Bachelorette Men: Ed Talked About Having A Girlfriend

The latest issue US Weekly brings us another not so flattering cover story for Jillian Harris and her fiance, Ed Swiderski. The issue focuses on how Ed was able to trick and manipulate Jillian, while juggling his two other girlfriends.

A few of The Bachelorette contestants tell US Weekly they heard Ed talk about having a girlfriend back home. Wes Hayden is one of the men speaking out, and he would know a thing or two this topic, considering he was accused of having a girlfriend while on the show as well. Below are some of what the guys are saying –

Wes Hayden – “Dave [Good] and I both remember Ed saying he had a girlfriend,” says Hayden, who also was accused of having a girlfriend while on the show. “But we are not the kind who are going to run our mouths.”

Michael Stagliano – “There was definitely something, I can’t put my finger on it, where I did think, I’m not going to be best friends with this guy. Ed’s a shady character.”

Jesse Kovacs – Bachelorette contestants are required to relinquish cellphones and laptops on the show to keep interaction lively among the participants. But because of Ed’s job as a Microsoft consultant, he “had an agreement” to keep both “because it was imperative for him to have access for work.”

Reid Rosenthal – Says some contestants knew Ed was bad news and “didn’t care to hang out with him.”

The cover story also claims Reid Rosenthal still has feelings for Jillian. Nothing will likely come from that as Reid is the front runner to become the new Bachelor, and Jillian has no plans of ending things with Ed.
