Real Housewives Of New York’s Sonja Morgan Dishes On Season Six Drama: New Girls And Toaster Ovens Are So Last Season!

The Real Housewives of New York City - Season 6

To be honest, I started to think that we'd never see the ladies of Real Housewives of New York on Bravo again. After all, it's been over a year since they last graced our television sets!  A lot can happen in a year–just ask Ramona Singer! Just imagine how many bottles of Pinot were consumed and how much drama ensued among the ladies as they filmed for their sixth season.

Sonja Morgan promises an entire change in dynamic among the ladies. Not only is scouting for men with her new bestie Carole Radziwill, she's also dining with NeNe Leakes to get business advice. Move over toaster ovens, Sonja's moving in a more fashionable direction. She has a lot to dish on, that's for sure!

In a recent interview with Wet Paint, Sonja shares that tension has grown between the veterans and some of last season's new girls, and while she doesn't name names, I am going to guess she's talking about Aviva Drescher. It's clearly not Carole! She also discusses some new professional ventures…and she's got a slew of logos to go along with them. That's got to mean something to Heather Thomson, right? Check out what she has to say below!

On what we can expect from the new season:  "There’s a total 180 on the new girls who were all nicey-nicey last year."

Was Carole your wingwoman this season, since she’s recently single? "Ya, Carole and I. And LuAnn [deLesseps] is always sort of a wingwoman because she’s single, even though she has a boyfriend. She’s not married.

And she’s single now after she broke up with Jacques, right?  Yes, she did announce that. It’s bittersweet, you know, I always said I didn’t think that was going to be a marriage. I said that right on camera last season. In the heat of the holiday chaos and a bad cocktail, I said “I love you, Jacques, but I love LuAnn more, and I think she shouldn’t lose any time.” So, I’m sad she’s not with him any longer, but I’m happy she can move on. Because it’s a big pond out there and LuAnn’s a beautiful woman, and she’s smart and she’s fun. She can have her pick of men.

Anyone else pick up on that? Sonja seemed to fumble through the part about LuAnn being single or not..

On her projects in the works:  "I just always continue to build my international fashion and lifestyle brand. I’ve studied what is my brand ID. I do have my logos together now, I have nine different logos ready to go. I forged a partnership with a showroom in the garment center and we’re looking for investors to grow it globally. And I continue to do my recipes with the toaster oven."

Will we be seeing more of the toaster oven this season?  "I’m going more and more in the direction of fashion now, but I can’t get away from cooking and saving time — having more time with your family. Because that’s part of my lifestyle. No matter where I travel in the world — I don’t care if I’m in a 20,000 square foot home, or I’m visiting someone who lives in a trailer — I am entertaining, cooking, serving. Because food’s the way to a man’s heart, and food’s the way to take care of your children. So I can’t get away from it."  That was a bit of a non-answer there.  But I'm guessing it's her way of dancing around a firm "no" on the toaster ovens ever coming to fruition.

Oh Sonja, don't ever change! I'm counting on burlesque shows and plumber innuendo for sure. The ladies (including new girl Kristen Taekman) will return to Bravo on March 11th at 9 PM ET.
