Prepare to be WOWed by a post-prison Teresa Giudice!
Teresa Giudice signed on for Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7!
Oy. I cannot decide which of these headlines is more âbang my head against a brick wallâ worthy. Ugh. Probably the second one, because the first comes from Teresaâs lawyer, whoâs being paid (maybe) to say things like Teresaâs âstrength and resolveâ amaze him. <side eye> And thereâs more where that came from.
âDecember 23rd is her release date,â Teresaâs lawyer, James J. Leonard, told E! News. âThere is a possibility that could be moved forward. Thatâs something weâre actively working on. She will be home for Christmas. I know that means the world to her. Christmas in her house is a big event. When she gets out, she will be on what they consider home confinement, but she will not ultimately be confined to her home. Sheâll be free to travel about with certain restrictions until February 5th.â If released on December 23rd, Teresa will have spent 11 months and 18 days of her 15-month sentence behind bars.

Following the home confinement that doesnât actually confine her to her home, Teresa will be on âsupervised release.â I would like to nominate Milania <whole body shudder> as her supervisor. âShe is going to be free to live her life,â revealed James, âdo everything she needs to do, take care of her family, earn money, whatever comes her way.â
James added that he expects Joe to begin his 41-month sentence in March.
Prepare yourself to be wowed by Teresa. âSheâs taking care of her body,â said James. âSheâs taking care of her mind. Sheâs making sure her family is looked after. Sheâs reprioritizing things in her life. I think sheâs going to emerge stronger, more focused. Sheâs getting back in touch with her faith. Sheâs spending a lot of time praying in there, and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people.â
Yes, WOWed, because Teresa is in the âbest shape of her life.â Sheâs running track, doing yoga and pilates, and eating clean. âShe looks extremely lean and fit,â shared James. âI can tell that is helping her mentally deal.â
Yâall will have to excuse me for not gushing over Teresa spending her job-less, child-less, responsibility-less, creditors-looking-for-their-money-less days working on her figure. Newsflash James: I couldnât care less if sheâs fit. Itâs going to take humility and accountability for me to be âwowedâ by Teresa Giudice.
James listed âbeing with her children, being with her family, being with Joeâ and âgetting back into whatever sheâs going to get back intoâ as Teresaâs post prison priorities. Elaborating on that âwhateverâ she may get into, he shared, âIf thatâs television, if itâs different projects, if itâs getting involved with a restaurant, etc. There are so many opportunities that she has.â
About Teresaâs eventual release, James said, âI think sheâs going to take it one day at a time, but her focus is⌠âI want to get back to my freedom, I want to get back to my husband, I want to get back to my parents, my children, and then kind of take it as it goes.â But I expect that youâll be seeing her shortly after she comes home.â Dun. Dun. Dun. Which brings us to her alleged return to RHONJ:
An unnamed source told All Things Real Housewives that Teresa HAS agreed to return to Real Housewives of New Jersey upon her release, therefore, season seven is officially on hold until sheâs home. The source also said Teresa has been âgiven a lot of powerâ over casting decisions. âTeresa is refusing to film with Jacqueline,â the source said, âso her return is no longer guaranteed.â
And thereâs more. The source claimed Joe (and Teresa) agreed to do a reality show featuring âhim and the coupleâs four daughters in their everyday life while Teresa is away.â
Feel free to head over to E! News to listen to Jamesâs interview in its entirety.
