Someone once told me if you have nothing nice to say; say nothing at all. Well, unfortunately I’m not at liberty to do that – sorry Real Housewives Of Orange County. I have nothing nice to say about any of you, and the thought of holding it all in makes me want to cry like I’m Meghan Edmonds fake-sobbing in a canyon. Maybe Meghan’s tears were instal-dried by the wind or evaporated. Or plastic people make plastic tears which just clog in their tear ducts and until they’re plucked out and thrown away.
Meghan and Vicki Gunvalson aren’t so different, are they? It’s ME ME ME all the TIME TIME TIME. No one understands and blah, blah, blah…
It’s getting hard to root for anyone in the cast on Real Housewives of Orange County. This season is lackluster. Nothing is really happening and everyone is really stuck in the past- something that Peggy Sulahian said that I actually agree with (for once). In real life it would make a lot of sense for these women to be upset with each other, but as far as keeping this show going, it’s tough to just watch them talk about the same shit over and over again.
And one person who is all about bringing up the past is self-proclaimed private investigator Meghan Edmonds. Was Meghan just being a good friend or was she just stirring shit up for the sake of a story line during that last episode?
It’s been a grueling season of trench warfare on The Real Housewives Of Orange County, and Vicki Gunvalson thinks it’s time everyone just gets over themselves for the sake of moving forward. I couldn’t agree more! Even though Vicki still sees herself as the perpetual victim of everyone’s “false” accusations, she seems willing to lay aside her differences with Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador for the good of the order.
Vicki also thinks Kelly Dodd is a loyal friend, even if Kelly is laying down her sword with Shannon. Vicki comments, “I was glad to see Shannon and Kelly attempting on making amends at the Irish drinking night. There has been so much back and forth backstabbing that it’s exhausting to witness and be a part of.”
Just like many Real Housewives before her, Tamra Judge is defying age. Thanks to her dedication to fitness and an on point face lift, Tamra is killing it as a fifty year old. So of course she had a lot to celebrate.
Tamra, her husband Eddie Judge, and some of their friends went to Carmel after flights to Cabo were cancelled. Tamra also continued the celebrations at home with her family and at work at her gym.
And it all came to head with an argument between Meghan and Kelly Dodd at drag queen bingo. Lydia was visibly uncomfortable at the event and that was before all the arguing went down. It was her first time around drag queens and there is no doubt that she will be asked about her discomfort at the reunion. When the arguing began, Lydia couldn’t take it anymore, even though she has been on this show before. Shouldn’t she know that there is always an argument at every group gathering? Apparently not.
Part of me really appreciates that because there is nothing else going on this season and at least she’s actually interacting with every cast member instead of refusing to film with them…unlike some people. On the other hand, this is all unnecessary drama and straight up child’s play in comparison to the story lines of the past. Yes, Kelly Dodd took things to a hostile place (yet again) by mentioning Meghan’s baby during the last episode, but it can also be argued that Meghan was the bigger shit stirrer that episode.
Meghan Edmonds tries hard, y’all, but when dealing with women who act like babies, she’s facing an impossible task. Especially because motherhood and babies are so boring and exhausting. In response to Kelly Dodd‘s accusation that she is a pot-stirring absentee mother, Meghan insists she’s been nothing but a great friend to Kelly and didn’t deserve having her character attacked.
After being the one who helped Kellymake amends with Shannon Beador, Meghan was shocked to find herself “the one under fire.” Now she recognizes that everyone getting along was “too good to be true.” Never rest on your Housewives laurels as they say!
Usually the mention of a Real Housewives vacation incites thoughts of grown women fighting over which room they get to sleep in at a mansion, explosive arguments at group dinners, or even a wild turn up. In all honesty, these trips seem more exhausting than relaxing, so it is no surprise that the Housewives seem to be a million times more relaxed when they take vacations in their real lives away from the cast.
Most of the Real Housewives escaped from real life to enjoy the long Labor Day Weekend with their friends and families.
