It’s Official: Arnold Schwarzenegger Replaces Donald Trump On Celebrity Apprentice – UPDATED

Arnold Schwarzenegger visit Francois Hollande in Paris

Hasta La Vista, Donald Trump – You’re Fired!  NBC has officially named Donald’s replacement as Celebrity Apprentice host: actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger

The announcement was made this morning that going forward, Arnold is the head honcho in the boardroom.   He’ll take over on the 2016-2017 season of the show.

I have to say that I’m pretty disappointed in their pick.  Arnold is familiar dealing with employees (like the maids, for instance) and with other celebrities, but really?  Snore.   There are so many other potential choices they could’ve made.   Unless Mildred Baena is a contestant in his first season, this is going to be pretty meh.

Updated:  Donald Tweeted out congrats to Arnold – and his regrets to the fans.  “Congrats to my friend @Schwarzenegger who is doing next season’s Celebrity Apprentice. He’ll be great & will raise lots of $ for charity.” He added, “To all my fans, sorry I couldn’t do The Apprentice any longer—but equal time (presidential run) prohibits me from doing so. Love!”

Arnold Tweeted his thanks for the outpouring of support from fans, “Wow. I’m blown away and honored by all your tweets. I can’t wait to bring my experience to the board room & raise millions for charity.”

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON ARNOLD AS THE NEW HOST?  WHO WOULD’VE BEEN A BETTER CHOICE?
