16 and Pregnant star Brooke Smitherman-Tarrant and her husband, Cody Tarrant, welcomed their second child this week.
Brooke and Cody announced the news by posting a photo of their sweet baby girl on their Facebook fan page. Born on December 18, Ryley Jean joins big brother Brody Ryan. Brody will be three in January. While Brody is a combination of Brooke and Cody's first names, Ryley was created by merging the couple's middle names, which are Ryan and Ashley.
Brooke and Cody were featured on Season 2B. The couple got married before Brody was born (a first on 16 and Pregnant) and bought a barn house (the barn is the only reason I remember these two!).

Following the pregnancy announcement and the negativity that ensued, Brooke's mom defended her on Facebook:
Just to clear up a few issues here… Brooke and Cody were together 1 1/2 years before she got pregnant with Brody. They have been married almost 3 years. They both have good jobs, they own their home, have 3 good vehicles, are great parents to Brody and not on any form of welfare. They have very good insurance through their jobs. They pay their own bills. This is a planned pregnancy, Brooke had her IUD removed the end of March. They wanted Brody and the new baby somewhere close to 3 years apart, which they feel is a good distance between the two. So yes, this is a family to celebrate. Breaking all the negative statistics.
Brooke is the third girl from 16 & Pregnant to have a second child. Jordan Ward-Finder (season three) gave birth to a girl in November 2011 and Ebony Jackson-Rendon (season one) gave birth to a girl in October 2012.
Season 3′s Danielle Cunningham and Season 4′s Kristina Robinson-Head are currently pregnant. Teen Mom 2's Leah Messer-Calvert is also pregnant again.

Also, since the show began, two girls have suffered a miscarriage (Leah and Ebony) and two girls have had an abortion.
