Kate Gosselin Says She’s Not Dating Anyone! Reveals New Year Resolutions & Wants A Fitness Show!

Attention eligible bachelors, Kate Gosselin is still single and available!

Weeks after a report stated the former Kate Plus 8 star had a new beau in her life, Kate is now denying she is seeing anyone.

Talking to OK! magazine, Kate, 36, dismisses the gossip as “fabricated and totally false.” She stressed: “Unless my running shoes, kitchen utensils or wrapping paper are considered ‘dates,’ I have not been on any.” Aww poor Katie! At least she has her bodyguard Steve Neild to err, you know, “protect” her!

The mother of eight is, however, keeping her chin up as she reflects on the year 2011 and reveals her resolutions for the New Year in her latest blog for Couponcabin.com.

“The main thing that the end of a year causes me to do is to reflect on what I’ve learned that year,” wrote Kate. “The year of 2011 for me was a year of gaining complete independence, and learning to look for solutions in every situation instead of focusing on the problems.”

“I don’t typically make New Year’s resolutions because I’m not one to make drastic changes just for the sake of making them or just because the calendar starts over,” blogged Kate before going on to share her super exciting resolutions! And no, stop being the b-word wasn’t one of them! “However, I do aim for certain things as I organize and prioritize my life all year long. For example, I make goals to fix or finish certain projects around the house, goals for giving the kids certain life experiences and fitness and career goals for myself.”

Kate reflects more on what she learned in the last year: “I also learned to step back and survey the situation before acting on something. For the most part, this has worked and overall I feel more peaceful and more confident that I can handle whatever life throws at me. I’ve also noticed my kids are becoming problem solvers, too, which is very encouraging!”

She adds, “I’ve always said that I don’t live apologetically; I live passionately! A great way to do that is to learn from the past and make it better in the future.”

And finally, the mom of eight also recently revealed she wants back on TV her own fitness show!

Last weekend, Kate took to her Twitter page to let fans know that her own fitness show would be a dream come true! “A fitness show would be a dream come true,” tweeted Kate, who recently ran a marathon. “Not for me only but a way to reach ALL moms who desire fitness but don’t know how!”

No word yet on whether or not her plus 8 would make cameos on the said fitness show.

Attention All: Kate Gosselin is dating! That’s right — the divorced mom of eight long been rumored to be having an affair with her very married bodyguard Steve Neild, is dating someone — and it’s not Steve!

According to HollyBaby, Kate has been on several dates with a mystery man who is possibly her boyfriend! “Kate has been set up on many blind dates,” a source reveals. “But finally one guy has caught her eye.”

“He’s not in showbiz but she met him at an event. The two have been quietly seeing each other but she hasn’t introduced him to the kids.”  While Kate is on the dating scene again, the former star of Kate Plus 8 may have ulterior motives because HollyBaby is also reporting that Kate is jealous of her ex-husband Jon Gosselin‘s relationship with Ellen Ross!

Apparently, the Gosselin kids “love” Ellen which has Kate steaming with jealousy! “Kate’s kids are starting to ask about Ellen and talk about her to Kate,” a source discloses. “They think Ellen is so funny, and they ask Kate if their dad is going to marry Ellen.” A photo of Jon and Ellen is below!

“Kate can’t stand that the kids like Ellen,” the source added. “Kate wants the kids to not think of Ellen as a stepmother, it drives Kate crazy. Kate doesn’t like the kids getting close to her and she refuses to accept Ellen.” Well, perhaps Kate can get over her preoccupation with Ellen by focusing on her new man!

Is Kate Gosselin Having An Affair With Her Bodyguard Steve Neild? Seen Having Intimate Dinner

The rumors that Kate Gosselin is having an affair with her long-time bodyguard Steve Neild have been swirling for a while, but is there some truth to the gossip? I mean, Kate is apparently worried over her finances given that she no longer has a “real” job, yet she is still keeping Steve on the pay roll? Sounds fishy to me!

After being caught on what seemed like a romantic date without Kate’s eight, In Touch Weekly is reporting that the two looked quite cozy during an intimate dinner last month. “They were smiling and laughing,” an onlooker reports. “They definitely looked like a couple.”

Kate has long denied any romantic relationship with Steve, telling the Today show: “There is no affair. There never has been an affair;” claiming they are just “very good friends.” However, viewers of her former show Kate Plus 8 can attest that there were certainly some sparks (remember the pizza meltdown of the final season? yikes!)

Even her ex-husband Jon Gosselin has added to the rumors that Kate and Steve are a little more than just friends. “I speculate, but I don’t know — that’s a general feel,” Jon told Good Morning America. “You know, almost like when they were traveling together, I felt jealous. Here I’m Mr. Mom. And then there’s some other guy traveling with my wife.” And he was wondering just what kind of protection Steve was providing for his then wife! “Whether it’s protection or not, it’s all in — it’s in the back of my mind.”

Indeed, an insider is telling the mag that Kate and Steve definitely have a relationship! “Kate and Steve take long, lingering walks and even stay in the same room when they travel.” On a recent trip to Chicago the pair was definitely acting like a couple, and Steve also accompanied Kate on a recent trip to Australia! “Kate doesn’t hide her feelings for Steve,” the insider adds.”They’re not ashamed of their relationship.” But perhaps they should be!

For those of you who are thinking ‘good for Kate for finding a man!’ think again as Steve is actually a married man (who is often spotted sans wedding ring)! Steve’s wife of 20 years, Gina must not be too pleased by the amount of time he spends with a woman other than his wife. When In Touch attempted to contact Gina for her opinion on Kate’s relationship with her husband, she hung up! “She must be outraged,” a friend informed the mag. Tareq Salahi Confesses To A Crush On Kate Gosselin; Wants To Be Set Up!

Oh, dear. Filed under the category of “Things That Make Me Vomit,” it seems one famewhore extraordinaire is seeking another famewhore extraordinaire! In today’s crazy news, Tareq Salahi formerly of Real Housewives of DC wants to date Kate Gosselin, formerly of Kate Plus 8!

After that attempt to sue his soon-to-be ex-wife Michaele Salahi and her new beau Neal Schon didn’t work out, Tareq is desperate to keep his name in the media! So desperate, he recently confessed to a crush on Kate! Poor Kit Hoover of Access Hollywood Live was enlisted to play has-been matchmaker. “Tareq Salahi e-mailed me personally, he wants to be set up with Kate Gosselin,” Kit revealed on yesterday’s show!

Apparently Tareq saw the mom of many on Tuesday’s show and expressed an interest, wondering: “Is she really single? Set us up if she is.” I guess that facelift paid off, Kate!

Kit promised Tareq she’d do her best, telling him: “Tareq, I’m totally on it!” Hey, they might be good together. And think of the publicity… And how about a new reality show: Kate Plus Tareq! Has a nice ring to it! Although, something tells me Kate has already changed her number…

Kate Gosselin Denies Getting A Facelift; Refuses To Work With Jon Gosselin Ever Again!

It’s pretty much a fact that Kate Gosselin will do anything to get attention from the media and capture the limelight again. But is she really so desperate for some attention she’d get a facelift? It sure looks like it!

After some shocking photos surfaced of the CouponCabin.com blogger at work looking a little errrr… changed, the media instantly started suspecting that Kate, who is no stranger to plastic surgery, may have done something to her face. Well, of course she is denying it all while rushing to the nearest TV camera to give an interview about how she hasn’t done a thing, nope nothing at all!

“I mean, honestly – I’m 36! No, I have not had a facelift,” she insisted. “People have too much time on their hands.” Speaking to Access Hollywood Live, Kate relished in her new-found attention! “Honestly, I feel like it should go away and the rumors just keep getting more and more ridiculous,” she said of the media’s coverage of her life. “I’m busy raising my kids and working and I honestly laughed at the facelift thing because I don’t know any 36 year olds who have had a facelifts – or need one.”

Kate chalks up her tightened new appearance to training for the upcoming Rock n Roll Marathon in Las Vegas. “I’m running a marathon on Sunday – I’m running a lot of miles. Obviously your body is going to change and you lose a lot of weight. I’m guessing that’s what people are noticing,” Kate insisted. “My hair was parted differently? Different makeup artist that day?” I dunno… something looks off… definitely tightened up!

As for how she is coping following the cancellation of Kate Plus 8, Kate admits it’s hard! “There’s definitely something missing in our lives and we miss the people that were behind the cameras,” she reveals. “From a mom aspect, I miss being able to show my kids the world and do all of those adventures and I think that I miss the most convenient job in the whole wide world – to get paid when someone’s coming in recording your home videos is still a dream come true and it worked that way.”

Even though Kate wants a career in TV she will definitely not be sharing the spotlight with ex-husband Jon Gosselin anytime soon — no matter how much money was on the table! “I’ll never film another frame of TV with Jon again,” she snapped.

“You could offer me every last dollar on the planet. I don’t work for money. Jon lives his own life now and I have a lot of peace in my life for me and the kids so I’d have to say no, I cannot compromise my morals and standards to get paid a ridiculous amount of money,” Kate stated emphatically. “I don’t feel like it’s healthy or beneficial for my kids to watch so there’s no point.”

Kate Gosselin “Craves The Spotlight” – Still Hoping To Land Another Gig On Television!

Poor Kate Gosselin try as she might, she just can’t let go of the past! Despite having a new job as the representative and former “celebrity” blogger for CouponCabin.com, Kate still yearns the spotlight and misses it in a big way!

Although the star of the once popular Kate Plus 8 is reportedly “happy” to have a new job, she is still hoping in vain for a new TV gig! “Kate would do anything to have her own job as a TV host,” Kate an unnamed source tells HollyBaby.

Kate, while grateful for the opportunity to espouse her knowledge of budgeting (knowledge?), really, really, really just wants to show off her TV prowess! “She’s happy to have something to do while the kids are at school and she knows a lot about being on a budget, so the coupon job is good for her,” the source continues. “But is she thrilled to not have cameras with her? No! She craves the spotlight.”

“She’d even do reality TV again if someone asked her to.” She’d even do reality TV? I’m pretty sure that sentence meant to say she’d LOVE to do reality TV again! So if SuperMom Kate is prepared to do pretty much anything to get in front of the paparazzi again – why isn’t she on another reality show already?

“Kate’s really unwilling to show her personal life outside of being a mom so not many networks are interested in another reality show,” the source expects us to believe. “That’s why her TLC show bombed, it became boring.” Wait – the show became boring and audiences lost interest because we, the viewing public, wanted to see more of Kate’s personal life?! Yeah – I don’t think so. Frankly, we saw enough of that!

Personally, I think too much of Kate (and ex-husband, Jon Gosselin) in the public eye was the reason people lost interest in the show. Their divorce drama combined with constant pleas for media attention (aka famewhoring) drove viewers away. Especially after fans started to realize the show and subsequent drama was less about featuring a family and the lives of the eight Gosselin kids and more about the dysfunctional dynamic behind the scenes. Furthermore, I, along with many other fans started to think the show was exploitative to the children and Kate becoming a domineering drama queen, screaming at everyone on the show further isolated viewers. Again, that’s just my opinion.
