Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood Loses Primary Custody; Home Vandalized

The Teen Mom who just won’t go away, Amber Portwood, has now lost primary custody of her daughter Leah.

TMZ is reporting that an Indiana judge has awarded primary custody to the lesser of two evils Leah’s father, Gary Shirley. This decision was not based on Amber’s fitness as a parent, but rather on the recent vandalism of her home and car. Child Protective Services believes that Gary can best provide a safer environment for young Leah at this time.

US Weekly reported that Amber’s car was recently spray painted with the words “slut,” “hoe,” and “f***er” and her house was egged. Amber had apparently been spending time with her neighbor Midas Fields. The word is that Jamie Monroe (the girlfriend Midas mooches off lives with who is the mother of his child) was less than thrilled about this, and accused Amber of stealing her baby daddy.

Leah’s mother revealed, “Amber is upset at the vandalism. [She] was forced to call the police, at around 3 a.m., when she came home with her aunt and Midas from a dinner.” Um, dinner? 3 a.m.?

Amber’s mother continues, addressing the relationship between her daughter and Midas, saying he has a “crush” on her daughter. However, she elaborates that Amber is “still seeing Gary, although they’re not officially back together.” Apparently both Amber and Gary are in agreement (thank goodness) with this new arrangement, and Amber will have visitation rights pursuant to a yet to be determined schedule.
