Reality TV is usually known for its TERRIBLE fashions, but once in a while a gal (or guy) gets it right. Rarely, but hey – it happens. Lord knows this list was a struggle, I had to really search and search – wrack my memory, so to speak – to find the good looks.
However, after careful consideration, lots of overlooking, and focusing on the positives here’s my pick for best dressed reality TV stars of 2014. Many people are on this list because of progress made – even if it’s merely outfit to outfit progress, but remember we’re thinking positively. <side eye>
The reunion, which filmed Tuesday, was tense from the get-go. Rumors that Stevie J and Joseline broke up over her cheating were confronted and Stevie started taking shots at Benzino before filming began by posting a nude photo of him and Althea on his twitter feed! Stevie even made this menacing tweet, “Relaxing in the bed, preparing an upset for my opponents tomorrow. We built for this, y’all r not!”
Project Runway All Stars is returning to Lifetime with some fan favorites…and not so favorites! There will be cat suits and cat fights, mark my words. Thirteen past designers will be back to compete for the reward that eluded them their first go-round. Each of the nine past seasons are represented except for season 4, but the majority of players are from the more recent seasons.
Iconic fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi returns to judge alongside the gorgeous Georgina Chapman who is the co-founder of Marchesa. Supermodel Carolyn Murphy (who is as intelligent as she is beautiful–her bio? Whoa!) will take over this season's hosting duties. Joanna Coles, former editor-in-chief of Marie Claire/just named editor-in-chief of Cosmo, resumes her role as all-star mentor. I like Joanna, but I sure do miss Tim Gunn when he's gone!

Irina Shabayeva is the new winner of Project Runway 6. The New Yorker designer won over all the judges with her mostly all black design collection, winning $100,000 towards her line, an agent and a trip to Paris.
The judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Susie Menkes chose Irina over Carol Hannah Whitfield, who came in third, and Althea Harper, the runner-up. All three women all showed their strong collections back at February’s fashion week in Bryant Park.
Irina’s collection was inspired by New York, right down to the detailed T-shirts worn beneath knitwear armor. “My collection is really about New York,” Irina said before her portion of the runway show. Congrats to Irina on winning the 6th season of the show.
Tonight’s finale of Project Runway will be the show’s first time ever of having three female contestants as finalists.
The question on everyone’s mind is who will be the ultimate winner of the sixth season? The obvious answer seems to be Irina, who has won more challenges than both Carol Hannah and Althea. Plus her collection seems to be the strongest this season. However, if there’s one thing we know about reality show competitions, is to never count anyone out.
Season four champ Christian Sirianohas his own opinion on who will take home the $100,000 prize. Christian, who attended the taping of the final runway show back in February, was blown away by the third anonymous designer’s work. That third anonymous desinger’s work just happens to be that of Irina’s, whom Christian believes will come out victorious in tonight’s episode.
