Bachelorette Surprises: Ashley Hebert And JP Rosenbaum Are Planning A Fall Wedding! Plus, Is Emily Maynard A Liar?

Bachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum recently celebrated their one-year anniversary.  They met and fell in love on the seventh season of the Bachelorette.  Now they’re planning a wedding!

Not surprisingly, ABC will air the fall wedding. “It will be filmed as a special, and Chris Harrison will host,” a source tells Life & Style. “I want it to be a big celebration,” reveals Ashley. “My dream is for it to be outside in a big open field, very down-to-earth.”

JP says, “I want to give her the wedding of her dreams and will be involved as much or as little as she wants.”

We first met Ashley on Brad Womack’s second go as the Bachelor.  Brad ultimately chose brokenhearted single mom Emily Maynard to be his roll in the hay and/or bride. Well, the bride part didn’t work out, and now Emily is wrapping up her run as the Bachelorette. Yes, the Bachelor “family” is a bit incestuous.

Emily Maynard claims she was engaged to the late Ricky Hendrick when he died in a plane crash in 2004.  Shortly after the NASCAR driver’s death, Emily found out she was pregnant. RadarOnline is reporting that a source close to NASCAR is questioning Emily. “She was Ricky’s girlfriend, but I was not aware of a proposal or an engagement. It seems like the rest of America is buying into her Hollywood story,” the source said.

“She is just trying to be famous and by making the choice to go on that show she isn’t respecting Ricky or his family,” the source said. “None of Ricky’s family or friends have been on the show.  All of his friends are famous race car drivers and the producers wanted Emily to have some of his friends on the show but they refused because they didn’t want to associate with her.”

“The tight-knit folks in the NASCAR don’t want to have anything to do with Emily,” says the source. “They’ve watched her lifestyle choices and they don’t approve.” Those closest to Emily, including Ricky’s parents, believe the attention has gone to her head, exploding her ego.  She’s exploiting herself, her daughter Ricki, and the Hendrick name for the sake of fame.

Emily better hope she finds “the one” as the Bachelorette. If not, she’s going to be very lonely in the coming months, as she’s successfully alienated most of the people who once cared for her.  Ashley and JP beat the odds, perhaps Emily will too.  If not, maybe Chris Harrison will help Emily lick her wounds.

Despite grumblings about a boring season and questions about Emily’s sincerity, the ratings were up 9% last week for the hometown dates.  Emily eliminated Chris Bukowski.  Her final three men are Arie Luydendyk, Jr., Sean Lowe, and Jef Holm. The “most dramatic finale ever” airs Sunday, July 22.
