In other OC news, Simon Barney is defending himself against the accusations of estranged wife Tamra Barney on the last episode. If you recall, Tamra accused Simon of flipping out and harassing her via text messaging over her trip to Spain. Tamra stated he was upset she didn’t tell him about her 10-day vacay with beau Eddie Judge.
Well, Simon denies harassing Tamra and posted the entire text message exchange between the two following that trip on his facebook page. Simon posted the messages along with the following statement –
“I have always tried to be above all the Drama and lies this and last season. This is the one rare time that I have commented about her or the show. That being said… My soon to be ex tells Vicki I was harassing her by text while she was in Spain. So I decided to look back at the texts I sent her when I found out she was in Spain, and my kids were being watch by 4 different people, including a minor. Maybe it’s me, but after reading it and I don’t see the harassment.Do you?”
Well, we’ll let you be the judge. The screen shots of the text messages are below.
Moving on to tonight’s all new episode of the OC Housewives. On the 8th episode this season titled “Kiss and Tell,” Slade celebrates Gretchen’s birthday—poor man’s style. But with the surprise celebration’s inexpensive take-out food comes a shock-and-awe gift. Meanwhile, Peggy and Tamra model at a fashion show, but a surprise awaits Tamra; and a stunning secret is disclosed when former cast member Lynne Curtin works out at Fernanda’s gym.
The episode airs at 10/9c. A preview clip is below.

And judging from the previews, the drama is still alive and well amongst some of the cast members. In fact, Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barneypickup their feud from seasons past tonight when they go at it during a get together after Gretchen refers to Tamra as an “evil bitch.”
Meanwhile, it seems new “housewife” Fernanda Rocha, 34, might be getting the Jennifer Gilbert treatment this season. Who is Jennifer Gilbert you ask? Well, Jennifer was cast to be a housewife on the Real Housewives of NYC last season, only to get the shaft during the season, by being demoted to an extra. Fernanda, who is openly bisexual, is noticeably absent from the official cast photo above, though she does appear in another one.
And when Vicky Gunvalsonwas asked about Fernanda, this is what Vicky had to say – “ [Fernanda]’s not really one of the Housewives. She’s somebody that comes in and socializes with us, but I don’t really know how we’re labeling Fernanda this year. We’ve haven’t really been told. I know her very little still. I don’t work out with her. I don’t socialize with her. She seems like a sweet girl.”
And finally, Alexis Bellino revealed in a recent interview with the E! network that her husband Jim Bellino quit the show. Reason? Jim apparently felt Bravo gave him a “jerk” edit last season. “He’s pretty much against the show,” Alexis revealed. “All they want to do is rip him apart.”
Watch What Happens Live – OC Housewives Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson will be joining Andy Cohen in the Bravo clubhouse tonight.
The Real Housewives of Orange Country premieres at 10 p.m. (EST) on Bravo. Below is a preview clip -

According to the OC Register, Peggy recently defaulted on her home, pictured below.
The home, which was purchased in 2006 for $1,379,000, has a default notice dated Nov. 16, 2010, with records showing the amount in default at $190,713. The loan was for $1 million.
Peggy, a 41-year-old former bikini model and stay-at-home mom, is married to Micah Tanous, who is described as an Internet marketing entrepreneur. Oddly enough, the couple is friends with Jim and Alexis Bellino, who are also currently facing some home loan troubles of their own.
If you recall, the Bellinos also defaulted on their home loan twice last year which led to a foreclosure and some auction dates which Jim and his lawyer were able to get postponed.
The latest auction date, which was set for Feb. 10, did not take place as lender JPMorgan Chase simply canceled the auction and the foreclosure proceedings. Michael York, a lawyer for the Bellinos reveals they were able to come to a deal with Chase.
As for what happens next, the 6-bedroom house is still being offered as a short sale, or for less than what is owed on the loan, with a asking price of $3,395,000. The listing details show that the Bellinos have put over $6 million into the home.
And despite the fact that his clients defaulted on a home loan twice and were in foreclosure, York denies Alexis and Jim are having any financial problems in the statement below given to the OC Register.
“Some media reports have speculated that Mr. and Mrs. Bellino are having financial problems, which have resulted in issues between them and Chase. The speculation is inaccurate. Mr. and Mrs. Bellino do not have and have never had financial problems, and the issues between them and Chase are due to good business decisions that Mr. and Mrs. Bellino have made, not financial problems.”
Right… The Real Housewives of OC – Like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but without all the money.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST NEWS INVOLVING PEGGY AND ALEXIS?
Weeks after originally filing bankruptcy, RadarOnline is now reporting that Simon Barney’s bid has been rejected.
If you recall, the Real Housewives of Orange County star and estranged husband of Tamra Barney, filed bankruptcy back in December 2010. He petitioned for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, citing the nature of his debts as “primarily consumer debts incurred by an individual primarily for a personal, family, or household purpose.”
Simon revealed he had between 1-49 creditors, with assets and liabilities between $50,001 to $100,000. According to Radar, the bulk of Simon’s debt was in the form of credit cards, with a claim from Chase Bank to the tune of $20,640.00.
Chapter 13 doesn’t dismiss one’s debts but rather allows individuals to undergo a financial reorganization supervised by the courts. As for the reason Simon’s bankruptcy was rejected, it was because Simon “failed to file schedules, statements and/or plan for the bankruptcy.”
In other news, OC housewife Alexis Bellino recently celebrated her 34th birthday. Her pal and costar Gretchen Rossi helped throw her a small birthday bash and according to Alexis’ facebook, her husband Jim Bellino dropped by to surprise her.
Photos from Alexis’ birthday outing below, and the 6th season of the Real Housewives of Orange Countyreturns March 6 on Bravo. Vicki Gunvalsontweeted a few days ago, “Is back in Orange County!!! Are you excited when we return in March?! Make sure you have your kleenex out!”

Though the Register adds that there’s a good chance the auction will not take place at all as Jim managed to find a technical loophole file bankruptcy for his company Global Marine Inc. a few weeks ago. The company just manages to hold the title to his house.
The 6,400-square foot, 6-bedroom house is currently listed for sale at $3,395,000, a far cry from the $4.56 million they paid in August 2007. The debt on the home is reportedly $4.7 million. You can see pictures of the home here. The Bellinos defaulted on the home loan twice last year, though they now claim they are still negotiating with the bank.
In other OC news, two weeks after a tentative ruling, an OC judge has officially ruled thatGretchen Rossi should pay her ex Jay Photoglou $40,799 in legal fees. This is in addition to the $22,000 she was also forced to pay him last May.
Gretchen had tried to sue Jay for defamation but is now just suing for assault, battery, stalking and other alleged offenses. Jay had asked for $85,000 in attorney fees, but the judge only awarded him half because a good portion of the lawsuit against him is still ongoing.
Jay’s attorney is however calling this new ruling a win. “We just keep getting victories, and we look to get more of them if she makes the decision to keep going with this case,” his attorney, Bryan J. Freedmantold E! News. “We’re pleased,” he continued. “They tried to challenge the amount, they were unsuccessful, and the judge made the right ruling. And I have no doubt she’ll appeal it, and we look forward to her losing that also and paying more attorney’s fees for yet another poor decision.”
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE AUCTION POSTPONEMENT AND THE JUDGE’S RULING?
The lawsuit which was filed in Orange County Superior Court in April 2009, alleges fraud, deceit, wrongful foreclosure, breach of written contracts and other complaints.
According to the suit, Jim, his lawyer Michael York, and California Empire Funding Corporation wrongfully foreclosed on a Laguna Beach property called the InVogue Hotel. The couple behind the suit, Shashi Tejpaul and Gail Duncan, are saying that despite making payments on the property and getting a written and verbal agreement from Jim and his lawyer, they still elected to foreclose on the property.
Jim, 48, and his lawyer York, who also happens to be his brother-in-law, however deny the allegations stating Tejpaul and Duncan made misrepresentations to obtain the loan, used the money for other purposes and stopped making payments on their loan.
Jim and his company have also filed a counter suit against Tejpaul and Duncan alleging fraud amongst other things.
The fraud suit against Jim is set to go to trial Jan. 10, which happens to be the same date the bank is planning to hold an auction on Alexis and Jim’s home which is still in foreclosure. The auction date was postponed to Jan. 10 after Jim filed bankruptcy protection for his company Global Marine Inc., which just happens to hold the title to the Bellino home.
The Bellinos’ attorney also tells RadarOnline that Jim and Alexis are not going down without a fight as they are now considering suing Chase Bank. “Right now we’re considering legal action against Chase, regarding the fact that they changed the terms of their loan modification agreement,” said York.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST WITH THE BELLINOS?
The OC Register is reporting that just 2 days before his home with wife Alexis Bellino, 32, was scheduled to go on the auction block due to foreclosure, Jim filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for his company.
Jim is reportedly the president of Global Marine, Inc. — a single-asset real estate corporation. The 7-page document filed Wednesday at U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California states that “after any exempt property is excluded and administrative expenses paid, there will be no funds available to unsecured creditors.”
So how much exactly does Jim’s company owe? Well that is not yet clear as the bankruptcy filing simply states the estimated number of creditors is between 1 and 49, and the estimated assets of Global Marine, Inc. are between $1,000,001 and $10 million.
The OC Register is also reporting the Bellinos’ auction date on their soon to be foreclosed Newport Beach home has been postponed to Jan. 10. The reason being due to Jim’s bankruptcy filing. You can see photos of that home here.
When contacted by the Register on Friday for a comment, Jim said “No comment” and hung up the phone.
