Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos and selfies from this week.
Here’s a little Friday funny for ya! Tim Gunn hung out and chatted with Us weekly about Kim Kardashian’s selfie-obsessed book “Selfish.” Needless to say, Tim is not a big fan of the reality star’s vapid selfie fixation.
In the video below Tim shares that he’s quickly losing IQ points with every tacky turn of the page. Take a look – it’ll be the best two minutes of your Friday afternoon, I promise.
It’s that time of the the week again, the time when we sit back and relax with the Real Housewives of New York epic fantasy novel that is Sonja Morgan’sBravo blog. But, alas! This week’s intern post is a bit more lucid than normal, so perhaps that psycho-pharmacologist has finally balanced Lady Morgan’s VitaMeataVegamin cocktail a bit better these days? Or maybe the Swami priestess is influencing this new, more rational perspective? In any case – light your abundance candles, people, because we’re diving in!
“You’ve got to love how a dinner party at which two girls cried is considered tame for my group of friends,” begins Sonja. Ha! Expressing her love for Dorinda Medley’s house, hostessing skills, and her expert handling of the den of vipers she invited for the weekend, Sonja comments, “Overall Dorinda was an amazing hostess to all of us crazy ladies, and I am so grateful to her for extending her warmth and hospitality by sharing her birthday with us nuts.” She also knows that Dorinda must have achieved all of her happiness through watching The Secret on repeat whilst lying around in a dirty robe, just like Sonja does! “I loved the story Dorinda shared about wanting to own that beautiful house. Positivity, visualization, and tenacity are the ultimate keys to success. I have learned that through my decades of hard work and experience, and it has really served me well. Everything I have dreamed has come true. Furthermore, I bring the fun, not the drama,” says Sonja.
This week Bruce Jenner officially announced her new identity as Caitlyn Jenner with an gorgeous Vanity Fair cover. This moving and amazing milestone opens up a lot of questions because of Caitlyn’s amazing life of accomplishments as Bruce! Most notably the Gold Medal Caitlyn, then Bruce, won for the decathlon in the infamous 1976 Olympics.
While some bigoted groups are campaigning to have Caitlyn stripped of her medal, the US Olympic Committee and Hall Of Fame is thankfully taking the opposite response! Caitlyn was inducted back in 1986, but her former name “Bruce” is attached to the honor.
Neither Jenelle or Nathan appeared at the Myrtle Beach courthouse yesterday and both were represented by their attorneys who campaigned, successfully, to have the charges related to their May 27th altercation dismissed.
Nathan and Jenelle became entangled in a messy, physical argument after returning from a trip to New York City together. Jenelle assumed they’d be rekindling their romance, but Nathan told her he started dating someone new and pressed charges against the Teen Mom 2 star, who then turned herself into police the following day.
On this week’s Blood, Sweat, and Heels, Chantelle Frasertook the formidable Demetria Lucas head on at the shade-throwin’ Hamptons dinner heard round the world. Now she’d like to explain just why she acted the way she did, and basically why she fundamentally dislikes Demetria. When asked in her Bravo blog the reason she went into uber-protective mode over good friend Geneva Thomas (and locked horns with Demetria as a result), Chantelle replied, “I am am not a passive aggressive person. I face issues head on and am not intimidated by anyone or afraid to voice my opinion. Geneva was disinvited to the wedding, because she ‘didn’t control me.’ The nerve! That’s an insult in itself. I cannot be owned by anyone nor am I Geneva’s child.” So, was Chantelle surprised Demetria fled the Hamptons trip after their argument? “No not at all,” she says, “She is another one that can dish it but can’t take it.”
Chantelle further explains that she thinks Demetria is playing mind games, and she wants none of it! She claims, “Demetria was being passive aggressive hiding behind Greg, and it was clearly a control tactic asking Geneva to apologize to HER man to negotiate her way back into the wedding. (Manage your own relationship, Demetria!).” Chantelle also questions Greg’s heavy influence over Demetria in their relationship: “Also, I’m not buying it that Greg can dictate to Demetria who she invites to her wedding. Come on, people! I would laugh in my man’s face if he tried to disinvite my best friend from my wedding. Secondly, Daisy [Lewellyn]having a breakdown in the afternoon because of Demetria’s dispassion toward her really affected me. At that point, I just wanted Demetria gone.”
