Bethenny Frankel On New Talk Show: “Everybody Is A Show Topic”

It's been quite a week for Bethenny Frankel, especially after Friday's hearing in her divorce from Jason Hoppy. Now, she's focusing on more positive things, like her upcoming talk show. The Bethenny Ever After star calls her hour-long daily sitdown "a public girls' night out," and she's not shy about the topics she plans to highlight…and those she plans to bypass.

Speaking to ABC about the premise for her show, Bethenny explains, “I just have found as you get older, women insulate a little more because they’re just so busy and have so much going on. They don’t really get the chance to really sit down and talk about their marriages, their money problems, their sex problems, infidelity issues. That’s what my talk show is about.”

Days after filing for divorce from Jason Hoppy, the woe-is-me publicity tour begins for Bethenny Frankel. Who didn't see this one coming?! While Jason has remained mum about the details surrounding their separation, the Bethenny Ever After star who claims she's tired of living in the spotlight is disproving her point by beginning a torrent of media appearances.

First up Bethenny's made-for-TV friend and talk show benefactress Ellen! Bethenny sat down with Ellen today where the 42-year-old bawled about marriage not being a fairy tale and fame letting her down. Get your tissues ready. #sarcasm!

A weepy Bethenny announced that she feels like a failure for lasting a paltry three-years in her marriage. "I feel like a bit of a disappointment to all of you and I feel like a failure."

Most disappointing to Bethenny is the unfortunate realization that life is not a fairytale. "I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale," she revealed.

Is Bethenny Frankel’s Talk Show Replacing Anderson Live?

Say it ain't so! I was upset enough to hear that my Silver Fox's daytime talk show has not been renewed, but now there are rumors swirling that Anderson Live may be replaced with Bethenny Frankel's show. Now, I don't have anything against Bethenny (that said, I have nothing for her either), but I do adore Anderson Cooper. Plus, having seen Bethenny's show, it's not something I would watch on a regular basis. Anderson, however, is a daily staple.

While I feel slightly placated due to the fact that Anderson's show will stick around until summer of next year, there is another show already circling his time slot. Before Bethenny fans remind me that she isn't personally responsible for Anderson's cancelation and she likely has little to do with her show taking its place, I totally realize that. It's really not so much that I'm opposed to Bethenny's show becoming syndicated, I just really enjoy Anderson's show.

Bethenny Frankel’s Talk Show Ratings Are Solid, But Falling! Plus VIDEO: Gretchen Rossi Appears On ‘bethenny’!

Bethenny Frankel is eager to make the transition from reality star to talk show host. Sadly, that trasnistion has been rocky at best. Since the first twinkling rumor that the Bethenny Ever After star was hoping to move to primetime and score a new gig, she has been plagued by bad news.

First she was too abrasive and no networks wanted her, so she was forced to work with a “nice coach” (a rumor Bethenny denied), then no networks picked up the show and she got dropped – and finally Fox bit after Ellen Degeneres got involved in the production of the show.

Well, following Bethenny’s first week as a talk show host, the limited released show has been plagued by topsy turvy ratings – that according to some are getting lower by the day. Day one of ‘bethenny’ got pretty decent numbers about 1.5 million viewers on average. Which is pretty solid.

Yesterday was a big day for Bethenny Frankel as her new talk show, ‘bethenny’, debuted in several markets across the country (but not ours!).

We scoured the web yesterday trying to find the full episode – with no luck. We DID find several clips from the show and they’re pretty hilarious and totally Bethenny. She’s not dialing it back or changing her personality and you have to respect her for that!

We also stumbled on some pictures of Bethenny from a meet and greet event in Philadelphia yesterday. Those are below, along with the video clips from her debut episode of ‘bethenny’.

Did any of you have a chance to see the show in full yesterday? What’d you think? I thought it was great that Jason Hoppy is hanging out in the audience and the “Sex Q&A” clip is hysterical!

So, Bethenny Frankel has quit her day job in eager anticipation of getting a new one. Yep, the possibly former star of Bethenny Ever After is now the hostess with the mostess potty talk of “bethenny,” a limited release daytime talk show.

“bethenny” is airing on Fox in six select cities starting this Monday. Those lucky cities are Phoenix, LA, NYC, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Minneapolis. Oh, you lucky people who live there!

Anyway, because she’s Bethenny and she’s built her reputation on courting the scandalous and using it to her advantage, she teased everyone by not addressing the many divorce rumors circulating about her and hubby Jason Hoppy. Instead Bethenny evoked us to wait and watch well, bethenny, to clear everything up.

REPORT – Are Bethenny Frankel’s Divorce Rumors A Publicity Stunt?

Bethenny Frankel has been back in the news for her marital drama again – and this time she’s allegedly having an affair with her Skinnygirl partner Matt Hesse and planning to divorce husband Jason Hoppy. With an iron-clad prenup, of course!

Friends of the Bethenny Ever After star have denied rumors of marital discord, saying the couple is committed to the marriage. Well, it appears they’re also committed to Bethenny’s rising career! Bethenny refused to confront rumors head-on; taking to Twitter to encourage fans to wait and watch her talk show for the deets. Well, that lead many to speculate that Bethenny may be using the rumors to create publicity for said new talk show.

HollywoodLife is reporting that Bethenny’s sudden marital problems are no mere coincidence! “Bethenny knows better than anyone how to work the media,” a source reveals. “She’s doing this for TV ratings for Bethenny Ever After.”

Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl Cocktail Sales Are Through The Roof; Announces Talk Show Premiere Date

It looks like Bethenny Frankel should go ahead and treat herself to that $35,000 furniture. Reports show that the sales of her Skinnygirl cocktails have rocketed over the past year.

A market research firm estimates that Bethenny’s Skinnygirl drinks have had an increase in sales of almost 400%! Alcohol sales in general have seen an increase, but Skinnygirl’s sales have risen approximately 388%!

While Bethenny sold the rights to the drinks to Beam Global in a lucrative deal, she continues to work with them to promote the line and reportedly receives a cut of the profits. And promote them she does – and successfully, it looks like!

Back in 2011, she said that she created the cocktails after realizing how impossible it was to find a low-calorie drink. “I created a sub-category that never existed. I wasn’t an expert — I was just another person bothered by a 700-calorie margarita.”

Bethenny is laughing all the way to the bank as she continues to branch out her Skinnygirl brand to shapewear, cleanses, and who knows what’ll be next!? Roller skates? Budget furniture? $10 glass bowls for holding phone chargers.

In other Bethenny-is-taking-over-the-world news, she shared on Facebook yesterday that her new talk show is set to premiere on June 11th!

She shared: “I’m so excited to announce that my talk show premieres on June 11th on Fox! Want to be in my audience? Get tickets here.”

That’s just two months away, so start planning your L.A. vacays now.
