Are you ready for The Love of Ray J’s season finale this Monday? Well we are! Below is a sneak preview of what’s to come. The rumor is also that one of the three remaining contestants will quit, hmm wondering who that could be?
Chardonnay gave a new interview to VH1 and she covered a lot of things. She talks about her “homie” connection with Ray J, her answers on the lie detector test, plus shockingly denies being a stripper or ever being one which is actually a lie because we have it on good authority that she was once a stripper in Atlanta.
As if her splits and pole climbing on the show were not enough proof, she also admitted to Danger in of the bonus clips on VH1’s website that she is a “dancer.”
Below are some excerpts from her interview -
How was your time on the show?
It was good. It was a learning experience. I didn’t expect it to be exactly like it was with the cameras in your face every second. It was crazy, but it was fun.
What did you think about his assessment that you guys only had a “homey” connection?
He was entitled to his opinion. I respect that, and I respect his decision. We were friends, we are friends and we will forever be friends, basically. I just feel like the situation was misunderstood. I was trying to prove to him that you can have a girl that’s the best of both worlds. They can be your friend, you can go to parties and play basketball together, but you can still have a relationship. I wanted to show him those sides, and I think he might have misunderstood that. But hey, what can I do?
Do you feel like Danger took up his time?
I do, but at the end of the day, it’s a competition. You won’t get your time unless you win dates, and if you don’t win dates, you have to make time in the house. Some girls were more forward than others, but I’m not gonna cling to you and smother you. That’s not me.
What do you think about alcohol defining your character? Was that a fair representation?
I’m not that big of a drinker. If alcohol is there, I’m gonna drink it. What girl would turn down a drink? It’s fun. I’m not an alcoholic, though, and I don’t want to be seen as the alcoholic. Yes, my name is Chardonnay, because that’s my favorite beverage. I don’t drink hard liquor. I like wine. I feel like it’s a classy drink. Throughout the show, yes, I was drinking Chardonnay, but you never saw me drunk. You never saw my head in the toilet and I didn’t get eliminated for being a party girl. So I don’t feel so bad.
You weren’t drunk on the first episode?
I was tipsy! A lady never gets drunk, she gets tipsy.
You were accused of being a stripper. Are you?
No, I am not. That came up on the first episode, and I was like, OK. I didn’t need to explain myself to them. I was not about to prove to them that I’m this or not that. That was none of their business. People can say what they want, but anybody can do a split. A regular person can do a split. If you stretch long enough, you can do a split. Cheerleaders can do a split. It’s not like I’m doing a double cartwheel round-off back handspring, you know?
The question on everyone’s mind is what is up with Danger? She has been accused of being “crazy” by almost everyone on For The Love of Ray J. Even Ray J is quoted as saying “she’s a lil crazy.” So let’s examine what makes Monica Leon aka Danger so “crazy.”
The infamous tattoo – Yes there are not too many people that get tattoos on their faces. The only other famous person with a face tattoo is Mike Tyson. What compels an aspiring model/actress to get a tiger face tattoo? Well you would have to ask Danger that question.
Pregnant by Ray J – Danger gave an interview to the National Enquirer 2 months ago claiming to be pregant by Ray J. According to Danger, “I was locked in a mansion with him and 13 girls from October until the end of December,” she said. “Toward the end of the first week of filming, we made love for the first time – and we slept together every night after that! She continues, “There is no way the baby can be anyone’s but Ray J’s.” Both Ray J and VH1 denied the pregnancy story.
No Longer Pregnant by Ray J – Only 10 days after claiming to be pregnant with Ray J’s baby, Danger takes to her personal blog and simply posted “No, I am not pregnant.” She gave no explanations or reasons for her previous claims. Was her earlier claim to the National Enquirer a made up lie? A cry for attention? A cheap publicity stunt? Well you would once again need to ask Danger that.
Admits to Being A Prostitute- In perhaps the most shocking revelation of all, Danger admitted to having once been a prostitute in an interview she gave 2 months ago. Not only did she admit this, but she posted the interview on her personal blog. The blog has now been deleted. Below is what she had to say about her past -
“I have done pictures, I’ve been an exotic dancer and I’ve also done some prostitution and that’s something that I really didn’t want to just talk about right away cause it’s a scary scary thing, it has such a negative connotation to it. But I was a prostitute for about two and half years, and you know I was making alot of money. I had all this cash, shopping… all this sh-t, you know, nice car, nice place, but it didn’t make me happy,” Danger revealed about her past life.
When asked was she a “high priced” prostitute or “low budget” prostitute, Danger had this to say:
“I sucked d-ck for free, and I’ve gotten 10 grand for it, let’s leave it at that.”
So who admits to being a prostitute in the past and posting it on her blog? Danger does!
Nude Pictures – This is probably one of the more “normal” things Danger has done. Nude photos of her were leaked a while ago. The photos, sometimes artistic were very interesting to say the least. Danger claims these photos were taken when she was 18.
So the question of the moment remains – Is Danger really crazy? or is she just too honest to a fault? Well you can be the judge of that. Or maybe she said it best when she blogged – “I’m a very crazy woman, this is America. There is a war against free thinkers.”
The 22 year old Danger is now engaged to Nick Cannon’s younger brother and continues to work towards becoming a model/actress.
In a new interview with VH1, Feisty aka Elizabeth Mendez from The Love of Ray J talks about her time on the show. Feisty talks about still working at hooters, what she really thought of Danger, and her connection with Ray J. Below are some highlights from her interview -
How was your time on the show?
I had a great time. For me, it was like vacation. Ray J was awesome. I have nothing bad to say about anybody.
People accused you of going on there just for the party. Fair assessment?
I didn’t go there just to party. I went with an open mind. I wanted to meet Ray. But my time there was like a vacation. I went, I drank, I partied, I had a good time.
Did you have any sort of connection with Ray?
To a certain point. I wouldn’t go as far as to say I’d settle down with him. I felt like he didn’t want to settle down, either. We were attracted to each other physically, we had a good time together and that’s where it ended.
Do you drink as much in real life as you do on TV?
I don’t drink everyday. I’m not an alcoholic or anything. But just to be in that house, you need to drink. You’re not working, you’re there to have fun. It was a special occasion. Whenever we went out, I drank, yes, but so what? So did everybody else. I feel like they made that my character, but everyone else drank as much as me.
What did you think of Unique plying you with alcohol so that you’d get drunk and hopefully eliminated?
Now that I’ve seen the episode and the bonus scenes and I watched what everyone was trying to do…I mean, I don’t have any hard feelings. Whatever. It’s fine. She played the game. But it was f***ed up what she said. I trusted her, and now when I see everything that went on behind my back, I feel stupid for trusting the girls. Now I know for future reference not to trust just anybody. That was my downfall.
Do you still work at Hooters?
Do you like it?
I love working at Hooters. It’s good for me, it’s good for my career. I got third place in the bikini contest and the pageant is coming up and I’m doing the 2010 calendar.
You lived up to your name when you had to box Lil’ Hood. Are you a fighter?
No. I’ve never gotten in a physical fight in my life! I like to talk things out. Normally, I just get along with everybody.
Was there anyone you didn’t like?
The only person I clashed with was Cocktail, since she was a bitch and would talk s***. But I just stayed away from her. I said what I had to say, that she was shady, and I got away. I stayed away from Danger. I thought she was crazy when I met her and then she became even more crazy. That’s why I stayed around Unique: she was the most normal one.
Although she kinda snapped on this week’s episode.
I know! When I saw her snap, I was like, “Girl, what are you doing? You’re embarrassing yourself!” I told her to calm the f*** down. I wish they would have included the scene where Danger climbed the tree. She really did that. She wouldn’t sleep. There was one time when she got in the Jacuzzi with her clothes and mic on. I feel like VH1 is giving her way too much credit. They edit Danger to look like she’s the s***. What the f*** is going on?
So now you’re just pursuing acting and modeling?
Yeah. I want to do another reality show, for sure. I would never do another one fighting for a f***ing guy, though. I’m so over that. I want to do a challenge. Something to better myself or win some s***, you know? And I want to do Playboy.
In a new intervew with VH1, Cashmere from The Love of Ray J talks about her time on the show. Below are some highlights from her interview -
How was your time on the show?
Everything was good at first, but then it started getting stressful toward the end.
Did the competition break you down?
Yeah. Just being there, living with the girls and all competing for the same guy. There was a lot of backstabbing going on, and I didn’t feel like it was worth it to stay.
Unique interviewed that you were her puppet and that she was going to use you for her gain. Did you have a sense of that in the house?
I had no clue. We hit it off since Day 1. We were really cool and I trusted her and I had no idea that she was saying stuff like that till the show aired. I was disappointed when I saw that. She was going to play the game, obviously, but I feel like she took it too far. She took it to the point where she was talking about her friends.
What about the much-discussed exposure issue? Was that attractive to you at all?
Kind of. I more went in for Ray, but I knew being on TV, everyone was going to see me. It was killing two birds with one stone.
What about the plot to expose Cocktail’s reality TV past? Were you disappointed she didn’t face any consequences from Ray?
Yeah. I wish he would have gotten more upset with her. I felt like she was running around the house snitching on everyone else, and then when the tables turned, she was so defensive about it. She lied about it in front of him, on top of that. I feel like he was playing favoritism a little bit. At least I showed him I can be there for him getting girls out of the house that didn’t need to be there.
In your exit interview, you said you might regret eliminating yourself one day. Did you?
At first, I didn’t. Now that I’ve seen the show and I’ve seen how he really felt about me, I regret it, yeah. During the show, I was getting mixed signals. At times, I felt like he wasn’t really feeling me. After watching the show and seeing that he really did like me, I wish I would have stayed.
Cocktail was outed as having been on Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club’s first season on this week’s episode, but what VH1 didn’t tell you was that she had also appeared on another reality show! Cocktail aka Joanna Hernandez was also featured on Bravo’s Millionaire’s Matchmaker last year as one of the women looking to date a millionaire.
Cocktail aka Jojo’s biography from the Bad Girls club is below, very interesting. She was a late season replacement for one of the original girls, Ty.
“Joanna appears as a member of the cast in the Oxygen network reality television series The Bad Girls Club. She is 25 years old and a native of Sacramento, California, and grew up in a family of Hispanic descent. Though she makes a living as a go-go dancer, her parents remain supposedly unaware of the job she’s chosen. She has also had breast enhancement surgery, receiving implants in order to further enhance her slim physique. She says that she cheats on her boyfriend, and seeks out sugar daddies to pay her way and get her everything she wants. She refers to herself as a “gold digger,” and says that her mom taught her this attitude, that she should seek out and exploit men who would be willing to provide for her every wish.”
UPDATE - A smart commenter going by the name of Olivia made a great observation that Cocktail was not the girl that appeared on the Millionaire Matchmaker. After watching the video again, it turns out Olivia is correct, and Cocktail has never made an appearance on Millionaire Matchmaker. Thanks Olivia!
Below is a sneak preview of next week’s episode of For The Love of Ray J. The “Good” girls aka Unique and Cashmere plot to get Cocktail out of the house. Cashmere suspects Cocktail has been on a past reality which is correct as we report earlier.
