a quickstep was NFL player Hines Ward and partner Kym Johnson for an almost perfect score of 29. “It was a vast improvement, for me it’s not quite there yet,” critiqued Len.

It was time for the freestyle dances with Chelsea and Mark earning a perfect score of 30 for their “electrifying” hip-hop and Latin-inspired routine. It was then Kirstie’s turn and her freestyle with Maks started of slow before picking up speed, lifts included and all. Kirstie earned another score of 27. “You have become the poster child for life as it should be lived at 60 years old!” said judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

Hines was last but definitely not the least with his freestyle, and similar to Chelsea, he also earned a perfect score of 30! To sum things up, Hines and Chelsea are currently tied for first with a total score of 59 each, but don’t count Kirstie out just yet! She is a fan favorite after all and can still pull out a win.

Below are the full scores from last night –

Chelsea & Mark: 59 (29, 30)

Hines & Kym: 59 (29, 30)

Kirstie & Maksim: 54 (27, 27)
