Teen Mom star Maci Bookout graces this week’s cover of OK magazine under the heading – “Back With Ryan!”
In a new interview with the mag, Maci and her son’s father Ryan Edwards discuss reuniting and co-parenting Bentley. According to OK, Maci has broken up with her boyfriend Kyle King, 22, while Ryan has also broken up with his girlfriend Kathryn — who has appeared with him on the show.
“I’m taking a break. I guess she wanted more,” Ryan tells OK! about his break up, adding that he and Maci have talked about getting back together. “Maci calls to this day and wants to work it out,” Ryan, 21, reveals. “Everybody says that [she’s still in love with me].”
In other Teen Mom news, Amber Portwood also graces this week’s cover of US Weekly magazine (Why are these “teen moms” being rewarded with magazine covers?) and discusses her violent attack on ex-fiance Gary Shirley in a recent episode.
“A lot has changed,” says Amber, now in couple counseling with Gary. “I haven’t hit him since that fight.” As reported last week, Amber is currently being investigated by her local police department and child protective services following the domestic violence episode.
“When I see myself in that position, it really opens my eyes,” Amber says. “I want to stop it, because I don’t want to be like that.” Amber reveals she’s working with a counselor “on how to calm down when things happen,” she reports. “We are getting close to finding a solution…If I get mad, I always try to think about Leah and how an [outburst] will affect her.”
As for her current relationship status with Gary (RadarOnline reported last week that the two were back together), Amber says things are up in the air with the two. “I do love this man…but if we keep fighting then we can’t move forward,” she adds.
