I started watching the Real Housewives because I was fascinated by wealthy women living lifestyles that I could never possibly attain. Weirdly enough, I actually find myself relating to a lot of the cast members in regard to many aspects. Sure, I will never be a rich and famous reality star, but I do find myself agreeing with a lot of the comments that the women make. More often than that I have a “that’s so me” feeling when I’m watching these shows.
Yes, I know that I would never be able to pay thousands of dollars for a spin class to benefit a charity like RHOBH ladies did this past season. I also don’t have my own fitness studio to work out in like Tamra Judge does on RHOC. But I do have something in common with these women: the difficulty to stay fit. I’m not throwing shade and saying that they don’t look amazing – because they honestly all do – but just like myself, they have also complained about dieting and fitness pretty often. There have been a lot of times when the women from Real Housewives have understood the struggle to get in shape.
Truthfully, I didn’t think they would end up moving forward with the notion just because I have no idea how they would have the time. Case in point: Kandi’s Instagram bio says, “I have too much going on to put in this bio.” But these two are proving to be superhuman business owners (yet again) and are moving forward with the restaurant process. They recently completed another aspect of this process and Kandi shared the good news on her Instagram page.
NeNe Leakes was invited to the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner – and she was front and center for the pre-parties, the after-parties and the dinner itself. We have all of wardrobe changes in the gallery below.
Bethenny Frankel and Eric Stonestreet turned out to support Eric’s Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson at the opening night party for “Fully Committed” on Broadway.
A man named Brandon Link was allegedly having a discussion with Peter about renting space out at the bar and then things turned violent. Link claimed that Peter threw him across the room. The case was dismissed, but now there is a new suit against Cynthia and Peter, because Link believes either Peter or employees at Sports One tampered with the video footage.
Good news – maybe?! – the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has already been renewed. Bad news – the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast won’t change much for season seven. Why can’t we have nice things?
Earlier today, Bravo announced the six new and fourteen returning shows that will fill its summer and fall schedules. Obviously, RHOBH is on the list for fall. It will be a while before the cast is set in stone and revealed; however, when a fan tweeted @ Andy Cohen that Lisa Rinna, Yolanda Foster, Erika Girardi, and Eileen Davidson must go, he replied, “No way!”
Are y’all still with me? If you haven’t taken a sledgehammer to your phone/tablet/computer because of Andy‘s bad judgementTweet, look below to find out what other questionable choices goodies Bravo has in store for viewers.
Not that I would ever think it’s okay to make up a rumor about a breast-feeding new mother taking diet pills, but I just don’t get what NeNe would ever have to do with this. It’s a weird mix between an advertisement and celebrity gossip that makes zero sense to me in addition to wreaking of desperation. Kandi got wind of these reports and really went in on her Instagram page.
Phaedra Parks always has a lot to say – and she has almost as much going on! The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star is currently juggling her law practice, activism, running a foundation, opening a funeral home, parenting her two sons, and reality TV. How does she have the time for all that shade?
Taking a break from dodging depositions squeezing peaches, Phaedra has channeled her activism through Black Lives Matter, the Flint Water crisis, and political involvement into her own self-titled foundation, The Phaedra Foundation. When hubris saves! “My mission is to change one life, one community, one family, hopefully, through the course of my working with them.”
