Sorry, Adam Levine! It seems you may be in the minority regarding your thoughts on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. In fact, Barbara Walters (did you know she's 83? Wow!) just named Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson as one of her Most Fascinating People of 2012. That's quite a designation.
While many people are turned off by the forklift foot, sketti recipe, and dumpster diving, that's just what this family does…it's not who they are. They are gross, but they truly seem to care about one another while not caring a lick about what anyone else thinks. I find that totally refreshing. Remember, different doesn't mean bad. I've been redeckognizing since the first episode!

The journalist explains the mother-daughter bond between Alana and June to UsWeekly, saying, "It's a love story. It's a very sweet, loving story."
Barbara continues, "A lot of people will say, 'For heaven's sake, this is ridiculous, this is a child at 5 or 6 years old entering beauty contests. But the relationship between Alana and her mother — that's the story, the two of them. It's very touching."
Overlooking the Guess the Breath game, some less than stellar manners, and hanging out barefoot at the Kuntry Stoe, Barbara has nothing but love for the family. She shares, "Honey Boo Boo is not an obnoxious little girl. She's sweet and loving with her mother and loving with her sisters [Jessica, Lauryn and Anna].
