Speaking to The Grio, Porsha says her motto this season was be true to yourself. "That's exactly what I did – I just forgot about the cameras and lived life," she explains. "When you went through something and you feel like it happened because you weren't true to yourself, that's just what you do: you be true to yourself." If the way she's been acting is her "true self" she should not be bragging…
Porsha also admits the divorce and subsequent financial drama was very taxing and she totally fell apart. "A breakdown was happening back then, but I've reached the break through," she shares. "It was hard to watch some of the first episodes but as I see myself evolve I become stronger and stronger."
Porsha recently admitted that not only is she dating but she's found someone special. Of course the new man is not just some ordinary random, Porsha reveals that because he's "well known" she's keeping her name – and the relationship – under wraps for now!
“There’s someone that I think is very special. He’s kind of standing out of the pack right now, so we’ll see how that turns out,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Radar Online.
According to Kordell's attorney Porsha was threatening to stay a "Stewart" despite the divorce because her professional image was attached to the name, but she's now decided to take NeNe Leakes' advice and ditch the last name.
"Kordell was very concerned about the damage it could cause," TMZ reports, "however, she reconsidered and decided to restore her maiden name, Williams."
Kordell has adamantly denied them and no proof has ever surfaced confirming Slash's sexuality, but that didn't stop Porsha from airing her grievances and expressing her hurt. The man did slash their marriage on Twitter, after all!
Last season Porsha Stewart's storyline was all about being the perfect wife. And this season it's all about getting divorced from her former king, Kordell Stewart.
Kordell filed for a wham-bam-thankyou-mam divorce shortly before last season's Real Housewives of Atlanta stopped airing. Reportedly one major point in contention in their relationship was Porsha's desire to continue with the show that made both of them look bad when he wanted her to return to the wifey role! Can't keep a wannabe fameho down, Kontroll!
Since then the two have been bickering majorly and splashing it all over the media! In the recent promo for this season's RHOA (seen below!), Porsha comments that their marriage was strained and hints that the rumors that Kordell may be 'on the down low' are true. "Kordell didn't necessarily want me physically," Porsha is quoted as saying. "And that made me wonder, what does he want?"
I don't know about you, but I have a very special place in my heart for the ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I feel like we've seen them change the most, and while they are every bit as dramatic as their Bravo counterparts (sometimes more), the don't seem as one dimensional as some of the other franchise's housewives.
While we wait for their return, the least I can do is makes sure you get the women in small doses. Recently, Kandi Burruss posted a vlog interview on her website where she talks about cast shake-ups and marriage break-ups. In true Kandi fashion, she makes sure that she maintains a very neutral stance on NeNe Leake's comments on the reunion about wanting out with old and in with the new as far as the ladies are concerned. She also stays very measured when asked about Porsha and Kordell Stewart's divorce.
Things are very Gone with the Wind Fabulous for Real Housewives of Atlanta'sKenya Moore as the eviction suit against her heats up…and speaking of heating up, there is some pretty scandalous gossip surrounding Porsha Stewart that is making the rounds. We'll have more on that in a bit! First, let's start with the former Miss USA's legal woes.
After neither Kenya nor her lawyer showed up in court to fight the eviction, she claimed that she never received notice of the hearing. Now, her former landlord Conya Dillon is asking for an expedited hearing, and she's not fooling around. In her legal documents, Conya calls out Kenya for using the eviction proceedings to prolong her fifteen minutes of fame.
Radar has obtained court filings Kenya's landlord accuses her former tenant of violating the terms of her lease fifteen different times, as well as causing “extreme emotional distress as the result of the delay [of the eviction] and the defendant’s malicious and intentional [character] attacks."
A Fulton County Judge has ordered Kordell Stewartto pay his wife $5,000 a month in spousal support for the duration of their divorce proceedings. It wasn't as much as Porsha had hoped for, as she was asking for $7,500, but it's still a win, even if only temporary!
Kordell was also ordered to return all of Porsha's personal property or pay for a storage unit for her things.
