Well, this is awkward! Perhaps we won't be seeing Kim Kardashian trying to upstage her sister Khloe on her new X Factor gig, given that her ex-husband (the first one, not Kris Humphries) will be one of the mentors on the upcoming season.
Damon Thomas, who has nothing but not nice things to say about his ex-wife, is going to be a fixture once Khloe starts her hosting gig along side Mario Lopez. I may have to actually tune into the next season to see the whole uncomfortable dynamic of it all! How horrifically amazing! I bet Kris Jenner is beside herself. Loves it!

For Khloe, the excitement of landing the hosting gig may be short lived when she learns that she'll be sharing the spotlight with her family's nemesis. However, her initial reaction to learning that she would be working on the X Factor was sheer excitement. Khloe says, "I was with Kourtney and Kim, we were in Miami, I was screaming in the car, everyone was screaming – it was kind of chaos."
According to Radar Online, Damon is a big name music producer whose net worth is estimated at $45 million, and he's worked with the likes of Pink and Babyface. Of his fame loving ex-wife to whom he was married from 2000 to 2004, he once said, "She can't write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media." Ouch!
An insider close to the show tells the site, "We’re sure Simon [Cowell] is going to have great fun with this. You know the tension is going to be unbelievable between Khloe and Damon."
Wow, dare I say once again that this is going to be fabulous? Best case scenario, Khloe and Damon will become besties, sending Kim into fits of rage. Can't you just picture it?
