Good news – maybe?! – the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has already been renewed. Bad news – the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast won’t change much for season seven. Why can’t we have nice things?
Earlier today, Bravo announced the six new and fourteen returning shows that will fill its summer and fall schedules. Obviously, RHOBH is on the list for fall. It will be a while before the cast is set in stone and revealed; however, when a fan tweeted @ Andy Cohen that Lisa Rinna, Yolanda Foster, Erika Girardi, and Eileen Davidson must go, he replied, “No way!”
Are y’all still with me? If you haven’t taken a sledgehammer to your phone/tablet/computer because of Andy‘s bad judgementTweet, look below to find out what other questionable choices goodies Bravo has in store for viewers.
When asked what she learned this year, Annabelle said, “To watch my back.”
“I did enjoy getting to know the American girls much better,” added Annabelle. “Marissa [Hermer] was amazing helping me with the Me Me Mes! I learned that people are just not as strong as me, and I have to accept that people lie, which I hate. I don’t like losing friends, but that has been a decision taken out of my hands. I did write to Jules [Montagu], but she’s decided to ignore me, and that does not say a lot about her. But I wish her all the success in the world.”
Before we begin, let the royal court take a moment of silence to remember a season of castles and crowns, barefoot baronesses and earls of sandwiches, stiff upper lips and loose Julie Montagu lips. Ah, Ladies of London! You’ve given us more than grown women in onesies carping at each other; you’ve given us a fun and fancy trip around London and its outer banks, complete with eye candy shots we just can’t get in the OC, Atlanta, or even Beverly Hills. So, Bravo, if you’re listening: We want more! Let’s see a season 3 for Ladies of London, please. But let’s give it a shot in the arm next time, eh? Like a better time slot, solid promotion, and a little editing magic to really dress this Cinderella up for the ball she deserves!
Okay, let’s take our final stroll down this season’s lane all together now, shall we? After our opening montage shows the ladies getting ready for their day ahead, Annabelle Neilson calls on Baroness Caroline Fleming for a lunch visit. Caroline wonders if Annabelle has recovered from Denmark? Annabelle is feeling as if Julie has not been a good friend to her lately, but hasn’t broached the issue with her yet. But Juliet Angus and Julie join them next, so the conversation is bound to take a turn for the dark side soon.
Caroline admitted that it took her “a year and a half” to agree to appear on Ladies of London, explaining, “In England we do not really have reality shows, especially women our age doing it. Nobody has done it before. It’s so frowned upon, whereas, I think, here you love them. Over there, they just don’t, so I was really nervous to do it. They [the locals] don’t talk about it. They pretend it’s not happening. But I know secretly they all watch it and they all enjoy it.”
Tensions are rising this week as the Ladies of London bring us plenty of cattiness in castles as they wrap up their trip to Baroness Caroline Fleming’s home in Denmark! Since Annabelle Neilson’s “therapy session” at dinner, in which she told a handful of the ladies what their individual problems are, the group has rallied. They’re packing up from their stay in Copenhagen to travel to Caroline F’s family estate, er, castle. Caroline Stanbury and her makeup-artist-permanent-sidekick, Luke, are catching up the morning after dinner. Caroline tells him all about Annabelle’s Copenhagen Confessions, which she can’t take seriously. She feels Annabelle has a constant dour outlook, but vows to make the best of things for the sake of the trip.
En route to the castle, Julie Montagu, Marissa Hermer, Caroline F, and Caroline S sit together to dish about Annabelle. Julie, once Annabelle’s closest ally, suddenly feels as if she can’t do anything to please her. Caroline S doesn’t want to spend the weekend being told the rules according to Annabelle, and encourages Julie to stand up for herself too. Huh. Ironic, considering it was only weeks (days?) ago that Annabelle was giving Julie the same advice about Caroline. While they rag on Annabelle, she can hear their chatter the entire time. She is sitting only inches from them on this “posh” van, after all. Like in the game of Survivor, alliances are shifting.
About the fashion show, Annabelle shared, “Fashion for Relief is not a normal fashion show in the sense that a lot of people walking have never done this before. So it is much more about having a giggle and fun with it and talking to people backstage who might be a bit scared… not at all like a normal show. Everyone has given their time to support this cause and Naomi [Campbell]. It is a great atmosphere.”
On last night’s Ladies of London, the crew takes a trip to Baroness Caroline Fleming’s beautiful native country of Denmark. And a few of them are surprised to see just how much of a celebrity the Baroness is back in her homeland! Speaking of celebrity, Annabelle Neilson hooks up with long time friend and supermodel, Naomi Campbell, to walk the runway. Annabelle also stirs up some drama when she is asked to tell the group how she really feels about them on their trip. Spoiler alert: she’s not holding back!
Since the shooting party, the women have been moving forward with their lives. London’s fashion week is kicking off with a Fashion Relief for Ebola show in which Juliet Angus and Marissa Hermer are front row attendees. Juliet feels like she’s getting her fashion groove back on. After Naomi Campbell stomps the runway, Annabelle struts out later in a McQueen dress, looking every bit the pro she is. She’s been through a tough year after her horse accident, so this is an important moment for her. Marissa and Juliet like this lighter, fun Annabelle. She comes out post-show for hugs and humors Juliet and Marissa in some runway walk coaching. It’s light and goofy, as everything in this show should be! (More, please!)
