Andy mentions his surprise that Phaedra shared tonight on the reunion that she isn’t filing for divorce from Apollo NidaKenya says it was it news to her, too.  She also says that Porsha Williams’ new accusations that Kordell cheated was something she hadn’t heard before.  “I heard the opposite, but…”

Kandi Burruss RHOA Season 7 Reunion

Tonight the THREE-Part Real Housewives Of Atlanta reunion begins – meaning the drama between NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss will finally explode! Actually it seems like the entire reunion is NeNe-central (sorry NoNeensters!) because as Kandi explains, “She had a break-through.”

“She was bringing up some things in her past that really struck a nerve with her. Like talking about things in her childhood.” says Kandi of NeNe’s sobbing meltdown. “It brought about a different emotion.”

Apparently NeNe’s meltdown was a bonding moment for the group as all the women comforted her. “It was better than last year’s [reunion]. There was no hair pulling, so I guess that was progress,” Kandi laughs. “But, how do you have all this arguing and then skip off?”

Cynthia Bailey in Life Twirls On

Cynthia Bailey used her Real Housewives of Atlanta blog to gush over her role in Kenya Moore‘s pilot Life Twirls On. Apparently nothing else happened in the season finale that was worth a mention.

Cynthia said she’s dabbled in acting over the years but she obviously focused on modeling, adding, “More recently, over the past couple of years I have been cast for different roles, and I have fallen head over heels in love with acting.”

“So when Kenya told me about her pilot and that she was interested in Noelle’s dad, Leon, for one of the roles,” explained Cynthia, “I immediately let her know that I wanted to audition for it. Up until that point, Kenya knew nothing of my acting ambitions, and seemed a bit reluctant to let me try out. I knew that if she gave me the opportunity to audition, I would only have one chance to impress her. I showed up at the audition on time, in character, totally prepared, dressed to impress, and showed out!! I landed the role!!”

Phaedra Parks

Following the season finale of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo caught up with Phaedra Parks for her thoughts on NeNe Leakes on Broadway and the drama surrounding her refusal to explain why she hasn’t taken her boys to see Apollo Nida in prison despite his pleas to the gossip magazines. <eye roll>

When asked if she saw NeNe in Cinderella, Phaedra said, “I most certainly did see NeNe on Broadway, and she was absolutely fantastic, as you would expect. Her performance was dazzling and I was particularly impressed with how she made the role her own. It can be difficult to portray such a well-known character, let alone add your own style and flair to such an established role.”

Claudia Jordan

Claudia Jordan described herself as a “champion of truth and justice” on the season finale of Real Housewives of Atlanta. While I like Claudia more than most, mostly because I appreciated someone finally calling out NeNe Leakes on her ish, champion is a little much. Let’s wait and see who gets a peach next season first. If it comes down to NeNe or Claudia.. the champion is toast.

Claudia gave Kenya Moore‘s pilot, Life Twirls On, a rave review. “I thought it was cute and very fun to watch. The thing about Kenya I really like is that she is comfortable laughing at herself and not taking herself too seriously. She is entertaining. I thought Cynthia [Bailey] was really funny and totally committed to the part. It was fun to watch it with the girls, especially the part when Kenya played her own hair care commercial during the pilot! That was hilarious.”

Seen Around Lincoln Center - Day 3 - Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2015

What was officially the most disjointed, least sense-making season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta ever has finally come to an end. There were weird casting issues, a serious marriage upheaval, and pointless fights about female genitalia and how it is used (or misused), but there remained one constant: NeNe Leakes

In her finale blog, NeNe discusses surviving RHOA no matter what co-stars and errant producers tried to throw at her and revels in her success on Broaaa-Way (the “D” is oddly silent when NeNe pronounces it, as if her tongue can’t reach around her giant veneers to reach the roof of her mouth required for the D sound. Clearly I am over-thinking this).

With things very up in the air concerning whether or not NeNe will return for season 8 (she announced on twitter she would “if certain cast members don’t”), she’s focusing on the future while reminding us of how vital she is to the life-force that is RHOA – and that the unstoppable force of NeNe is just that: unstoppable!

Kenya premieres 'Life Twirls On' during RHOA Finale

Season 7 of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta has come to an end – now we just have to get through the reunion. Can we? Yes, we can… with vodka.  As they say: Life Twirls On… and so does the drama!

NeNe Leakes is in NYC for her debut in Broadway’s Cinderella. She’s got Michael Jackson’s sequined underwear on her head as a hat. Is it better or worse than the wig she’s got on underneath? With rehearsals ending, NeNe walks on the Broadway stage for the first time and is spellbound.

NeNe tosses her sequined-granny panties in the air and spins – not twirls – because she made it after all – away from the little town of Athens, away from the stripper pole, away from Wigs-N-Cigs and Krayonce, and onto the Great White Way where it is ALL. About. NeNe. The fans, the name in lights, the billboards on Times Square – all about NeNe. Those other people standing on stage with her? Mere extras in the giant production of life that is NeNe Leakes: The Impressive Adventures of Success As Told By Success Herself: Blooperella! NeNe admits she’s nervous.

NeNe does recognize she can’t run off stage if things don’t go her way, right?
