For the second season in a row, Nene Leakes found herself on the receiving end of major backlash from fans of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Following her tour bus fight with costar Kim Zolciak and shameful display in Miami, Nene has received criticism for her behavior on the show. And now in her latest Bravo blog, Nene attempts to defend herself, while also letting her fans know she is actually the victim of her costars. According to Nene, all of her fellow housewives have “formed an alliance” against her with the exception of Cynthia who Nene feels is the only one who “has a brain of her own.” Oh the irony.

There are so many issues I could address over the past few weeks with these ladies, but I choose not to because it’s easy to attack and judge! Those of you who have formed an opinion, nothing I say will change that! For those of you who love me, you will continue to do so. These ladies have apparently formed an alliance except for Cynthia who happens to have a brain of her own. I don’t have the energy nor do I have the time to stoop to their level of ignorance. I understand that everything about me is under attack. From the color of my polish to the style of my shoes because I’m a threat! I refuse to follow the leader. I am the leader! I have a take charge attitude so that makes me fierce competition… I’m a star in the sky so I’ll just stay up high because through it all, I’m still standing! Thanks for all the comments, the good and the bad.
Allrighty. Whatever helps Nene sleep at night. Meanwhile, things between Nene and Kim continues to deteriorate as the two, well mostly Nene, attacked each other on twitter Sunday night.
While Kim appeared on WWHL on Sunday, Nene wrote numerous tweets calling her a “trashy whore” and claiming she plays the victim role. Andy read one of the tweets to Kim on the show, after which she said Nene needs to leave her alone and worry about her warrants.
However, the most notable tweet from Nene came when a fan asked, “What u think abt Kim being preggo?” Nene tweeted back, “3 kids by 3 different daddys & no husband is nothing 2 b all happy about.” Ouch. Oddly enough, Nene has made the same claim at least three times in the past week alone on twitter, while Kim has yet to deny it. Nene has also yet to deny Kim’s claims that she has warrants.
And finally, the finale episode of the RHOA shattered all kinds of records for Bravo. With over 4.37 million viewers tuning in, it was the most watched Housewives episode ever in the history of the network. But even before the finale aired, RHOA had surpassed the Real Housewives of New Jersey to once again become the highest rated housewives series, averaging 3.5 million viewers per episode this season.
The Atlanta housewives reportedly received $100,000 each for season 2, and $150,000 each for their 3rd season. It’s safe to assume that amount will increase even more for season 4. Even safer to assume there will be a 4th season.
