Think we're the only ones watching the heavenly hoopla that is Preachers of L.A.? Of course not! The reality show has gotten people talking about praise, prayer, and prosperity preachers who seem to be making more money than God through their ministries.
Reality star veteran Omarosa is also urging viewers to tune into Oxygen's latest offering. The former Apprentice villain is no stranger to non-scripted drama, and she is also now an assistant pastor at a Baptist Church.
Original Apprentice villain Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth has suffered yet another loss. Her fiancé, Academy Award nominated actor Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a heart attack and passed away yesterday morning.
The actor, 54, who was engaged to Omarosa, apparently never recovered from a myocardial infarction he suffered on July 13th, according to TMZ.
Omarosa discovered Michael in cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home and performed CPR which kept the actor alive until paramedics arrived on the scene. He was convalescing in a hospital and unfortunately passed away there.
The local newspaper reports that Jack, 40, was shot several times, including a fatal shot to the head, after his home was broken into by a man who was previously dating Jack’s current girlfriend.
Omarosa has asked for privacy during this time and released the following statement: “We thank everyone for their amazing outpouring of support surrounding the tragic death of my brother Jack. … Right now it is an extremely difficult time and we ask that you allow family privacy to grieve and make all necessary arrangements.”
The assailant, Marco Cardenas, who is currently on probation for a felony breaking and entering case, forced his way into the home of Jack Manigault and ran into the bedroom where he fired several shots. He was arrested shortly after the murder and found armed.
Jack, who served a 2 ½ year prison sentence for aggravated assault and was arrested in 2003 for obstructing official business and possession of drugs and weapons, has since turned his life around according to family.
Of her brother, Omarosa remembers: “My brother was so special to us! We loved him unconditionally and we were so proud of him when he turned his life around and gave his life to God two years ago.”
Our sympathies are with the family in the wake of this incredible tragedy. May he rest in peace.
The finale of Donald Trump Presents The Ultimate Merger aired last night and surprise! She ended up picking no one.
Well not exactly surprising since Omarosa has been publicly dating actor Michael Clarke Duncan for the past few months. The two have attended numerous public events together and were photographed above as recently as July 25th.
On the finale last night, bachelor Charles Parker returned with a ring letting Omarosa know that he wanted more air time another chance with her. Omarosa allowed Charles back on the show leading to the finale showdown with Charles, Al B Sure and Ray Lavender.
Charles was the first to be eliminated followed by Al. And when it seemed like Ray had won Omarosa’s heart, he was also eliminated.
It seems Omarosa was making way for a season two as she tweeted this morning that a reunion show and second season was in the works. “Thank you for all of your wonderful messages- the SHOW is a HIT!! I will keep you posted on the reunion show and on Season 2 casting. xoxo!” wrote Omarosa.
In other news, Last man standing and R&B singer Ray Lavender did a video interview with TVOne during which he dished on his relationship with Omarosa, and his marital status.
On The Status of His Relationship Today With Omarosa – “Me and Omarosa are very good friends, we’re very cool. She’s a dear friend to me, a great lady.”
On The Status of His Marriage and Divorce – “The status of my divorce is still pending, I’m still going through it… I’m at a point right now in my life were if it’s fixable, I’ll try to fix it.” Ray then added, “That’s not saying I’m going to stay married or get divorced but I am going to talk it out. I will talk it out but right now it’s still pending. “
On His Advice For Michael Clarke Duncan – “My advice for Michael Clarke Duncan, you got your hands full brother, you got your hands full. She’s a great lady, watch her. As long as I’m out here man, you might want to put one of those lo jacks on her, cause whenever I’m back she might be there,” said a laughing Ray.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE SHOW? ON OMAROSA’S CHOICE ON THE FINALE? WOULD YOU WATCH A SECOND SEASON?
Reality show bitch villain Omarosais dishing about her life in a new interview with Vibe.
The 36-year-old star of her dating show, The Ultimate Merger, opens up about her past marriage, her calling to be a minister and also discusses her infamous feud with Bethenny Frankel of the Real Housewives of NYC.
And despite being photographed at various events with actor Michael Clarke Duncan, Omarosa claims she is still dating the winner of her show.
Excerpts from her interview below -
In all your press over the years nobody ever mentioned that you’re Nigerian. What does your name mean?
My full name is Omorosaonee; it’s a Yoruba name that means, ‘my beautiful child desired.’ My father’s family is Nigerian my mother is American. I do recognize where I’m from and my lineage. I mean you look at my cheekbones, you look at my fierce fighting spirit and attitude—you know exactly where I’m from. I went to Nigeria three years ago and did a whole press tour there for about three weeks and helped to launch an ApprenticeAfrica. It was pretty exciting.
When we first met you on Season 1 of The Apprentice you wanted to work for Donald Trump, when did you discover you wanted to be a minister?
I got my calling two years ago, I didn’t respond to my call immediately but that’s when I got it. I absolutely want to be a minister. I’ve been doing missionary work around the world for the last five years; work in Haiti and for the homeless. Wherever God calls me, wherever he leads me that is where I’ll go, and if he eventually leads me to a church that’s where I’ll be.
The Ultimate Merger was completed last year, which means you’ve already shot the reunion special and found your man. I know you can’t reveal the ending but are you really saying you’ve married someone from the show?
That was my intention to find love. I went all the way in, one hundred percent [with this show.] The hardest part is not being able to be seen [in public] with the person that you ultimately chose. It’s been seven months since we’ve finished the show and we’ve [my new guy and I] have had to do some sneaking and creeping around because we can’t disclose who the winner is. So that’s been interesting.
So what would say went wrong with your first marriage?
My ex-husband and I married very young. I was 22; about to turn 23, he was in his early twenties. We were college sweethearts at Howard University and we had no clue what it took to make a marriage work. A benefit of recognizing that early enough was that we could decide amicably to go our separate ways. And we still have a good relationship.
You called Bethenny Frankel (from Bethenny’s Getting Married? and Real Housewives of New York) a “twit” recently. How did that all come about?
Bethenny Frankel was on The View and she was actually being complimented by Sherri Shepherd who said, ‘Bethenny you were on the Martha Stewart Apprentice and now you’ve got your own show and you’re doing your own thing. You’re utilizing this opportunity like Omarosa.’ And then Bethany says, ‘I’m not like Omarosa, she’s just famous for being infamous, she doesn’t have a real career I have a real career.’ It was really crazy stuff because Bethenny was a friend. She called after Martha Stewart Apprentice and asked me, ‘What can I do to extend my fifteen minutes of fame?’ Martha Stewart Apprentice had like two viewers, and The Apprentice had 28 million viewers— so who has the real career? Don’t get me started. That arrogance and the idea that [Bethenny thinks she has] this superiority [over me], it just baffles me, really baffles me. I mean this girl was a cocktail waitress five years ago; I worked in The White House. I mean really, who has the real career?
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE LAST EPISODE AND TONIGHT’S EPISODE?
Reality villainess Omarosa Stallworth’s dating show premiered last week on TV One. The show, officially titled Donald J. Trump Presents The UltimateMerger, follows Omarosa’s quest to find love amongst 12 eligible bachelors.
Omarosa, 36, who is mostly known for her role on the first season of The Apprentice, describes her new venture with Donald Trump as “a mix between ‘The Apprentice’ and ‘The Bachelorette.'”
Donald and Omarosa reportedly developed the show together.“When you have a development project with ‘the Donald’ you don’t pass it up,” Omarosa told BV Newswire. “Donald is invested in me and seeing me succeed and you have to have someone who is going to look after your success.”
As for the show, it was revealed in premiere episode that Omarosa has a history with two of the bachelors. Omarosa revealed she had briefly dated Charles Parker, a foreign currency trader whom she refers to as a “player,” and R&B singer Al B. Sure, who Omarosa notes, “didn’t seal the deal” the first time around.
Another notable bachelor on the show is CJ Miller, who appeared on the first season of ABC’s True Beauty.
When it comes to the direction of the dating show, Omarosa makes it clear her show is distinct from the others. “I really enjoyed the whole franchise, from ‘Flavor of Love’ to ‘Ray J,’ and I think there’s a place for that type of program, but this one is kind of different. Ain’t nobody passing out roses or writing poetry,’ she laughed.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE BACHELORS AND THE SHOW?
She’s baaaack! Known as perhaps the most famous bitch villain in the history of reality television, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth is getting her own reality show.
More surprising is that Omarosa’s new reality show has her teaming up with her former boss Donald Trump, who’s producing the new series for the TV One network. The upcoming show, titled Omarosa’s Ultimate Merger is a dating showing, and will feature the Queen B herself finding a mate. She’ll be choosing from a dozen potential suitors.
“Omarosa was a great personality on The Apprentice that was watched by over 40 million people as it became the No. 1 show on TV,” says Trump. “Omarosa is smart, witty and difficult, but all of those qualities will make for some very interesting entertainment.”
This new show will added to the long list of Omarosa’s reality tv resume. In addition to her previous appearances on The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice, she has also appeared on The Surreal Life, the Battle of the Network Reality Stars and made brief appearances on Fear Factor, Celebrity Poker Showdown and I Love New York.
