Bringing you your daily dose of Jon and Kate (Are you as tired of hearing about these two as we are?)Well, the couple continues to spend time apart. Jon has been seen with different woman over the last few months but recently with two female companions during the Memorial Day weekend and a recent shopping spree at a New Jersey mall. The reality star says that both female companions are friends of both he and his wife.
“The two women with whom I’ve been photographed are family friends – Lauren Glassman andLauren’s daughter, Hailey,” he tells PEOPLE. “Lauren’s husband, Dr. Larry Glassman, performed Kate’s tummy tuck surgery, and since the surgery we’ve become friendly with the Glassmans.”
Jon and the Glassmans were photographed shopping at the Riverside Square Mall in New Jersey over the weekend, stopping in at Louis Vuitton, Cole Haan and Godiva stores, according to TMZ.com.
While Jon was photographed with his female companions, Kate was on a working vacation in North Carolina with her eight kids, body guards, a nanny and camera crews. Kate showed off her bikini body while on vacation, thanks to a free tummy tuck which is among the many perks of being the star of “Jon & Kate Plus 8”
The 2nd episode of the 5th season of Jon & Kate Plus Eight returns to TLC Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
So Hood aka Judith Scullark was the second girl to quit Charm School 3 this week. In this new interview with VH1, she talks about the reason she quit, plus why she doesn’t necessarily think Ki Ki’s elimination was racially motivated.
So Hood also continues to stand by her proclamation of being the “modern-day Martin Luther King.” Something tells me MLK would rather not be associated with this foolishness. She goes on to talk about a physical fight she had with Brittanya which wasn’t shown on TV.
Below are some excerpts from her interview, as well as more photos of So Hood.
What are your thoughts about this whole ordeal?
I thought it was a bunch of bulls***. It was a wreck from Day 1. I had a feeling when I first walked in the house that something like this was going to take place. I tried to stick it out and sure enough, come the second elimination, some bulls*** happened.
What was the problem?
Ricki does not get both sides of the story. She allowed people into her office: some she invited, some requested to go see her. Basically, snitches. I never ran to her to tell her what was going on, which I guess now I should have. But I followed by the street code: no snitching. I hate snitches. So a lot of people ran to her, and she never got Ki Ki’s side of the story. I had a weird feeling when I stepped off that bus and saw Ricki there, but I really wanted to change and I went through hell and high water to get to Charm School. Ricki’s trying to teach women to be charming, but that talk show she had was not a charming show. I have no problem with it. I love trash like that. I love all these crazy, who’s-the-father DNA-type shows. But how can she teach women to be charming?
The scenes of you screaming at Bubbles seem harsh.
Bubbles plays the victim role and a lot of people don’t know that. Lala pointed that out. Bubbles is very conniving, very sneaky. I’m starting to think she’s not as dumb as she comes off to be. I think she knows what she needs to do to get under people’s skin and then come off as the victim.
This season of Charm School 3 has been filled with some major drama. Evidently mixing the Rock of Love Busgirls with the Real Chance of Lovegirls was a bad idea, or perhaps a genius idea? Depends on who you ask.
Two girls – one from each show- ended up quiting during the last episode. In this new interview with VH1, Farrah talks about her reasons for quitting and defends her “ghetto” comments. Below are excerpts from her interview plus more pictures of Farrah below -
I didn’t really understand why you were getting so upset at the elimination that led to your dropping out.
I was so pissed, I was actually pacing back and forth. Whenever they were up there, the girls from Real Chance of Love were standing there acting like they were total angels, and that’s fine. When I do stuff that’s wrong, like locking Brittaney Starr in the bathroom, I try to act like an angel, too. But they were making little comments. I don’t remember what they were, but it was just pissing me off. They were that mad that one of the Real Chance of Love girls was up there. Two of the Rock of Love girls were up there. Hello? Two Rock of Love girls already got sent home. It was hard to stand there and listen to all their comments, and it was frustrating that Ricki couldn’t hear them.
So it was just comments that bothered you enough to want to leave?
I knew that as soon as one of the Real Chance of Love girls was sent home, the rest were going to explode, because that’s what they do. It was never-ending. They were yelling the whole time, and when I say “they,” I mean Bay Bay Bay, So Hood, Ki Ki, Risky, K.O and Brittaney Starr. All that yelling was hard to deal with. I had to drink a lot to tolerate it.
Did Ricki momentarily convince you to stay after that?
I felt sorry for Ricki at that point. I know she didn’t want us to leave, but I was thinking at that point that she didn’t know what she was getting herself into. Neither did we, and I’m sure the Real Chance of Love girls felt the same way, because they didn’t want to be around us, either. Ricki didn’t know what to do, and I felt sorry for her because she’s a really sweet person.
You definitely did seem more willing than most to bridge the gap between the shows. You reached out to So Hood after Marcia called her “So Ho.”
Yeah, I tried to talk to her and she was like, “Whatever.” I talked to Ki Ki on the bus on the way there. She was nice and I was nice to her. Bay Bay Bay and I had a really good conversation one time and she was really sweet. The Real Chance girls really didn’t do anything to me besides saying, “Kiss my black ass,” and setting Brittaney Starr up to say stuff to me. But they weren’t looking to be friends, I don’t think. I really regret leaving because I know once a few people left, the group would be smaller and everyone would blend together.
On July 9th, the Eleventh season of Big Brotherpremiers on CBS. This will broadcast three times weekly beginning Sunday July 12 (8:00-9:00pm, ET), Tuesday July 14 (9:00-10:00, ET). Julie Chen, who is now pregnant will continue to host the LIVE eviction shows – baby bump and all.
Big Brother is about a group of people living together in a house with several cameras and microphones recording their every activity 24 hours a day. Contestants will compete against, yell at and occasionally sleep with one another. Each week, someone will be evicted by other members of the house. At the end of the three months competition, the last man or woman standing will receive the grand prize of half a million dollars and fame.
Big Brother is arguably my favorite reality show, and I’m very excited for the new season to premier. Season 8 with Eric and Jessica is probably my favorite season of all time. And what can I say about the way Dan from last season played the game? Definitely one of the best players in the game’s history.
Tell Us: Are you looking forward to the new season? What is your favorite BB season?
After all the drama and interesting findings on Real Housewife Danielle Staub, no one is more pleased than Kevin Maher with all the publicity. Maher is the subject of the book, “Cop Without A Badge” that supposedly tells Danielle’s biography as a stripper, drug dealer’s girlfriend and her involvement in a kidnapping scheme. Not only did Danielle date Kevin but report says they might have gotten married.
Maher has reportedly sold his story to star magazine and is currently negotiating to get the book re-released. I also hear that the book is flying off the shelves. I did my own search and you can get it on Amazon.
If all these allegations are true, do you think Danielle should be open about her past? Besides, can this Maher guy be trusted? What are your thoughts?
In the never ending drama for the Jon & Kate Plus 8 family, comes a new report that Jon & Kate Gosselin are being investigated the Pennsylvania Department of Labor for possibly violating child labor laws by having their children on the show.
No we’re not kidding. The the Pennsylvania Department of Labor confirmed yesterday that an investigation is being done to determine if the hit TLC show is violating child labor laws after receiving a complaint against the show. So all it takes is one complaint to waste tax payers money on a ridiculous investigation such as this one?
Troy Thompson of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor says, “We’re not saying that they are not complying with child labor laws. We’re investigating a complaint. We’re not saying that there was or was not a violation, just that we’re conducting an investigation.”
The reality show – for which Jon and Kate earn $50,000-$75,000 an episode – features their eight children, including 8-year-old twins and sextuplets who just turned 5.
TLC has released a statement denying any wrong doing. This whole witch hunt on the couple has now gone a bit too far in my opinion. To say they are violating child labor laws seems to be a very big and rather unfair reach to me.
Could their be a new feud brewing on the upcoming season of The Hills? Well if you ask Audrina Patridge, that answer would be yes. Audrina appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show recently, and when asked about her feelings towards Kristin Cavallari, she simply said, “I don’t like her.”
Audrina then confirmed the two had a fight the first day of filming bonus episodes of the MTV show. The rumor is that Kristin has been pursuing Patridge’s ex, Justin Bobby.
While Audrina would not reveal the details on what caused their drama, she did say, “When someone gets in my face, I have to defend myself. And, you guys, I mean, I can’t say much. They’ll show it, but I mean, all I have to say is, it’s really pathetic and desperate what people will do when the cameras are around.”
Audrina continues, “It was my birthday, and I was like, Oh, my God. Is this what we’re going to have to deal with?’”
I’m not sure why Audrina is so upset at Kristin, I mean Kristin is just doing what the Hills script called for right. Perhaps someone should send Audrina a memo letting her know the Hills stopped being “real” a few seasons ago.
Fox network, along with American Idol producers have come out swinging against new reports that the AI finale voting was rigged.
If you haven’t heard by now, the NY Times reported that AT&T provided phones for free text-messaging services at two Allen parties in Arkansas on the night of the finals. Citing sources, The Times reports that AT&T reps showed party-goers how to “power text” – cast 10 votes at the touch of a button, which violates show rules.
So basically we are all suppose to get all up in arms over what amounts to probably about a few hundred votes or less than .000000001% of the total votes? Newsflash to NY Times, the total votes from the Idol finale amounted to tens of millions. And numerous reports have pointed out that the voting was not even close at all. Kris Allen won by a large margin, thus making these reports even more ridiculous.
The full statement given by Fox and AI producers is below -
“Fox and the producers of American Idol are absolutely certain that the results of this competition are fair, accurate and verified. Kris Allen is, without a doubt, the American Idol. We have an independent third-party monitoring procedure in place to ensure the integrity of the voting process. In no way did any individuals unfairly influence the outcome of the competition.”
