Dancing With The Stars Elimination Results! Plus, All-Star Season Confirmed!

Last night’s Dancing with the Stars results show wasn’t exactly a nail-biter, but it wasn’t clear who would wind up coming out a finalist. The final four contestants are all solid contenders at this point.

To kick things off, Cheryl Burke and William Levy are chosen to do their dance again. It was hot and spicy and energetic again.

We find out right away that Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas are headed to the finals. I’m surprised by it since their second performance on Monday night was just so-so, but the fans must’ve furiously dialed in.

Pros Tristan MacManus and Chelsie Hightower steam up the ballroom floor after being chosen for the Macy’s Design a Dance. Two pros dancing together is fun to watch and I’m sure it’s fun for them to perform because there’s less pressure.

After a song by Alanis Morissette, we find out that Maria Menounos and Derek Hough are in jeopardy. Secretly, part of me relishes in the thought that they might be eliminated.

Julianne Hough is in the house to promote her new movie, Rock of Ages, in which she co-stars with Russell Brand and Tom Cruise. That performance is followed up by some more album promotion, this time by Carrie Underwood. Was I the only one who couldn’t make out a big chunk of the lyrics?

It’s announced that William and Cheryl are in the finals, leaving Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd in jeopardy and up against Maria and Derek.

After the 12,000th commercial break, we’re put out of our misery – Donald and Peta have made it to the finals! Buhhhbye to Maria and Derek!

Now I’m torn who to cheer for, as I love all three of the finalists!

The Final Three:

Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd

Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas

William Levy and Cheryl Burke

In other DWTS news this morning, ABC has confirmed that this fall will be an ‘All-Star Season’!

“We can’t talk about the casting yet, but I’d love to see some of the fan favorites from the past seasons come back.”

Hmmmm…Kate Gosselin, anyone?
